I have completed my Master's of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and want to focus on serving the LGBTQIA community and the Alt/Kink/Poly communities in my work. I used to be a poker tournament director and floorperson at the world famous Binion's Gambling Hall in downtown Las Vegas. Before that, I was high school Spanish and Theatre teacher. I am happily married and (thankfully) have NO kids. That is so funny that you can do that trick. I didn't believe it was actually possible. There is a famous scene in David Lynch's television series Twin Peaks, from the mid-90's (currently airing on Bravo) where the little vixen character, Audrey Horne, uses the cherry stem trick as a seduction, trying to get a job in a brothel. I was assuming that was where you saw it. The cherry stem trick from Twin Peaks was even worked into a skit on Saturday Night Live. I had no idea this was a common thing to do with a cherry stem. I LOVED it. I am so glad that everything went well during the preformance, as i do believe i as about as nervous as the cast! And Mrs. Granger..she was a hoot! Spectacular.

How wonderful! This chapter is packed full of goodness: sex, drama, humor, jealousy, a bit of suspense - it has the lot.
It was very evident that Ginny Weasley is perfect to play Little Meg Giry; such a plucky little girl. ALL of the casting is inspired, here. And Severus does seem to be getting the message: he really does fit in.
A chapter well worth waiting for! Good job!

I am in love with this story! Your characterisations are spot-on. I hadn't seen Phantom in ten years, but this story inspired me to look into local theatre productions, and I discovered that the US tour of Phantom is in Chicago now! I took my boyfriend to see it last night, and it was as incredible as I remember... I preferred this Christine to Sarah Brightman (as her words were actually decipherable as she was singing) but no one can compare to Michael Crawford's nuanced performance of Phantom... absolute perfection!
Kudos to you, I can't wait for the next chapter.

I came across this story two nights ago, laid low with the flu, and have spent the time since then reading it voraciously in-between sniffles. It's the only time I've ever been grateful to be sick, since it would have been hard to tear myself away from reading to go to work! Please post the next chapters soon, or I might go mad from Snape-as-Phantom withdrawal.
