Hermione, Ginny and Luna, sharing a girl moment, decide to cast a Pairing-Plight Troth Charm on themselves for fun. Each placed in the cauldron one yesterday-today-and-tomorrow flower with sugar and spice and everything nice, and a snip, a snail and puppy-dog tail as they each said the rhyme. For Ginny, the results are exactly what she expected, and for Luna, she was only mildly surprised. However, for Hermione, the results were disastrous! She thought she’d be paired to Ron and live happily ever after. So what happened and why is she seeing Professor Snape in her dreams? He’s dead – isn’t he?

I love to write. A dreamer, a creator and filled with wonder, imagination and life. Sometimes I get lost in the other worlds I've read and in some I create. It's all good, I’m in good company.
“Imagination does not become great until human beings, given the courage and the strength, use it to create.”― Maria Montessori
“Our imagination flies -- we are its shadow on the earth.”― Vladimir Nabokov
“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions.”― Albert Einstein

Interesting info about the birch tree.I hope Hermione doesn't do something really foolish to sneak out and see him at the hospital, esp. since he is no longer there. So now that both wands work, will he use the new phoenix feather one? It sounds as if it responds even better than the old one.And I am especially glad that Hermione misses him and wants to be with him. I hope she moves in with him when he returns to Hogwarts.

Thank you. I thought so, that's why I shared it. You're not the only one to hope she doesn't do anything stupid... of course, there are others whom she has to ask permission from. lolPossibly, but he has both. Sometimes I don't give the teeny deatials, so you can assume he'll use either, depending n how he feels. lol But expect it to show up at some point!well... Yes she misses him. We'll see about her moving in. lolThank you very much for the review and the pretty stars, Clay. Hugs~
Great update!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you very much.
Another great update, but poor Hermione (and me) need Severus to get back together with her. It has been too long... Please help her!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you very much. Oh, well, I'm working on the relationship. You'll see together time. Thank you very much for the review.
Yay, Severus! He has his mojo (wand) back plus a new wand, and some leads on Dragen. I'm glad Kingsley and Harry are helping as much as they can. I hope Severus doesn't overdo things until he's stronger, but we'll see. Who's going to tell Hermione that Severus has been released from the hospital? Oh, I hope Hermione doesn't leave Hogwarts until the DE's are truly gone! Thanks for the new chapter!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yep, he does! Kingsley and Harry were on his side day one, (well, after the initial shock wore off) Severus is stronger than you think. lol Oh, i can't answer that. The question is why didnt' he tell her?Thank you very much for the review and the pretty stars.
WOW NICE ACTION SCENE HEHEHE , HERMIONE GETTIN READY TO INTO TROUBLE LOL THANK YOU FOR THE UPDATE!!!!

great update. poor sev...if all that went before wasn't enough! thanks and mucho smoochies
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you. Yeah I know, but that darn snake bite - at least he knows how much she does care about him, even if she's being stubborn about it. Thak you very much for the review.
Wow, go Hermione! Of course she would be able to figure this out if anyone would. Even though David is a minor character and probably done, I liked him. A very interesting curse, by the way. (that's interesting in a good way, of course). I think Severus' reaction was spot on with a mix of incredulity, anger, gratefulness, and pride in her abilities.I liked the wedding. Of course Luna's family would have quirky traditions about weddings. While Hermione was secretly hoping the bride and groom weren't getting drunk, I was thinking quite the opposite. That would liven things up a bit.I'm really looking forward to seeing if and how this has changed the relationship between Severus and Hermione. Thanks for another great chapter.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yep, Our girl did it. lol I'm glad you liked David. Don't count on not seeing him again. And I'm glad you liked Severus' reaction - so typical him. lolYes, the wedding was fun - Irish traditions and superstitions mixed with Jewish - quite a combo. I'm glad you liked it.You are very welcome. Thank you very much for the review and the stars. Hugs~

Geez, it took me forever to get to this, but the beauty is that I don't have to wait but two seconds to see what happens. Maybe there is a method to my madness...I like the interaction between Severus and Harry. It is realistic because they come off as more than two men working on the same assignment, but not too friendly either. I think fight scenes are both hard to read and probably hard to write. This one came out pretty good. And the end... of course he is not dead. That still doesn't make it not cliffhangeryish (That is a great word. Hope it is real!) Maybe this will be a catalyst for the budding relationship between he and Hermione. God knows they need help! Another great chapter. On to the next...
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
LOL I'm glad you like the Interaction between Harry and Seveurs - it's about time they both treated each other as adutls, right?I don't mind writing fight scenes - I see them in my mind, type what I see... try to show all the participants somewhat, and still have those extra shots(spells) that come from 'nowhere'. It's fun.I'll accept cliffhangerish! lol I simply realized the chapter was too long and decided to put what happened to him on the next chapter. I know, it's a mean thing to do. Thank you for the review.
Hang on, Severus died, even for just a moment? Will this effect things? I mean, they will still be soul-mates, but has it countered the bond?I can't wait for the next update
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Oh sweetie, hang on - no he's not dead - hurt, yes, hit by a curse, yes, but not dead. But some one did die. If I'd killed Severus the story would be over. Hermione in tears onver her dead soul mate - I woudln't do that to you!!As to how it will effect things... well...I'm waiting to get it back from my beta! As soon as I clean it up and iron it out, you get it. Thank you for the review, doll.
OMG!!! IM IN SHOCK!!!! YOU UPDATED AGAIN?!!!!!!! MY HEART BE STILL... THANK YOU GOOD FOR HERMIONE AND IM GLADF SNAPE LIVED..IM STILL PO"D JK KILLED HIM OFF!!! HUMPH FEEL FREE TO UPDATE SOON.

Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Have I been that deliquent? I have 2 more to be polished, ironed out and trimmed, as soon as I get them back from the cleaners, I'll share them too! Thak you for sticking with me on this story.
Leave it to Hermione to figure out what was wrong with Severus and research until she found a cure. I liked Severus' reaction to how she went about find his cure. He is infinatly proud of her but at the same time I think he is a little horrified at the steps that were missed.I really enjoyed the wedding. Thank you for explaining all the details that go into a Jewish wedding. You wrote it beautifully.Tell your beta's to hurry up so you can post your other chapters very soon.See, I read your emails too.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yes, once again Hermione is in her element and doing research. Its important that she stuck with him, for both of them. Yep, proud but horrified that she cut steps... thank gods it worked!Thank you. I wanted to mix the Irish traditions and supersititions with the Jewish ceremony. lol I'm so glad it turned out well.I'll pass along the request. lolThnak you very much for the review, doll. Hugs~ email me anytime.
I've been to various Jewish weddings and they are absolutely lovely, but who was Jewish? Luna or Neville? I think I missed something. Most Rabbi's won't marry a mixed couple, they have to be fairly liberal. But it was very beautiful and I love the fact that Hermione found a cure fo rthe Inferius Curse.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
My sister-in-law is Jewsih, I've been to 3 Jewish weddings now. realisitically, I simply wnated to mix Irish traditions and supersititions (Luna's aunts with all their good luck stuff lol) with a Jewish wedding (thought it would be different.) Neville is Jewish, or raised Jewish. His Gran is the Jew, her side of the family. One of Neville's aunts has a Jewish last name. I didn't know that about the Rabbi's. I've been to a mixed religon wedding and there was a Rabbi. I'm glad that you liked the wedding.Yep, Hermione in her element - research and finding the answer! Book smart and clevernes. lol Thank you very much for the review and the pretty stars, blue. Hugs~
Very nice chapter. I can't wait to see what happens next between our favorite pair. Keep up the great work! ~Jen
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you very much, Jen. I will do my best for you. Hugs~
That was incredible. Does the young healer like her? Or was that just a decent guy stepping up to her defense? I really liked how you had Severus telling her to write it down, that he wanted her to get credit. Has she found a career path that will allow her to stay close to him? And they are going back to the castle, lots of males for him to be jealous of their attention. This should be really interesting. I'm really attached to all of these stories that were part of my early fanfiction reading. I really picked a great time to start reading (Winter 2008). You all created some amazing stories with all the challenges. I appreciate all the time you and your betas put into the stories. It has been a delightful time for me.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you very much. Oh, er... I just started typing David and he developed into a neat guy. He knew her, of her, and how smart she was... LOL Yes, after snarling at her for taking shortcuts - he compliments her intelligence. It really was fun to have him tell her to write it up - acknowledge her achievemant. No, I haven't gotten to her career path or choice, yet. School should be enjoyable. LOL Males, revision time, great-grandfather, celebrity status... oh yes, lots! Has it really been 2008 when I started this story? Gads, and you're still with me on this? I can't believe it's been that long. It was a great challenge, and some really great stories, your right. Thank you for the review,

I foresee bad stuff ahead. If Severus died, doesn't that mean the bonding is gone? Darn it, now I have to wait AGAIN for more. *sigh*. At least the wait is worth it :Dthanks for the great read,
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
LOL I can't answer that. But there is a reaction to this event. Thank you for saying it's worth the wait. My beta has the next two chapters, I hope to get them back soon. Thank you very much for the review.
I hope Snape taught the countercurse to someone else. But now Hermione will have to look at how she really feels about him.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Oh, I'm sure he did. If not the DA will get it passed around. I agree.Thank you very much for the review and the pretty stars.
NO!!! Snape is in trouble!! I can't wait to read more.GREAT STORY!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Next chapter is in queue! Thank you for following along and for the review.
THis is one evil way of ending this chapter. Of course he isnt' dead then what would be the point of continuing the story. But maybe this is the way you are going to make Hermione see the light. HMMMMMMM! Don't keep us waiting too long/.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
I"m sorry, kimbee, but the chapter would have been waaaay to long and I had to cut off a thrid that went on the next chapter... but it's in queue right now. So hopefully you'll have it soon. okay? (No he's not exactly dead) Thank you very much for the review, doll, and for sticking with me.
What!!! That is a truly evil cliffhanger! I realize he's probably not dead, but still...purely evil cliffie. Anyway, I liked the dynamics you put in this chapter...the dialogue between both Harry and Severus as well as Severus' thoughts/discussions on the bonding situation. Please update again soon! Please, with cherries on top! ~Jen
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Jen, I have the next one ready! I'm so glad that you liked this chapter and how Harry and Severus interacted. Thank you very much for the review, doll, and I'm so sorry for the cliffie. Sort of...
How exciting. I'm sorry Snape was hurt, but it might be just what the story needs to bring he and Hermione together.I like your reference to Christopher Wren, making him a former Headmaster of Hogwarts, but one wonders how he would have found the time after reading his biography. I grew up in Williamsburg, VA, and the entire town was built up around a building designed by him, named "The Sir Christopher Wren Building." It was constructed between 1695 and 1700, and is the oldest college building in the U.S. It is the crown jewel of the campus of William & Mary.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Hello, Clay. I know, poor Sevie, but since I'm not at the end yet - it's a... ya know. I thought Wren would be a great Headmaster, and I really liked his name. I wasn't aware of the stuff you mentioned. Maybe he moved to Scotland after his 'death' (for the Muggles) and started teaching? Wizards live a long lives you know. teeheheheThank you for the information - it's so kewl to know these things. and thank you for the review and pretty stars too. Hugs~
Response from ClayPotter (Reviewer)
Yes, a good wizard that had assimilated into the Muggle world as Wren did would have to fake his own death in order to not end up being burned at the stake simply because he made it to the ripe age of 107!! Wren would surely have known this and taken the necessary steps. ;)
Yikes. Now that Severus has been severely injured, I hope Hermione treats him better, instead of preferring to spend her time with her friends over her bonded mate -- just like a young teenager. Yay for Minerva remembering the location. Harry should have had a backup plan to summon medical help, or to Portkey the injured away. That Entrail-Expelling Curse at Darthmyer sounds wicked; I hope he doesn't blame Severus for it. Thanks for the new chapter!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Her reaction is... I'll post it in queue this weekend. okay?Yep, Minerva came through. Harry did have some back-up plan, but he was hurt and not thinking clearly. It was a hard first raid to run. Thank you very much for the review and the pretty stars. Hugs~
This isn't the end, is it? It doesn't seem like it, but your authors note made me wonder.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
No it's not the end. I'm going to put the next chapter in queue this weekend. But don't hold your breath - blue lips don't look good an anyone. teehehe Kidding.Thank you so much for reading and for the review.
OOOOHH GOODY A BIT OF DANGER HUMMMM ..........I WONDER WHO HIS NURSE WILL BE??? LOL
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Oh, well, a bit of drama, yes. It will be a strapping young wizard who played Quidditch for Hufflepuff!Thank you for reading and for the review!
