Hermione, Ginny and Luna, sharing a girl moment, decide to cast a Pairing-Plight Troth Charm on themselves for fun. Each placed in the cauldron one yesterday-today-and-tomorrow flower with sugar and spice and everything nice, and a snip, a snail and puppy-dog tail as they each said the rhyme. For Ginny, the results are exactly what she expected, and for Luna, she was only mildly surprised. However, for Hermione, the results were disastrous! She thought she’d be paired to Ron and live happily ever after. So what happened and why is she seeing Professor Snape in her dreams? He’s dead – isn’t he?

I love to write. A dreamer, a creator and filled with wonder, imagination and life. Sometimes I get lost in the other worlds I've read and in some I create. It's all good, I’m in good company.

Uh oh, those boys are in T.R.O.U.B.L.E! :)
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Oh yes they are! Big time. LOL
Very interesting and revealing chapter. I wish Hermione would see that Severus does care for her! Oh, well....it will come eventually. LOL. Great job on this chapter! Update again soon. ~Jen
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you very much. Oh yes, it will happen in time, I'm working on it!
I hope she tells Severus that she was the one who insisted on continuing with the spell; Blake did ask her about stopping. She got a lot of family research done that she should still remember for Severus. So perhaps next chapter won't be explosive? Fingers crossed! Thank you for the new chapter!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
LOL yeah, it wasn't all Blake's fault. Yep, she's got the family tree all figured out - and that will help Severus a lot. Oh, next one will be fun! Thank you for the review.
I've loved this story from the beginning, but now I am so confused!! This growing family tree is beyond me, and I work with genealogy. Maybe you could write out as an A/N or as part of the next chapter exactly who is who and why anyone would call Charles John Osgood, Thomas? You don't have to give any future plot away, just untangle it one chapter at a time. I have no idea what's going on except that no one has the right names, everyone has similar names, and someone cheated on their husband.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Oh, Darque, contact me through email (you can do so by clicking on my penname) and I can send you the family tree drawing, (yes I drew it out so I can keep it straight). That should help - but really, once Severus knows who's who - he'll get them all arrested (or in St Mungo's) anyway. to break it down: Talfyn Prince had three kids: Charles Clemet Prince, Eileen Prince (Severus' mum) and John Howard Prince. Charles Clemet Prince is a nere-do-well, black sheep of the family, and crook - so he uses aliases: Clemet King, Clemet Richfield, Clint Richman and so on... Talfryn's other son: John Howard Prince married Frances Griswold - but he died 3 months later. Frances Prince (nee Griswold) married Thomas James Osgood shortly after. Frances' son was named Charles John Osgood, but if you do the math - he's actually John Prince's son.Charles John Osgood married and had a boy, John Talfryn Osgood. (would be about the age of Severus, only slightly older.) John Talfryn Osgood knew that he was actually John Howard Prince's grandson from his father. John Talfryn Prince is married to Ludwick Graven's sister, Cedilline Osgood (nee Graven). Hope this helps. If not - I'll send you the drawing.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
It was pointed out that I made an error so I am reasponding here to correct my mistake - Talfryn was the father of John Howard and Edgar Albert Prince. He had two sons. Edgar Albert Prince was the father of Eileen Prince (Severus' mum) and the nere-do-well blighter, Charles Clemet Prince (aka Clemet King/Clemet Richfield/Clint Richman...) What I have earlier about John Howard's son and grandson is right, though.
Response from Darque Hart (Reviewer)
Thank you so much for sending me the chart ... it will make following the story so much easier with it all printed out in order.
First, let me say, your over-all storyline and the subplots are interesting and curiousity keeps me returning to this story. You've invested time in doing research, which gives this story another interesting touch. It's written well.hermione being stubborn, I can buy. Unreasonably stubborn?, not so much - not after facing facts. Unfortunately, at this point... and I might add - 37 chapters in... Hermione is coming off as a petulant brat. Insecure and self-absorbed -- horrid combination.I will continue to read this, as I am immersed with seeing where you take this. I am disappointed, however with hermione's whiney-azz attitude.A little self-absorbed stupidity, that I can buy as well.... but, seriously? these chapters add up to months of it.I hope some light comes through soon and you don't take so long to write it. :)

Thank you for the comments,
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
. Oh, she comes around and not too far down the line. but yes, she's being difficult. I hope you do like where it goes. Thank you very much for your honest opinions.
Severus is controlling his moods around Hermione now. This certainly has helped smooth out their relationship. They do not get to have any true intimacy do they? I mean, such as hand holding or sitting together talking with each other instead of sitting at separate tables working on their own. OK one stolen kiss. For a wizard of 38 years, Severus must be severely frustrated. Although on the other hand, the relationship does appear to be making real progress.I love the great-grandfather and the interactions with Severus and Hermione.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yep, he is. Things are starting to smooth out between them, but as much as he'd like more, she's being stubborn. Don't expect him to be idle though. lol like a 38 Yr-old wizard is going to be satisfied with a occasional kiss. Thank you for the review.
Thank you for the update, it was well worth the wait!Poor Severus, he's seriously frustrated in this chapter isn't he? In a way it's a bit of justice Hermione having the upperhand for the time being. However, it's good to see him understanding that her studies come first and it is only for the year, and not (blatantly) pushing her for more.Interesting that the book reacted so well to her; almost like a puppy having it's belly scratched. Is it because of the bond, or is the book semi-sentient and supposed to be as temperamental as it's owner? The potion mentioned in said book is it supposed to be for Talfryn or someone else?It was nice to see Hermione finally meet Talfryn. She seems to have a way of taming the temperamental in this chapter doesn't she? I'm glad to see them get along so well. He really has opened another door for discussion between Severus and Hermione hasn't he?Looking forward to seeing what happens next!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you,
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
. Yes, for now, Hermione has the upper hand in the relationship and he is being very understanding about her school work - it is her N.E.W.T. year, after all. The book's reaction was because of the Bond. The potion - well, Severus needs a creative outlet for his frustrations and he is a Potions master. You'll see much more about this potion later. Talfryn is actually a decent wizard, only pretty stuck in his ways. He's cranky at times, but I'm sure he's been curious about Hermione ever since he found out that his great-grandson got his 'hooks' into her. Thank you very much for the review and your stars. I'm updating - we'll see if it passes through mod approval?
I love that grumpy old man’s meddling! Someone needs to sort the two of them out, and he seems like the chap to do it. It’s sweet that Talfryn wants to be around to see a wedding and any children, and I’m glad he likes Hermione; hopefully Serverus will now be able to build a relationship with him. So if Talfryn roomed and went into business with a muggleborn does that mean he disliked Tobias Snape because he was a bit of a bad egg, rather than a muggle? I’m enjoying the mystery surrounding Severus’ family and Miss Priswell, too. I wonder what she was worried about on his first visit. What was going on down the main hall that she was concerned about? Hmm, the plot thickens...
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Oh, I dunno if it's meddling so much as wanting to be around to make sure his family continues. After all, Severus is Eileen Prince's son. Yep, he likes Hermione, who wouldn't? lol Oh, you'll see Talfryn again, and again and again... lol Humm,
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
, that's a good question. Yes Talfryn went into business with a Muggle-born, and Yes, he likes Hermione (I'm sure he knows she's a Muggle-born, too) so it's apparent that he isn't a pure-blood-purist. It's then very likely, and follows to logical reason, that there was something else he didn't like about Tobias. As in canon, I haven't painted Tobias as the great guy, loving father, but quite the opposite. As for Hermione being worried? it was more that she realized that he'd taken her to the house where the 'mystery' was occurring. She was looking around and sizing things up, even sizing up Miss Priswell and checking out the house. But once she approached Talfryn and sat down she was relaxed enough. Ever met the 'in-laws'? Well, that may have played a part in her actions - the 'will they approve of me?' fears. Sorry to babble, but thank you very much for the review.
Response from stellium (Reviewer)
Ooh, I've just realised I mucked up my review a bit - I was wondering why Miss Priswell was anxious when Severus visited the first time, not Hermione. I didn't make that very clear! That's why I don't write fics and stuff, I'm all over the place...
I'm so glad Hermione finally met her great-grandfather-in-law; they seem to get along well, and the reversal of the Inferius Curse sounds amazing, more than her advertures with Harry. Has Pepper been able to keep her master safe from more of Miss Priswell's poisons? He seems so sharp that I wonder if he has been able to figure out what Priswell is doing to him. As you've pointed out, Hermione is very much an immature teenager, not realizing her bondmate wants to spend more time with her. Well, at least Severus has Lucius to hang with. Thank you for the new chapter!!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yep, and she'll see Talfryn again, soon enough. As for Pepper - you'll see. but yes, Talfryn is taking Severus' potions, not Miss Priswell's. Has he figured it out, you'll see. Hermione is trying to have a 'normal' school year and focusing on her N.E.W.T.s. She knows Severus wants more time, but she's putting school first before anything. Yep, Severus has the Malfoys to talk to. lol Thank you for reading and for the review.
They seem to be feeling more at ease with each other again. :)
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yep, thankfully, makes my job as writer/therapist so much easier when my Hermione-muse and Severus-muse cooperate! lol
WHOOO HOOO IM SO HAPPY TO SEE THIS UPDATE!!! YES IM STALKING THIS STORY TO, IM GLAD HERMIONE HAS MET HIS GRANDFATHER AND GOT ON SO WELL. THEY SHOULD BE READY FOR SOME ALONE TIME LOL AND I SEE SHE WAS THAT HERMIONE GRANGER THEY ARE STUCK NOW SHE NEEDS TO GET ON WITH IT. I WAIT WITH BATED BREATH FOR YOUR NEXT UPDATE. THANKS!!!!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
I"m glad to make you so happy! Feel free to stalk! That is only encouraging me to not listen to certain xxx's and to write. Oh there will be alone time. lol Believe me, my Severus-muse is getting impatient. Thank you for the review.
Yea another chapter. This was really good and informative. I liked the interaction between Hermione and Talfryn, this is giving her a hint of what Severus will be like in his old age.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
You're very welcome for the update, sorry it took so long. Yes, I like Talfryn too. As for Severus being like his great-grandfather, possibly? Thank you for the review.
That was a delight to read. I love all the details, and Severus's impatience at waiting for Hermione.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you very much. Yes, I'm getting inpatient with her as well, but I'm four chapters ahead of you and things are looking up. Thank you for sticking with me and my story, I appreciate the review.
It will certainly be nice when school is finished and they can spend more time together, and with her no longer a student. They are slowly starting to piece things together about his family. Hopefully they'll find what they are looking for soon. Interesting that Severus' book is letting Hermione handle it. His project sounds important, and I hope he'll let Hermione assist him. I am glad that he is feeliing unsure of her skills for such a complicated potion, rather than her automatically being some kind of potioins genius just to fit the story. Keep the chapters coming.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Oh it may not take that long. lol Yes, they are piecing together his family tree and you'll have even more answers soon, very soon. Yes, interesting that the book, that is usually sotemperamental and crotchety would react so well to her - do you think it's it because of the Bond or her love of books? hmmmm lol Yes, there is an importance regarding the potion, but also that it's difficult. Nope, sorry in this one, he doesn't see her as all-knowing, all-capable wonder witch. lol I don't see Hermione that way. Smart and all butfallible. Oh, Iwill keep them coming - I'm four ahead of you and I hope you like them. I just have to clean them up and get them through the moderated part of posting... so I hope to give you another soon. Thank you for the review.
Very interesting. Poor Severus not getting to see Hermione a lot though. :( I like how Hermione finally met Talfyrn. :) Great chapter....can't wait for more!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you very much. I know, she's not co-operating very well but things get better. I'm glad you enjoyed her visit with Talfryn. Thank you for reading and for the review.
I'd tell you how many times I've checked my inbox looking for the update notice, but my daughter tells me that it is creepy and stalkerish so... I adore this story! What prompted Severus to look at this potion, is it something the book prompted since that would be something Hermione would worry about? Or did he look into it years ago for Lily? If it is the latter, he might should keep that to himself.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Tell your daughter that I don't mind in the least. I'm flattered that you are still following me and my story. Thank you btw. I'd like to think that Severus experiments. Professor Reginald and Severus served under the same Potions master, and are now working together. (I gave that to you in a previous chapter - how Severus knew him) Maybe it's time on their hands, the idea of brewing/inventing/experimenting with his friend, or what, but that's one reason - the other will be obvious later. Lily isn't a factor in this. It is a bit like Hermione's creating the reversal for the Inferi...Thank you for keeping with me and for the review. Happy reading.
Yes, I would love to see the scene where she explains to Filch exactly why she is out so late. Would the Headmaster corroborate her story, or give her a wicked detention... with him? It's nice that he finally has some help with the mystery of Miss Priswell. Hopefully Hermione can come up with something as Severus seems to be out of ideas. Hermione taking the potion truly did show complete faith in both Severus and Madam Pomfrey. While he was annoyed with her for doing so, I think it was a good move on her part.“I’m Headmaster, Hermione, the rules don’t necessarily apply,” he purred. Ha! That is so true and of all people, he would use that to his advantage.Another well done chapter. I hope to see you back soon.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Actually, I have a reader to thank for that line - it was from a review. lol a nod to her. But, humm. Under him I think. lol Sometimes, we look so closely that we miss something - or being a guy, he discredits gossip. either way, yes, Hermione will figure out something. Yep, her taking the potion was a hugetestimony to her trust in him and the Healer. Oh, yes, I love that line, too. Too bad she's still putting him off. Don't worry - it comes to a head soon.
It's delightful, it's delicious, it's de-lovely. It's beautiful, it's bewitching, it's stupendous, and it's fetching. And it's made me a happy fangirl. Once again you've given us a chapter chock full of danger and mystery, love and romance.I'm glad that Hermione was able to help Severus test the replacement potion, and find out this mysterious connection between the men he knows are associated with Miss Priswell and the plot to kill his great-grandfather, Talfryn. Never doubt the intellectual prowess of our Miss Granger. The fun they had after putting away the Daily Prophets was a very welcomed part in the story. I have a mental picture of her running through the halls trying to get to her dorm before Mr Filch finds her. Now wouldn't that be something to be caught by the caretaker and quizzed as to why she was so "disheveled girl slipped from the Headmaster’s tower, her lips swollen, her blouse untucked, her eyes sparkling," and flying through the halls? Mr Filch would have a field day taking her before the Headmaster for discipline.I am very much looking forward to your next update. You've blown me away with this story, and I'm forever grateful that you share you gift for writing with us. Well done and well done!Beth
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Brayer, oh doll the things you come up with. Yes, having her test the potion, the trust it showed is important, and Yes, she will approach this mystery from her own angle - and ... you'll see. Thank you very much for the review, the laugh you gave me with the image... Filch . I'm glad you like my stories, and I do love sharing them with you. Hugs~
Whoa! That was quite a send off Severus gave Hermione after he'd indicated that he had been upset that she had come to St Mungo's. I felt the heat radiation right off my computer screen. Well done, bea. He really is glad he got a chance to see her.
Would I be wrong if I said that the kissing and fondling actually made his nervous system grow stronger? Yes, indeedie... the wily Headmaster was testing the waters and giving her the impression that he was much weaker than she supposed him to be. Damn, that man deserves an Oscar for his performance. And I glad he is making the effort to win her, but if she finds out that he was playing the sympathy card, she have a bit of his arse for breakfast... Wait! That's exactly what both of them would like... I think...
Squeeeeeee! Severus is out of the hospital, and on his way to finding answers to the questions that he has been thinking about since Hermione and David worked the spell to break the effects of the Inferi Curse... I thought his discussion with Ollivander was brilliant, and I love how he tricked MacTavish into grabbing his wand and then whacking the hell out of the Death Eater with a Body Bind while snatching his wand back. Yes! Bea, that was an inspired solution to this problem with his old wand. Elegant, really. Now I'm off to read the only chapter I haven't read yet. *hint hint hint*
Lots of hugs and many thanks for this fabulous story,Beth
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you. Nothing like a nice little kiss to help the injured - but no, I think it may have helped his morale more than his nervous system. Thank you for the nod on the wand issue. lol Yep, now the guy has two. Thank you so much for the review. Happy reading, doll.
Hermione's return to Hogwarts was a lot harder for her than she had expected, chiefly because she was being talked about rather than being talked to by her fellow students. I'd thought that it would have been a happier occasion, too. Poor Hermione. Hopefully all will settle down shortly.I'm glad she is having dreams about Severus. I hope the frustration she feels at the end of the dream will mean she will be drawn to the conclusion that she really does want to be with him. I was thrilled to see that Kingsley's plan to clip Miss Maggie's wings is bearing fruit. Hooray for the Fides Troth of Confidentiality Charm and the threat of dismissal. Perhaps she will keep her mouth shut, but if she is as committed a gossip as I think she is, Rite will wheedle until Maggie is out of a job. Will Rita have time for her then? I doubt it... nothing in it for the Skeeter woman.I hope Hermione will get to see Severus soonest! I'm off to find out.Beth
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yes, because now she's a celebrity. A war hero, famous, and they are treating her like it. lol Yep, she's dreaming about him - and in a good way. lol Yep, Kingsley took action and tried to clip her horn-rimmed wings. lol Yes, Hermione will see Severus soon. Thank you for the review, doll.
This chapter was a lovely read, and as usual, made me have many more questions. I like the way David defended Hermione when Severus made his typical snarky remark about short-cutting the testing process. It was clear to anyone who know him that when he followed it up with his wish that she write it up for publication that he really was thankful and impressed.Since he was technically dead for a split second before he was revived, will that affect their Bond? Will Severus have to vie with David for Hermione's affections? Will Hermione be allowed to come to Hogwarts for the school year or will she have to wait for the next school year? Who was that man who died in the croft house... the one that couldn't be identified?Thank you for Luna and Neville's beautiful wedding. Everything was so well written that I could almost see the peacocks and the gazebo, the wine and the rings. Lovely.Beth
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you, I'm so glad that you liked it. David was just coming to her defense and, not really knowing Severus as well as she does, didn't pick up on his actual meaning - precautions and never take short-cuts without empirical evidence and experiments and evaluations. Well, just like finding someone on the floor, not breathing and no pulse - if you do CPR you can 'bring them back to life' so to speak. The brain wasn't dead - he wasn't actually totally dead - so no, her quick revival of him will not effect the Bond. It can't I have plans for the Bond and it can't be broken yet. Okay? I'm glad that you liked Neville and Luna's Jewish-Irish wedding. It was a fun one to type. Thank you for the review. Hugs
My poor Severus. As aggravated as he was at the beginning to find out he was bonded to Hermione, he now finds himself as just as determined to have her with him at Hogwarts... except she isn't keeping to her agreements... just like she had told him she never lied to him... well, she forgot, she just forgot. As hard as it is for him to be patient, it's hardly surprising that she is somewhat unsure of what she wants to do. Had he not been harsh in his treatment of her early on? Ya reap what ya sow. That being said, I do agree with the reply he sent her when she owled him that she wanted to spend the weekend with her friends.
The battle that Severus, Harry, Ron, et al., found themselves in was as fierce as the earlier one, but you did a helluva job making it exciting and still allowing the reader (this reader, anyway) keep up with what has happening to whom. And one thing I noticed was how few times Severus was mentioned in the action. Now I know why. I am sorry others on both teams were killed or maimed, but you have just got to see that Severus gets help. At this point he is still alive, so you've gotta keep him that way!!!
Thanks for another great chapter, bea.
Beth
PS—Those were some hellacious spells you developed. Did you attend Hogwarts? C'mon, you can tell me... I won't tell anybody...
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yep, unfortunately, you reap what you sow, and now she's had enough, pulling back somewhat, just when he realizes what he's got. Pride. Ego. Hurts. Disappointment. However, she's not told him to bugger off - so there is hope. I'm glad that you liked the battle and could keep up. Don't worry, he's not dead - that would end the story and I'm not done yet. lol Nope, I attended school here in Ca. not Hogwarts. But I do like making up spells. lol Thank you for the review, Beth. Hugs.
If I tried to tell you everything I loved about this chapter, I'd just have to quote each and every word back to you. Suffice it to say that Hermione and Severus sleeping together in the large reclining chair was sooooo perfect. And then breakfast with all the staff in the Great Hall, and the lovely dinner at Malfoy Manor, and that unbelievably, completely erotic love fest in the garden, all combined to make me a very happy fangurl. *sighs*Thank you.Beth

I did mean to mention that watching Ron play with his food made me laugh out loud. I think the only thing he could have done that would have made me laugh any harder was if he were eating bangers and mash and talking with his mouth full. LOL!
Thought for the Day: Hunting for Death Eaters can be hazardous to your health. My gracious, could there be any more unobservant woman than Hermione Granger-Snape when she was trying to avoid Draco Malfoy? Please, girl, get a clue.Thank goodness that Draco was there with her. And what was Ron doing taking his eyes off of Hermione while she was running errands for George?!?!?! Something tells me that he will make a piss-poor Auror. Poor, poor Ron. I hope he likes clerking for his brother. I wonder if Severus will say anything to Kingsley about his apparent inability to keep his mind on his job... his real job, watching out for Death Eaters. One good thing to come out of Hermione's brush with death was that Severus told her exactly what it was like to be a Death Eater, exactly what kinds of things he'd had to do. I think it was good for him that he told her, and I think it was good for her to hear him tell her. And it answered every question she had about that part of his life... she didn't want to know more, and that can only be a good thing... for both of them.I loved the evening Severus and Hermione had at Hogwarts. You know, I think that was just whet they needed, a quiet night in front of the fire, some wine, and a restful sleep. And in the morning, the cherry on top was Miss Skeeter's full of "you-know-what" article in the Daily Profit. Yes, I said Profit.Once again you've given us a smashing chapter! And thanks for bringing Astoria Greengrass into the picture for Draco. He needs a witch to love him, too.Beth
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Oh my gods, I died laughing as I read this one. I had to share it with my beta - hope you don't mind. Girl you kill me sometimes. I love it. Yes, this one really had Severus angry enough to spell it all out - in details ofexactly what the Death Eaters were like - especially the bad ones. The dinner was fun to type, and yes, it worked out well. Thank you very much for the review, doll. hugs
Response from braye27 (Reviewer)
Of course I don't mind!!! This story has brought me so much pleasure that I'm beyond delighted that I could make you laugh with this review.*hugs*
That is one of the best fight scenes I've ever read. It was intense and busy, but it is a shame that Graven got away. I hope they're able to catch him soon. (And I hope the rest of them can be found quicker than that!) I can't help but wonder if Talfryn will be safe from retaliation for Severus' role in this roundup... of course, I think Pepper can be trusted to do her best to protect her Master.
Headmaster's house-elves packing up his things that were to go to Hogwarts were so accomplished that I thought Severus was going to have a coronary trying to make them understand that not everything was supposed to go. The scene with the light blue polyester pants was down right funny.
I'm glad that Hermione's testimony helped to sway the Wizengamot to acquittal for Narcissa. Her gratitude to all of this who testified was well placed, and I'm so glad for Severus that he got to hear it first hand from her lips.
But the most surprising thing in this chapter was that Severus began to tell Harry and Hermione about Lily. Boy, Howdy, that was a real turning point for him, and I'm certain it was very important to Harry and Hermione, but for different reasons.
Beth
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thanks, fighting scenes are easy to make confusing and I have to read over them several times to keep it all sorted out and yet read fast. That way it feels like a fight. Oh, yes, as you know since you read my stuff - I love - LOVE house-elves! I laughed while typing the bit with the pants - as well as the pot of dirt and the books. Glad you liked them too. Yes, Hermione'stestimony is a turning point for Narcissa as well - which you'll see later. I opted to move the bit of Severus talking about Lily to later, but it needed to get in before school - so it went in here. I know it was really important for Harry and in a way, you'll see a bit of a difference between Harry and Severus later. I think he's generosity helps things.. and Harry's respect not to push but to listen. Thank you very much for the review, brayer.
