Hermione, Ginny and Luna, sharing a girl moment, decide to cast a Pairing-Plight Troth Charm on themselves for fun. Each placed in the cauldron one yesterday-today-and-tomorrow flower with sugar and spice and everything nice, and a snip, a snail and puppy-dog tail as they each said the rhyme. For Ginny, the results are exactly what she expected, and for Luna, she was only mildly surprised. However, for Hermione, the results were disastrous! She thought she’d be paired to Ron and live happily ever after. So what happened and why is she seeing Professor Snape in her dreams? He’s dead – isn’t he?

I love to write. A dreamer, a creator and filled with wonder, imagination and life. Sometimes I get lost in the other worlds I've read and in some I create. It's all good, I’m in good company.

“Our imagination flies -- we are its shadow on the earth.”― Vladimir Nabokov

Intriguing, I'm wondering about that relative myself...

Oh me too, I mean - you'll see. He's a real piece of work. teeheheheThank you for the reveiw.
Oh my goodness ... this is complete?!?! Yay! Just wanted to stop in to say that you haven't lost me as a reader, I just have found myself buried by real life over the last year, so I've stopped reading chapters. At some point I will find the time to finish this thing, but I also really want to start from the beginning before I move on to new chapters. So exciting when something you've been reading for a long time is finished since so many good fic gets abandoned. Good job, you!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yep. It's complete. Buried RL happens, even to me! I appreciate you and that you give your time to even read my writing. means a lot. Thank you for teh review and happy enchanted reading to you.
Ugh! Both of them better come to their senses and quickly!! It'd be nice if at least one of them wuld loose their stubborn streak long enough to simply invite the other for tea. Tehy haven't even spoken and Hermione's rushing off to sign annulment papers. Good grief!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
I know - aren't they being stubborn? Hermione only has the papers, picked them up. She hasn't signed anything - yet. Tea. Severus inviting Hermione for tea. Nope, I've something else in mind that's more fun.

I don't think I've reviewed this story recently. I love this story and can't wait for your next update. Someone needs to lock those two in a cabin in the middle of nowhere for awhile so they can sort things out!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Oh gods! That's bloody brilliant! can you imagine, Severus locked in a cabin, wandless, with Hermione? and leave her wandless too! The cabin warded in such a way as to make wandless magic to weak to... Thank you!!! By whom? maybe...?
Response from soccermom (Reviewer)
How about they're locked in a cabin wandless with Rita Skeeter in her animagus shape and a can of bug spray and huge fly swatter as weapons!!!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Laugh so hard I pee my knickers!

I have backtracked a few chapters so I may have already reviewed this one, but in case I haven't ... :)What really touched me about this chapter was it's 'realism' at the end (am I even allowed to use that word when talking about wizards and magical trials??). I mean, the tiral itself ended ideally - which I, for one, am grateful for - but it was after the trial that really spoke to me. Severus' responses and his utter shocked seemed palpable in the words you chose, and Hermione's confusion comes through just as strongly. Your words really pulled me into the characters' individual emotional states. I loved it and I'm so glad I have one more chapter yet to read before I have to wait for an update. :)

This story is deliciously good. I started it about a week and a half ago, and became obsessed with the story by reading it during any free moment I have. Now that I'm at the end, I need more! This story is so deliciously good; and I'm loving your take on Snape/Hermione. I feel like you have stayed very true to who Severus is, and let him grow naturally. Can't wait to read more :)
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
It's delicious? Oh, that so made my day! I've never been called delicious. I am delighted that you're enjoying the story and that you like how I'm typing Seveurs/Hermione. I'm really trying to stay true to who he is and his basic character, because we love his snarky personality, right? Yes, there is more, loads more this is a really long story lol) and I'm typing on chapter 44. lol Thank you very much for reading and for the review.
No! She can't do it, not now that Sev is finally starting to come around. That's an evil cliffie to leave us on, I hope you can update soon.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yes, but unfortunately she doesn't know he is. Sorry about the cliffie! I do do that on occasion. I'll update in a little bit. I promise!

Just lovely! Thanks for the update! I really enjoy this fic!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you very much and I appreciate the support and the stars.
I read the entirety of this story in the space of three hours and fell in love with it in the first ten minutes. I'm eager for the next chapter!I love that Severus isn't turning into a complete marshmellow yet (no matter how cute it is). I always like seeing how he handles his feelings for Hermione, and you do brilliantly at describing how he does it. Priswell needs a swift kick in the arse and a dose of her own "medicine", and I sincerely hope that Severus is the one to give it to her. Muahaha.Anyways, keep up the awsome work and update soon!

, I'm impressed that you read the story up to date so quickly! Thank you for chosing my story. I'm working on proofreading the nexrt chapter and it will be sent off to be beta cleaned shortly. I dont' write wimpy Snape (unless drugged), marshmellow or sappy Snapes! I love Snape as snarky, sneering, scarcastic and dark. Won't change him much. but he will learn how to be in a realtionship when I am through with him.Oh, Priswell, Skeeter, Whitmire will all get theirs! in the end.Thank you very much, and thank you for the review.
Lovely chapter. Nice progress between Severus and Hermione. Interesting twist with the potions and the cave theory. Keep up the beautiful work!! ~Jen
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you very much. Yes, progress, but one that Severus will have to figure out why it's progress - so he doesn't make a mistake later. The caves was fun to dabble in. Thank you for the review, Jen. I'll do my best for you! LOL
my heart is breaking for Hermione. After the last chapter I was mad at my husband, not that our relationship is anything like that of HG\SS but he is still a stupid man, perhaps I am a little to vested in the land of fiction oh well guess the hubby will have to deal with it . You should be proud that your writing can instill such emotion in someone. My only issue with this story that I am also reading repaying a life dept and want both updated quickly (no pressure beggers can't be choosers). Keep up the great work.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
I'm sorry to have made you sad. On the hubby front copy your fav love scenes and suggest role palying? Works with my boyfriend. He loves playing Snape for me! I promise to update as soon as I can. I'm updating my The Enchanted Tower Room (posting it in queue) tonight, and will submit another chapter of Plight next. Okay? I'm really flattered by your kind words. Thank you for the review.

ok dear thank you for your apology in reference to the pope but i am no longer a catholic and i think you handled everything with tact and respect but you are a dear for worrying about your readers what a sweetie you are as for the chapter say it aint so no annulment ans serveus had better stop being a huge git but thta is what i want yuo have spun a womderful tale so far and who am i but a devoted reader as for rita couldnt a house just fall on her or something i kno wwishful thinking on my partthank you for another wonderful chapterhugs and chocolate my dear
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
You are welcome. I didn't know how sensitive someone would be about their beloved Pope. Nope, no annulment yet. But Severus is sure making the decision a bit easier for her. I've thought about a house - and fly paper, roach hotels and such... well see. Thank you for the review.

So far so good on the Hogsmeade weekend. And Severus is really making a good effort to woo Hermione and prove that he can be a worthy mate. Hopefully she will come around soon enough.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yep, this weekend is goign well. He's trying, but missing one little important thing. You'll see. Thank you for reading and for the review.
Seems Severus did not entirely ignore Narcissa's advice and isn't quite as stubborn as he lets on to be. He really should listen to her since she's good at dispensing advice, especially with regards how to treat a woman, being one herself. Nice encounter in the library.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Nope, he's not, but he is used to maintaining pretenses. I'm glad you liked the library encounter. lol Thank you for reading and for the review.
Good girl Hermione and good boy Severus. He finally found the right response to something she did.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yep, he did. Thank you for reading and for the review.
Hermione's another step closer to solving Severus' mystery, but he really shouldn't blame Blume. He should know how hard-headed Hermione is about school work.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yes, she's close to solving the mystery of who's who. No, he shouldn't, except that the partner doing the translation/shield should also be watchign to make sure his/her partner isn't straining and he wasn't. But yes, Severus should blame Hermione, only he's too worried to. Thank you for reading and for the review.
Well, his communication skills still haven't improved all that much, but their relationship seems to be going the right direction. Of course now she is going to be her usual busybody self regarding his great-grandfather, but that could be a good thing, if a little annoying to poor Severus.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yep, he is finally opening up and discussing things. Their relationship is going in the right direction. Hermione has a new 'family' member and considering she's lost hers (for now) she is reaching out to Talfryn. (He doesn't mind at all) and Severus will come to appreciate it. Thank you for reading,
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
, and for the review.
Nice to see that Severus is healed. And now he's learned all about wand lore like Harry and company did. Hopefully they can round up the last of the rogue DEs. I wonder if Hermione is beginning to rethink her decision to return to school - not that she knew what she was going to do anyway.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yep, all better now. Yes, and I think Ollivander was only as open about it as he was because he wanted to help Severus. Hummm, no, I think she wants to finish scholl, it's a major priority for her, one instilled in her by her parents. She'd want her NEWTs. Thank you for reading and for the review.
How sad this chapter was - the end of it really got to me. I wonder what she will do and what Severus will do - this is interesting.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
I'm sorry. but I hope I can swing things back up... wroking on it.

Poor Severus. He would naturally have a curse that would interact with the snake bite. One day he might get his life to himself. And can't wait to see Maggie finally called on her behavior.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
some people never have a life totally theirs who have to take into account someone or others well being/feelings, and are richer for it. Maggie, it will come. I hope you like how I do it. Thank you for reading and for the review.
One wedding down out of three. So the question is, who will be next. And yay for finding a cure for Severus. Good job Hermione
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Did you like Neville's and Luna's Jewish-Irish Catholic wedding? and all the superstitions? Hummm who will be next. You'll have to wait and see. Yep, Hermione saves him. Thank you for reading and for the review.
Response from phoenix (Reviewer)
It was interesting a little jarring. I tend not to think of religion when it comes to the wizarding world since there is so much history of persecution. I do know that cross-denominational weddings can be executed quite beautifully, just like this. The superstitions were perfect for the Lovegood/mum's family.
