Hermione, Ginny and Luna, sharing a girl moment, decide to cast a Pairing-Plight Troth Charm on themselves for fun. Each placed in the cauldron one yesterday-today-and-tomorrow flower with sugar and spice and everything nice, and a snip, a snail and puppy-dog tail as they each said the rhyme. For Ginny, the results are exactly what she expected, and for Luna, she was only mildly surprised. However, for Hermione, the results were disastrous! She thought she’d be paired to Ron and live happily ever after. So what happened and why is she seeing Professor Snape in her dreams? He’s dead – isn’t he?

I love to write. A dreamer, a creator and filled with wonder, imagination and life. Sometimes I get lost in the other worlds I've read and in some I create. It's all good, I’m in good company.

Breathe, Jen, breathe. It'll be fine - eventually. hint: I did check off romance, but Severus is directng this story and he isn't ready yet to face facts and get over his fit. *oops, he read that* Give me some time and I'll bring him around. I hope you enjoy the story as we go along. Thank you again for the review.

In his defense, he's in quite a state of shock. He never expected to be survive the war - and once he did - he never thought to be aquitted and free. Don't worry, things may be a bit rough, but I'll sort it all out before I'm done. Thank you for the review.

Well in all honesty, Ron might not have said anything if he'd not been caught in the elevator, but yes, Rita is sure a fun piece of work, ( and fun to play with.) Thank you for the supportive review.

Oh my! I'm not quite sure what to make of Snape's reaction and I hope the Ministry won't be too hard on him when they find out he's alive and bonded to Hermione. Can't wait to read on! (man, I say that every chapter--I'm quite predictable. LOL)~Jen

Here is where the fun begins! He's going to be a bit angry (Ok, that's an understatement.) He will feel trapped and blame her. and, well... stick with it, it's like a rollercoaster for a while. Thank you for the review. I don't mind in the slightest that you say the same thing. I get a giggle from it cuz I know you mean it. *hugs Jen

Wonderful chapter and writing! I'm kind of surprised Snape hasn't figured out which potion was used yet, but that's most likely part of the plot. Can't wait to read on!~Jen
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you very much , Jen. He's not sure, as he's probably not had a lot of experience with Love Potions - or not really cared much about them before. He's just not sure which one was used. He'll nail it.

That was a wonderful New Years ball! I wonder what Hermione will say when she finds out what sort of establishment Madam Margolyes runs? Thanks for this update! There is a lot going on and lots more to look forward to.Beth
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
I'm delighted that you enjoyed the ball. Oh, you'll see her reaction to -that which Severus had been up to, I promise. lol You are most welcome, Beth, for the update. I'm am always happy to share it, and more is coming.Thank you for reading and for the review.
Wonderful chapter...as always! Can't wait for more! Love where you are taking their relationship. Keep up the wonderful work.

Thank you so very much. I hope you enjoy the rest of it as well. Thank you for reading and for the review.
I was so happy to see more of this story, now that I have returned from vacationing and staying with my family. Thanks for these chapters! I'm always happy to see another chapter of this! Severus better get his butt in gear, eh? before Hermione has a chance to get those papers in to dear Maggie. Although I suppose that it might not be a bad thing if they separated and waited a while until they were both ready to accept the idea of giving their relationship a chance. And removing Hermione from the ranks of students would be a help. Ah, but young people in love don't want to wait a year or more.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yep, Severus needs to make a move. I did need to do something to make them reevaluate the relationship, and switch wands on them so to speak. Thank you for the review.

~head spins~ Where do you come up with all of this complex stuff?! The discussions about the potions, wand cores' effects on spells, etc., are totally convincing.Your description of the Bedydrian Curse sounds like some form of written dyslexia. I don't recall "Bedydrian" in canon. (Of course, I'm no canon expert.) How did you come up with it?Just love Ginny being able to fearlessly and confidently smile Severus down. And the rest... Well, ah!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Gosh, you should see what I come up with for table center pieces! lol I just think them up.My magic stuff = my imagination or I look them up sometimes, but when I use history or actual stuff I try to remember to post the link. Spells =I use a online Latin Dictionary and just pick the word that is closest to what I want. (I don't always pick the right one, I've had comments on my choices.)Bugs/plants = I love using real oddities or I make them up. lol The Bedydrain Curse is all my own making, (not canon) and it's a curse that distorts what's written so it can't be read. bedydrian = It's old English for: corrupter, deceiver, to hide, to conceal from. I'm glad that you like Ginny in htis, she wasn't shown much in canon exceot that she's strong and has a thing for Harry, so I added more. I'm delighted that it works. Thank you for reading and for the review.
There is so much to like here. I think that the men totally underestimate Hemione and her skills, but in their defense, I think she underestimates how dangerous these experiments can be. There is going to have to be some compromise. I like that Ginny always seems to be able to difuse situations and also has a way of getting what she wants from everyone. The end is just lovely. For obvious reasons such as his reading to her in that sexy voice and them making love in such wonderful fashion, but mostly because they are finally at a point in their relationship where they can have a disagreement and instead of one of them sulking for days and causing trouble, they got right back on the horse and carried on with their relationship. They are going to fight for the rest of their lives. That they recognize it for what it is, is a promising development. I'm feeling hopeful that they just might make it afterall. Now if he can just let her be a student. It is hard for him, but it isn't personal and it won't last forever.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
I know in canon that Hermione sometimes is written as Superwitch. In this story she, although very capable and strong, can and dose struggle with learning to do the spells somewhat and she’s fallible. As for Potions, both men do understand her level of ability, but she’s been told so many times how wonderful she is, she hates it that they can see her objectively. Hermione’s greatest strength is her mind, having a photogenic memory, a willingness to try and her tenacity.
Ginny grew up in a large family with five brothers in the house. (well, Bill might have been at Hogwarts by then, huh?) and had to deal with fights erupting between the twins and Percy or the twins and Ron or between Ron and Percy… she learned how to diffuse situations and get what she wanted.
I’m so glad that you liked the end. As I’ve said, if Severus had been accepting of being her ‘boyfriend’ and letting her have her year ‘as a student’ then married her, she would have been much more accepting – however he’s not 18. He is at the point where he wants his wife with him.
If Hermione could have accepted the fact that she is ‘married’ and not going to have a normal year, that he sees her education, attending lessons, akin to her ‘going to work’ – but she’s only 18 and not 38. She wants normal so desperately and is so used to getting her way that they butt heads. However, yes, Severus is the one to see that they will have fights and disagreements all their lives and his ready for it, she was hesitant then thankful he wasn’t going to carry a grudge. However, that alone is huge progress between them. They still lack real communication.
Thank you for your thoughtful review. I do really enjoy reading your opinions.
Oh, this was LOVELY. I wonder if she'll put it together that Severus's objections are solely based on the fact that he doesn't want her to get hurt? I mean, you can hear his concern oozing from every word! Oh... and the scene in his rooms, at the end? Guh! Supa-hot! ;)
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
I'm delighted that you enjoyed it. Yes, his protests will sink in, but right now Hermione's feelings are ruffled/hurt, her stubborness to 'prove herself' has been kicked up and so she's not listening to what she's hearing. happens. Thank you for the review. It will work out.
I'm so glad Hermione is finally giving him some of what he wants. And she is really enjoying it too. She is still pig-headed about living in the dorm, but she is so young and needs her friends for support. She is torn between being a student and a wife. I guess that's understandable, but... I'm sure she'll come around eventually.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
That's just it! You're right. SHE desperately wants to just be a student, to have the support of friends, focus on her studies and get teh best possible marks, and revision time with her friends, and she isn't ready to be a wife yet. If Severus could've been happy with 'boyfriend' for a year instead of wanting his wife with him, things would develope smoother, but he's insistant, pushing for what he wants. Not that I blame him, it's jsut they are not in sync yet. I'm working on that. lol Thank you for readign and for the review.
I love that he has degrees which he considers victory with Hermione.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yes, well, he's still wanting it all, so although this is a postive step forward to him, it's not meeting his goal. We're working on that. lol Thankyou for reading and for the review.
The plot is interesting and gets better. Snape is great, though the romance is tedious (to put it mildly). I have a hard time enduring a naive, blind and incompetent Hermione.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Thank you. Hate to brust you bubble - she doesn't know everything. If if isn't in a book... and it's easier to critque someone else than yourself at times. But thank you for the review.
Now, can he please come out of hiding and talk to her?? I'm getting restless here!! Lovely chapter!gab

Oh, dear. Severus is never going to let Hermione leave the castle again. At least he didn't give her too much grief. After all, it isn't like she sneaked off on her own. She went with a group of his colleagues.I like that she is becoming more conforable with their physical relationship, and that he is giving her some space in that realm.Off to read the next chapter ...
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
LOL well, at least not without a full unit of Aurors. No, because she didn't slip away without at least someone to protect her. She is becoming more comfortable with him and the intimacy, and it took long enough. Still have a bit to go though, and ... they will come around. Thank you for reading and for the review.

Finally! Glad to see it all went so smoothly. I only hope that once the afterglow fades that Hermione doesn't regret it.Looking forward to seeing what happens next!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Plight-Trothed Bride)
Yes, it did, finally.teehehehe All she wanted was three little words, those three little words that guys find so hard to say! Nope, I don't plan on regrets, a few other twists, but no regrets. Besides, there is that bloody Médousa Potion problem to solve (making four of them famous!) and those renegade Death Eaters, they will make a showing, (Dragen especially – he has something nasty planned) and such. But I have things moving along as I wanted them to (I'm several chapters ahead of you at this point. *shakes head* It’s turned out to be quite a long story, and I'm still having fun with them. And the Malfoy's party - Viktor Krum, Konrad Vondran, and Kazimir Maschke III will be there – friends of Hermione’s (and she’s been writing to them, helping them with their English), and Baltazar and Bartholommeo Gonçalves from Portugal – they will be at the Malfoy’s party and the Portuguese brother’s want to meet Hermione… the witch who rode a dragonshould be fun. Sorry for the spoilers, but that’s what’s coming up. Thank you for reading and for the review.
Response from Jinxie (Reviewer)
He he he. Three little words can do the trick.Wow, that's not a lot to take in at all. As long as you've got it all straight in your head, that's all that matters. Though, its not to say I do look forward to seeing the new characters in action!
