Hermione finds a mysterious piece of self-writing parchment in Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes that writes: Tell me your deepest desire. Thinking it’s a trick, she says, “I wish to see my soul mate?” and she suddenly finds herself at Severus’ feet.

Thank you. I was worried that this chapter would bore readers to tears! Up next – Hermione’s face to face with Voldemort again, without the aid of Snape’s Imperius Curse.

how interesting... i've got alot to ponder now...
i've been waiting for updates at ashwinder and finally thought to come over here and check and found all these new chapters! yippeee! so here i am staying up too late on a work night to catch up. honestly, this story is rather agonizing, but i don't mean that in a bad way. i am completely caught up in the drama, and trauma, and DYING to know what happens next, and worried for all these characters (even draco - but not the RAT of course!). you are writing a very compelling story here!

I’m sorry that SH is taking longer to post my chapters, but TPP had a head start as it was a Potter_Place Challenge fic and I had several chapters in here before I started there. 
I’m very glad that you are enjoying this story, even if it’s keeping you up late. 
But I have to say I appreciate the compliment!
I have few more chapters written and I'm working with my beta, Southern_Witch_69, who’s been so great, so I will update as soon as I can. And I do have more of the story in draft and outlined… But I really do appreciate the support. 
I really don't understand Draco. How would Hermione really know how she was rescued. The poor thing.

There is only six years of animosity between Hermione and Draco, (pretty much since day one), all the pureblood mantra he was brought up with, and now they’re living together – sort of. They both have to break down the barriers and try if there is to be a friendship. That won’t happen overnight. I’ll get them around it eventually…

Thank you. I didn’t think it fair to use Latin and not have the translations. So I do that on all my stories.I’m pleased that you are enjoying my story.
Another interesting chapter. I enjoyed geting some of Snape's thoughts. Though not super enlightening, they did provide some insight. I can't wait for more!

Well I've always thought Severus as the sly type who is able to manipualtet things and people to get what needs done acomplished. And he knows Draco soo well.Don't worry about my dropping this - I've written several more chapters and just going through the process. Next chap is with my beta now.
Poor Severus. He really can't believe some one would like him for himself!I can't wait to find out what is up with Draco.Please don't give up on this story. I really, really love it!

Well, yeah! He's used to being with people who use him, try to control him and he's used to manipulating people and sistations. This is one situation he's struggling to control...Draco and Hermione have a lot of 'dirty water under the bridge' - so to speak. But basically I never thought him a bad guy, just raised with too many prejudices. Nah, thanks to Southern_Witch's encouragement I'm carrying on and really enjoying writting this fic... There's much more.

I love the premise and as the story got to the bottom, I thought I'd seen some of it before and then I read your authors note. I hope this won't be too much likie Traitor by avery. I really loathed it and that horrid snape characterization. I will look a little further and hope not to be disappointed

Please have patience and read up to Chapter 4 before you judge... I admit that Traitor influenced me greatly and there are a few things that really carried and fit when I first imagined this story... Look for the hints, the subtle changes in the interactons. It will not happen over night - but this is a romance (SS/HG) and friendship (DM/HG) story - but these three have a lot of history behind them that has to be overcome and worked out.
There were some typos and things that I should have noted down through the past few chapters and couldn't in the rush to read as much of this as possible. You have a riveting story; I can't wait to see what you post next.

You know, I went hunting (v.briefly) this morning and couldn't find them. I may have had your story and another mixed up, I'm not sure. I wouldn't confuse the plots, although both are very good, but I read them back to back and by the end I'd already been up waaaaay past my bed time. I will take another run through when I've had more sleep and email you if I find what I thought I'd found. My sincerest apologies about this. If it's any consolation, it was worth staying up for.

Like the bits of caring that sneak past Snape's DE persona, and that Hermione realized she's jealous of Draco's apprenticeship regardless of her treatment. 
Wonders if Narcissa thinks she has a reason to dislike Hermione besides the blood issue... it seemed like there was more to her anger than just that.

And to think I toned it down some during my rewrites!This is a low before things go up, although it isn't smooth sailing yet. We are talking about a SS/HG romance...
I'm curious to see how the rest of this plays out. I do hope there are some ss/hg scenes coming up soon. Good so far:)

I'm assuming Hermione's having a miscariage which would be just as well in this case. Wondering what the deal is with Draco and although I like to think better of him (I know it's a stretch at times) I can't help but wonder if his actually allowed Wormtail access to her - horrid thought. Hopefully Wormtail feels Snape's wrath.Looking forward to the next.
