Hermione finds a mysterious piece of self-writing parchment in Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes that writes: Tell me your deepest desire. Thinking it’s a trick, she says, “I wish to see my soul mate?” and she suddenly finds herself at Severus’ feet.

This was a truly exciting scene! I'm so glad Ron is being mature and level-headed, as a much-needed balance to emo!Harry. Also am glad that Tonks listened to Severus. I am looking forward with glee to see Belinda and Bellatrix get punished by Voldy. Muahaha!! Thank you for updating.PS - snow boots and jackets for house-elves!

I'm so glad that you liked it. I wanted Ron to have grown up some unlike he was in canon ( I hated how immature he was in canon) emoHarry - locket = normal Harry. Severus has been in contact with Tonks a few times (warnings) and so she's not as suspecious of him as the others. Oh, you'll see the Dark Lord, Belinda and Bellatrix in the next one. Ho Ho! Brilliant chapter. I love the development of Hermione's understanding of Cilian's character, and also how Draco is starting to question his pre-determined path. The idea that the Death Eaters would be jealous that Hermione has been marked or Marked (lol!) by the Dark Lord is very well done as was the growing sense of panic that Hermione feels as the dance continues when she realises that those who attacked her were all there watching her! Great work, as ever!!

Thank you very much. Yes, she’s spent enough time around Cillian to get to know him a bit. and yep, the foundation of Draco’s youth is crumbling beneath him and he’s now having to think for himself. Scary place to be. Hermione once given to the Death Eater’s as a ‘play thing’ is now marked as His, and all those who were there before are here now to witness her branding. I know this story is dark at times, but thank you so much for reading and for the review. Hugs.

I didn’t mean to end with a cliffie, but I ran out of parchment and had to start a new sheet!
