Hermione finds a mysterious piece of self-writing parchment in Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes that writes: Tell me your deepest desire. Thinking it’s a trick, she says, “I wish to see my soul mate?” and she suddenly finds herself at Severus’ feet.

I love to write. A dreamer, a creator and filled with wonder, imagination and life. Sometimes I get lost in the other worlds I've read and in some I create. It's all good, I’m in good company.
“Imagination does not become great until human beings, given the courage and the strength, use it to create.”― Maria Montessori
“Our imagination flies -- we are its shadow on the earth.”― Vladimir Nabokov
“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions.”― Albert Einstein
“Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were, but without it we go nowhere.” ― Carl Sagan

As always Bea a delight to read. Great to see some candid interaction between Cillian and Hermione. The house on Derwent Water looks magnificent. Our season in the Lakes starts in March to Coniston but a trip to Keswick is always welcome and so I'll look out for it. Well done. Best wishes, Love Ali xxxx

All I can say is wow! I started reading this story a couple of days ago and I flew threw it. It is so well written. I love all of your plot twists and I really like your portrayal of Severus, Draco, and Cillian. I can't wait to read what happens next! I'm curious as to how Hermione will evade punishment/death from the Dark Lord, if (or when?) she is brought before him. It's really interesting to see that his plan with Hermione is working. Poor Harry. Anways, thanks for writing this wonderful story!

Can't Dobby find Harry and then give Harry the sword? I'm glad the good guys are all safe, and glad Severus was able to speak with Dobby and Peren. Hmm, I wonder if house-elves that do magic are detectable by Snatchers...Thanks for updating!!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Yes, Dobby could, except that Harry or Ron would need to call Dobby for Dobby to go to him. However, Dobby also serves the school, as a free elf. Dobby wasn't trustful of Severus not to harm Harry, so he would have been very reluctant to help Severus with any task involving Harry. Peren knows Severus much better than Dobby does, since she serves in the Headmaster's tower and is privy to many secrets, including Severus' conversatoins with Dumbledore's painting, and Floo calls. (I dont' show you everything, but Severus is sending out warnings to Tonks/Arthur/Kingsley on occaasion.) Peren volunteers to go, If Hermione calls for her. (However, Peren took liberty to 'think she was being summoned' when Hermione simply said Peren's name. as in - 'you called master' - no?) And yes, Just like when Harry was blamed for Dobby's Hoovering Charm, Snatchers can detect elf-magic - only they would think it's wizard magic if the spells are compatable.

I really can't blame Harry for being suspicious, if I where in his shoes I'd be too. Thanks for the update, this is one of my all time favorites that I check for daily.

I don't know what else could happen to Hermione, but I hope she can keep it together. With Harry telling her she should just go back to You-Know-Who, and Ron and Harry disagreeing so much about Dumbledore and whether he had set Harry up... well, I think she's bound to feel utterly adrift. It's fun to read your depiction of Ron. Here he is mature, methodical, and sure of himself. I hate to think of what would have happened to Harry by now if he hadn't had Ron with him.I can understand Harry's adament refusal to accept Ron's theory about Dumbledore. For the longest time, Dumbledore was the main adult Harry felt could rely on. It would feel like the final betrayal if he were to entertain any part of Ron's idea. Not that I think Ron is wrong, but I don't think he's all right either. Somewhere in the middle lies the truth. I wonder if even Severus knows all the truth.Ron seems to be the only one who really wants her around, and she can't go back to the Manor. What on earth is she going to do? If it were me, I think I'd try to sneak back into Hogwarts. But if things are a closed down there, as they seem to be, she'd probably just get caught and sent to the Dark Lord. Please, Severus, find your Hermione before something terrible happens to herThanks for another wonderful update!Beth
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Oh I think I can come up with something. Oh wait until next chapter - Harry is really... oops. Yes, I'm sure that she could, but the others are as accepting as Ron. Yes, i wanted Ron to have grown up and mature a bit, I always hated how he didn't grow up in the books. You are totally correct about your reasoning regearding Harry's attitured about Ron's theory. It's just a theory. Don't worry, I have things worked out for Hermione, just as I do for Severus. Thank you for reading and for the review.
What a cliffhanger! I hope they are able to find her, and that Belinda gets what is coming to her!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Oh she will. Sorry about the cliffie, but I've a cahpter that should clear queue - I fixed my admin corrections - and you'll see ... well, you'll see what happens next. lol Thank you for reading and for the review.
Without Severus to protect me, they can do whatever they want… the Dark Lord will certainly kill me now, and the Death Eaters are getting closer!Hermione stood and Disapparated to the next place she thought of.Malfoy dungeons? Grimmauld Place? Hagrid's hut? Spinners End? The Headmaster's office or bedroom in Hogwarts? The Shrieking Shack? Peren's bedroom? This was a helluva place to run out of parchment! LOL! I do believe this is one of your most ebil cliffies, Bea. I do hope we get to see both the Bels get their comeuppance. It would be fitting if Severus Crucioed the heck out of both of them before the Dark Lord tortured them within an inch of their lives and then sent them to the Malfoy dungeons.I am really looking forward to the next updates for all three of your WIPs!!!Beth
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
This was a helluva place to run out of parchment! Oh man, Beth, I absloutely love you! I'm sorry about the cliffie, and Yes, I have the next one ready for submission. I love your location list of possible, and quite logical, places where she could go, but I think I will surprise you. Remeber she is still under Belinda's Inception Spell notion that she is in grave danger... and seeing the Death Eaters moving in on her, Rommald Jugson, Antonin Dolohov, and Thorfinn Rowle – three wizards Belinda knew hated the Mudblood & Coughtery deFay and Swithin Wroithesley, she instantly recognized as faces from her nightmares of the night she’d been trapped into all this. so she's still not thinking clearly. Thank you for reading, the warm chuckle you've given me this morning, and for the review. really, Thank you. Hugs.
Wow. Such a powerful chapter. Reality check for Draco and he realises how trapped he is and we know for certain that Cilian isn't ready to turn on the Dark Lord yet.
What will this mark spell for Hermione? Looking forward to seeing what happens next and to seeing what the mark is!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Thank you very much. Yep, Draco is having epiphanies. Cillian, do you really think so? Oh the Mark, or is it mark, you'll find out soon. Thank you for reading and for the review.
How chilling! I really fear for Hermione now. I have a feeling that her mark is not like the others. Voldemort will no doubt have plans for her that do not include the others. He will summon her at unexpected times to God knows what end! And there will be nothing that Severus can do about it. This really complicates things! Will he experiment on her as he is doing with the others in the dungeons? I anxiously await your next installment, although I have a feeling it will take quite a few more installments to resolve this.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Oh, yes, that Mark, er, mark... Oh, Voldemort has plans for her, but think/remember He knows that he can give Harry visions... oops. No, there is nothing that Seveurs can do about it, but then again, she can't Apparate from Hogwarts without him or Cillian. It will take a few but I think you'll like what is coming up, or not... Thank you for the review.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)

Voldy marked Hermione!! Oh, my.... I wonder what her Mark looks like. She must realize that Severus didn't know. I wonder if Draco will ask his mother about what he saw downstairs, and if Cissa actually knows the truth. Yikes.... those affianced girls may have a very horrid future ahead of them....Too bad Hermione didn't ask the elf to alter her wedding robes to cover up the back. Well, Severus gave her a bit more protection with the earrings, and I assume he will stick with her closely. Plus Voldy has Marked her as his. No idea what Bellatrix and the other DE ladies will think of that.I'm reeling by everything in this chapter, esp that downstairs part. Mengele is indeed an appropriate name. Yikes! Thanks for updating.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
You willl get to see more of the mark in the next chapter. and so things will be made a bit more clear as mud too. Draco will talk to both Cissa and Severus about what he saw. Actually, Severus likes the robes, it's jsut he's a private man and possessive and doesn't like the 'lower class' of Death Eaters oggling her backside. jealous maybe? Yep, he dungeons, sure gave Draco a epiphany. I'm glasd that you cought my reference using Mengele. sigh. Thank you for reading and for the review.
That was really a brilliant chapter. Oh, poor Hermione, marked.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Thank you very much. Yep, branded, Marked, or is just marked?
I must say that I am really aghast off what horror or pain Voldy can put on Hermione whith that mark. I wonder if she will belive that Severus didn t know anything about it .I finally got it . You just say it - Nimphadora Tonks - she is the conection whith the order . Am I rght ? I am glad that Draco is finaly coming to see the thruth , but it is a hard way for him .I realy hope that antil the end Hermione won t suffer a loth of pain .Best regard from Lora.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Oooh that Mark , er, mark, if it's a Dark Mark that he, or is it? Voldemort knows that he can use his connection to Harry to 'get to' the boy, unhinge him, make him go chasing shadows... Yes, Hermione will know, if she doesn't now. Did you? Even after the Splinching chapter? Yes, that is one change that Hermione being at the castle WITH Severus has done. Even a staff memeber(s) can see how he's protecting her, and the others, (Someting JKR didn't realize she'd done in the books - detentions with Hagrid, indeed. imho) But is Tonks the only one? Lupin isn't, btw. Draco has YEARS and years of pre-taught prejudices and lies to break through, This wasn't going to be easy on him, and his epiphanies are the result. He's being chipped away at little bit, hunk, and rock at a time. poor thing. There will be some pain, here and there, but not possibly the sort or from what you mean. You'll see. Thank you for the review.
Nice touch wearing the wedding robes. :)
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Thank you very much.
This isn't good in any way, shape or form. Hermione's Marking or Draco's epiphanies. This whole game just stepped from dangerous to dire.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
It's a horrible war. Winston Churchill's Battle of Britain speech : "If we fail, the world will go down into a new Dark Age, made more sinister, and perhaps more prolonged, by the lights of a perverted science" really sums it up. Hermione’s Mark, er or is it mark… you’ll see. And yes, Draco is having epiphanies. lol Thank you for reading and for the review.
Wow. Just WOW! I've been playing catch up on the last three chapters, and I'm blown away by everything that's happened.I don't know how Severus keeps from crumbling under the stress he must be feeling. It's one of the things about his character that has always appealed to me. Fierce, strong, steadfast, and determined... even if he does get a little insecure and pissy once in a while. And Hermione, it goes without saying, is one cool cookie herself. Yes, she does worry about Severus and her friends, and she does take chances, and she worries herself sick, but in her own way she is just as fierce, strong, steadfast, and determined as Severus.Great story, Bea! Now I'm off to try to catch up on The Plight-Trothed Bride and Consequences of Meddling with Time.Beth
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Yes, quite a bit has been going on. Severus keeps it all tighly controlled because he's fierce, strong, steadfast and determined, and he gave his word. To protect the students. Yes, but Hermione is aslo shoving things down inside, dealing with what she has to, but life will throw her a loop soon. I'm delighted that you are enjoying the story. Thank you for sticking with me and for the review. Hugs.
Oooh the holes keep getting deeper and deeper. And now I've run out of updates. <proceeds to beg, plead and cry for more>So much going on, so much I want answers to. And a fancy dress party too!Keep up the good work. May life throw no obstacles in you or your betas way, may the Muse prove generous, and may we readers get updates quick and often.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
OH NO! Holes? lol yep, showing you more of what's really happening in a Voldemort run world. There is more, I'm about to submit chap 31!Yep, so much going on and so much more for you to find out ( and not all of it good! ) Yes, a very fancy dress party - the Dark Lord's party!I'll do my best. Thank you for reading and for the review.
<wipes tear away> I always loved Fred & George's swamp. So glad to see it make a reappearance. I'm surprised the Carrows didn't jump at the option of having Filch punt the students across to the classroom.I'm up for Draco being the one doing all of this. It's a twofer for him--he gets to act out against something he's been forced into and is maybe having 2nd thoughts about and he gets Gryffindors in trouble. What's not to love?
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Yeah, I loved that swamp, too. What better way to block Alecto's classroom. lol I'm sure that Filch did have to punt the students to her leassons. Hummm Draco? Are you sure? Right house, wrong guy. sorry. Not this time. Draco hasn't really been this normal bullying self in this fic, he has loads of other concerns on his mind. Thank you for readign and for the review.
Well I really got ticked off several times in this chapter so that's a good thing. I was ready to grab my non-existent wand and start hexing me some Death Eater teachers. Keep up the great work.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
I feel like that occasionally myself when I read - and I'm flattered that you got into the story so well as to want to zap them. lol I'll do my best to keep it up.Thank you for reading and for the review.
Loving the story, can't wait for the next chapter. Thank you x
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Thank you very much. Oh, there's more, plenty more. Thank you for reading, the lovely stars and the review. Hugs
Thanks for updating Bea. I've just caught up with the last two chapters and they were awesome. Poor Severus is having a hell of a time trying to protect the students and Hermione. Here's hoping that Cillian truly comes on board and proves to be as much of a hero as Sev in the long run. Best wishes, Love Ali xxxx.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
You are most welcome Ali! How are things?Yep, he has his hands full and it's amazing he's sane. Oh, I have plans for Cillian. lol Not to tease, but... I'm working on chapters 35-36 right now. Between the time in the story from where you’ve let off to where I am, you’ll learn something, read something, that is a huge twist from canon. Also two HUGE events happen. Both with big consequences for Hermione, which will open things up for three more huge events, and then a merge of some of those loose subplots. And this ‘read something’ changes so much, but also gives a timeline of events. My best to you and yours. Hugs, bea~
Great update :) I really am enjoying this story and can't wait for more!!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
