Hermione finds a mysterious piece of self-writing parchment in Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes that writes: Tell me your deepest desire. Thinking it’s a trick, she says, “I wish to see my soul mate?” and she suddenly finds herself at Severus’ feet.

Considering that he's kept the relationship unequal, how can he really expect her to initiate anything. I really liked all the detail in that chapter.

Too true. But he's still afraid that she'll slip up the next time the Dakr Lord wants to see her, and he'll see something Severus wants kept quiet. Still, you know men.Thank you very much for sticking this out with me and for the stars.

Oh, they were good chills. Severus grabbing Hermione's arm was one. It was easy to see he wanted her out of the range of fire and it was kind of sexy too. 
this is an excellent story!I am a bit concerned about hermione's reactions to her unfortunate incidents and snapes temper. I say concerned because she seems a bit too compliant, like a little ewe amongst a whole pack of sheep dogs. it just strikes me as odd that she'd be so docile when, in her rooms with snape she could very easily give vent and anger to her problems and such, which snape would rationalize is his duty as a husband to put up with mione's temper... lol i dunno...just seemed a little off to me.thanks for writing! can't wait to read more!

Thank you. In as much as Hermione has grown to knw him, he's still her porfessor and now Headmanster. Even though she is living with him, he's keeping a distance between them. Hermioe feels very much alone with only Ginny to confide in, and she knows that she has to keep her head down. In essance, she is a ewe amongst a pack of wolves, and they have knives!Things will only esculate and with that will come rebellion. Christmas - Luna leaves, Easter - Ginny and... there is some following of canon here, a little.Thank you for reviewing, I'm glad that you are still with me on this tale.
I *absolutely loved* Hermione's stories of underage magic!And poor Draco! At least he's trying! But Hermione really needs a swift kick in the arse.

I really liked this chapter! I especially loved the semi-lightheartedness of the shopping trip and Cillian's and Draco's reactions to Hermione's wedding robes. Fantastic job!!~Jen

Wow, what a loaded chapter! I wish Hermione would give Severus a little break, I mean he is trying to save her life here. I do understand her side though and it's quite realistic; even though I really just want them to get together already! LOL! Wonderful chapter. ~Jen

Man, how cruel is that...being able to get out of the house only to see your friends and have your captor put you under the Imperius curse. Wonderful chapter! I think Hermione's starting to develop a bit of an interest in Severus.~Jen

I know! BUt he can't let her go at this point without really endangering both himslef and her. At least, I hope, Remus recognized the effects of the Imperius and will calm down Harry and Ron. In regards to Hermione, there is the reliance and dependancy factor she's feeling. It's not really recognized as an attraction yet, but the roots are starting - for both of them. Well I'm glad Snape was able to help her out and I loved what you had him do to Wormtail. I kind of figured Hermione was pregnant after the mention of her missed period and the dizziness. This story is very intriguing...great job!~Jen

hey, the idea with the charms club is brilliant.and the scene with the fainting -cake? biscuite? was funny. but what to do next time. they can't always knock Cillian out.At least she had time to talk to McGonagall. what is this business of Snape which he isnt inclined to share with Hermione.Her position is so undesirabe. And how about the two boys wandering around. Will we hear about them?

You'll see what Severus has been dealing with soon. Personally, I don't eveny the guy. Dumbledore never had it this bad...The guys are in hiding nad no one knows. As soon as the girls figure out how to communicate better than the coins, you'll find out more. It's not good. The brains of the trio is at Hogwarts! But eventualy you'll see bits and pieces, either through Severus or Hermione's POV.

Professor Snape is her soulmate? COOL!Bummer about her being tortured and raped and such, but it was good of Snape to have promised her that she wouldn't remember any of that trauma.I hope that things WILL work out between the two of them. I'm a sucker for happy endings.Great first chapter!

this was a very thorough update, and yes, now we do know what is on Snapes mind. he is very much torn between the front lines.dangerous times at Hogwarts school. not Dolores again, waaah.A very trying Occlumency lesson, and teaching some news, both for him and for her. Is it soothing her to know that the dark lord is just playing with her? cruel games by a cruel master.At least he is trying to help her. and he wishes his Hermione to live her life as she dreams after the war. that is something to live for, isn't it.

Thank you very much. Yes, I tried to give a little bit here. I didnt' want her to simply have it down the first go. But yes, when he uses Legilimency on her - he sees a lot about her. When this is all over, he still expects that she will leave him, or is Voldemort wins - she will be killed. we'll see... and yes, Voldemort is not a nice guy - he uses, manipulates and twists things ot get devotion.
Thank You for this update because I have awaited anxious and have great expectation .The chapter is full of informations about Severus manner but I would really like to know who is Belladona .I recoil that other female beside Belatrix was Belinda (Cilian sister).Hermione hold her self rarely well,strong but I wonder what will occur when her big break down will come.She has so much hard time ahead of her before the end.I would really like to know also how Hary and Ron are doing and if they have detect other horcroux.

Thank you for pointing that out! It's an error and I've fixed it. She is Belinda, (I used Belladona in a one-shsot and the names mixed up.) Thank you so much for bringing that to my attention. I'm so sorry for the confusion. So far, Hermione is holding on all right. Yes, things are rough, but they will get tougher, I'm afraid. We have no word from Harry or Ron as of yet - later. That will come, but later.Thank you again for your help with my mistake and I really appreciate the review.
