Hermione finds a mysterious piece of self-writing parchment in Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes that writes: Tell me your deepest desire. Thinking it’s a trick, she says, “I wish to see my soul mate?” and she suddenly finds herself at Severus’ feet.

I love to write. A dreamer, a creator and filled with wonder, imagination and life. Sometimes I get lost in the other worlds I've read and in some I create. It's all good, I’m in good company.
“Imagination does not become great until human beings, given the courage and the strength, use it to create.”― Maria Montessori
“Our imagination flies -- we are its shadow on the earth.”― Vladimir Nabokov
“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions.”― Albert Einstein
“Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were, but without it we go nowhere.” ― Carl Sagan

Good ending, excellent writing. Hate for it to end there now I have to wait
:( Excellent story kind of nice to see what was going on at Hogwarts while Harry and Ron were off doing their thing.

Thank you, kimjo. You are most welcome.
Ok now we know and he knows. Do not want to think of him giving her her freedom once its done. Hope they will be able to find their way to eachother afterwards. Good job,
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Yes, now he knows. Quite an eye opener for him too. He still thinks he'll have to, but we'll see. That's a year away, isn't it?"Thank you for reading and the review. Hugs~
Another good chapter, I wonder how much trouble shes' going to get in. Makes me cringe. Does Severus care for her so much now that he fears for her safety and wonder if he will be able to save her.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Thank you very much. Oh, the trouble hasn't really begun. and yes. Thank you for the review, doll.
Another good chapter, I forgot to check if the story was complete before I started. Will hate waiting for more if its not LOL
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Thank you very much. Oh, doll, it's one of my WIP's. But I swear to you I will not abandon this one. Hugs~
Getting more interesting, Like the need Severus has for Hermione.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Yes, it's going to be a bumpy ride. Yes, his feeling for her have grown deeper. Thank you for the review.
Visially and amazing wedding decoration. I liked this chapter very much only frustrated with ehr inability to tell him why she was so freaked after. Really an awesome chapter.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Thank you very much. My first attempt at a banner. She was simply too shaken to talk about it, but he'll find out. Thank you for the review.
Wow those were some tense scenes. Amazing work, thanks for the rollercoaster ride. Its now 1:49 am I best get to bed. Hate to leave the story right now :(
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
I know. I owe a big thanks to SW69 who helped me get through this one. I intended to splinch her in half - literally, and combine my medical background with what is known in canon. It was a tough one, but I'm really pleased with the results. I hope it wasn't too gory for you.Good night, and thank you for the review.
Another fascinating Chapter. Gads That girl is stuborn. She can have that sexy man and she fights him LOL.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Thank you vey much. Yes, she can, but under the circumstances of her situation, she is still a prisioner, captive and feels like one. Hard not to fight that. Thank you for the review, doll.
Sigh finally, i quite enjoyed that. Really like hearing their thoughts. Great job.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Thank you. Yes, a bit of insight and you see more. LOLThank you very much for the review.
I liked this one very much. Little more personal interaction with Draco was good. Like the thoughts of Snape
as well.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Thank you. Yes, Draco has a role to do and he's doing his best. LOLSeverus is taking his role as protector again, but she is intriguing to him. Thank you for the review, doll.
Couldn't resist another one but I really got ot go to bed LOL. Till tomorrow sigh. Really enjoyed that oone too :).
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
I've done that too. I'm glad you liked it. Good night.
Another good chapter, some interesting interactions
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Thank you. Yes, the interactions are interesting. I'm glad you are enjoying this one. Thank you for the review.
Very well written, hard subjects to deal with and you've done an amzing job.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Thank you very much. Yes, these are the tough chapters, things are pretty ahrd on Hermione. I'm glad that it wasn't so difficult to get through. Hope you enjoy the rest of the story. Thank you so much for the review.
Love the new chapter!!!
I'm wondering if we are eventually gonna find out more about the night in the glade. Not to be perverse, but Snape said in a previous chapter that there is something Hermione saw that night that is important and she needs to put the pieces together. So far I see hints of what happened (personally I wouldn't want to remember that either) but nothing of substance that I term "important." Did I miss something or is it on the way?
btw, I HATE those Carrow creeps. Talk about bad DNA! Inbreeding at it's best I guess...
Can't wait for more! I reread the whole story just to catch up and it still rocks!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Yes, there is, but no the memory of what happened to her will not be 'remembered' or 'seen' because I don't want to type rape, beatings, torture, and all that. But yes, what she saw will come up, much later. No you didn't miss anything. You're supposed to hate the Carrows, like Cillian, be wary of Blinda, and question Draco's motives and a few others I've introduced you to.I'm glad that you enjoyed it a second time through. That's a real compliment. thank you. Thank you so much for the review.
So, when do we find out that Snape is Cillian's father?I'm glad you are updating this, especially now that it feels like action is imminent!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
They are only about 5 years apart in age! ooops. Oh, things are moving forward, but I had to set up a lot in order to get where I want to go. You have a load of clues on what I'm going to do now. I am still typing away on this fic. It's my baby and I'm really working at making it how I want it to be. I'm glad that you like it so far.

Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Cillian was in fifth-year when Severus started teaching. He was a prefect, and thought Severus was cool, although naive when it came to girls... so he'd decided they were going to be friends. Severus was trying to exert his authority as the new professor of Potions and Head of House, and here's this kid (who knew him before, sort of. Cillian started Hogwats in 1976 approx, Severus graduated in 1978 and started teaching in 1980) that liked to hang out in his office. Eventually, they did become friends... Cillian helping Severus fend off the Slytherin girls who looked at him as a wizard who could get them things/somewhere - and Severus helping Cillian... (chapters 10 &14 give clues)Cillian and Severus will eventually fill in more, once they know they can trust their secrets to Hermione. 1. Occlumancy. 2. earn the trust.
Response from kallonista (Reviewer)
Thanks for the info. I went back and did some rereading and feel a bit foolish. I have absolutely no idea why I was convinced that they were related somehow. Sorry about the confusion.
Hurray, so excited to see this updated. I re-read the whole story, to catch up, and liked it even better the second time around. I'm wondering about Severus methods of trying to teach her to close her mind, by using fear and intimidation it just makes her more tense and frightened. Maybe he needs to come at it from a different angle somehow. Can't wait for more updates. I love this story.Maggie
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Oh my goash, that's so cool to know! Thank you, what a compliment. It's two fold; he knows she's going to face the Dark Lord again, and she must control her fear. It will help her when she is face to face with him to know her enemy this way. As for the method, like he said, he'd learned to turn off his emotions yong - Hermione never has had to. So, I am delaing with that. Yoga was one way, Divination books another. She's trying anything that might work for her, and I have already set in a previous chapter exactly how she will come about it. You'll see, it'll make perfect sense, and show Severus where he went wrong with Harry's lessons (besides the fact that Harry couldn't put aside his hatered of Severus.) I started a chapter, well then had to move part to another later one and started again, only to realize I needed to put something in before - so I have 3 chapter's partically written and in rough draft, sort of. I'll have it ready soon. I hope.
YAY!!! An update! Thank you, bea, for such a fabulous chapter. So much is going on here, and I couldn't pick out just one thing cuz it's all wonderful. I guess the thing that frightened me the most was the way Alecto and Amycus treated Hermione in class. They will kill her if they can. One day Severus will have his revenge on them both.I'm glad that they had this chance for love after the horrors of her day. Well done.Beth
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
You're welcome, Beth. Thank you for the kind support. There is a lot of things that are being set up in this chapter. Things that play a huge role later. Yes, AC and AC would love nothing more than to kill Hermione, but they know they can't go that far - she is still the Dark Lord's prisoner, remember. But they see no reason not to 'play' with her. And - OH, Yes, he will!I really felt that they needed a bit of togetherness/softness so to speak to balance the horors of their day. Severus has his fair share too, you know, I just don't show everything.
Very nice. I was so happy to see that you updated! I'm anxious to see a chapter where Hermione starts the intimate encounters (as Severus mentioned in this chapter). I like how Hermione's starting to learn more about her "position" at Hogwarts, too. Lovely job. Keep it up.~Jen
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Thank you, Jen. I'm well into the next chapter as well. Some stuff that was going to come next is bounced up to a later chapter so I actually have most of two chapters started at once. So you know I'm working on this. There is a shower scene you'll like - not next, it got moved too. But you'll like it.
Response from severuslover (Reviewer)
I can't wait!!
Good writing. I like your style and you do suspence very well!I see (and approve of) that you are working on moving the SS/HG relationship forward, emotionally speaking. And I also subjectively understand that considering how JKR described events at Hogwarts in DH, Hermione's situation there would be precarious and very unpleasant. However, there is something viserally unsatisfying about this (and the last couple) of chapters that I can't quite put my finger on. Perhaps it's my personal dislike of 'HelplessHermione' portrayals. I understand how and why she's in this position, but it bothers me that she's been essentilally powerless since nearly the beginning of this fic. Will this ever change, or is she going to be a pawn for Severus, the Dark Lord the Carrows, et al. for the duration?
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Thank you very much. She is still a prisoner, one that is given the priviledge of attending school. She knew that she'd be hated and by whom. But there are three things in motion that are coming to a head: being able to talk to Harry/Ron, the DA is rising, she is working on Occlumency. Once she can close her mind, she can be trusted by Severus. The DA is growing... and well, even Hermione has her limits. But yes, she is the Dark Lord's pawn (so he thinks) and Severus cannot fully trust her yet, and the Carrows are never going to soften up where she is concerned.
Response from orm irian (Reviewer)
I just realized that the chapter title has a misspelled word. Did you mean 'escalate'?
That was fabulous. Where do Cillian's loyalties lie? Obviously, he and Snape are close friends. Is this a case of knowing the other's secrets? I assume cCllian was meeting his lady friend.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Thank you very much. Oh, I cannot tell you yet! Yes, Cillian are very close friends have been for years, but Severus still watches how much he tells Cillian. Actually judging by Severus reaction - Cilian was going to see his sister, Belinda, not his girlfriend.
He is treading a very fine line! :)
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Yes, a very thin line that will get thinner...

~looks around and ambles into the hallways, looking at paintings...scratching them a little to see if they're real and all...while gesturing for some rather unsavory characters to slip into the school and hide through out...until WHAM! Alecto finds herself being squashed by a really big, really angry bird! lol~ YAY BAZIL!also, yaaaay artichokes!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
I get it you're not very fond of Alecto? Thank you for the laugh, a, er, review.
Response from keske (Reviewer)
i think "not very fond of" is too strong a phrase...its more like "disagree for the sake of disagreeing" also, my poor, poor OC Bazil doesn't get to eat enough people. I mean, I know he's just a giant messenger bird but HEY! people are probably good protein for giant ostrich size carnivorous birds...am i right? of course i am ^.^ lol have a nice day ~doffs imaginary hat~
Later, when Hermione remembers this time, it will be a head desk moment. If she could think about why he wants her to master occlumency and see his feelings toward her, but he can't explain until she can keep it secret. Wonderful chapter, I love it. I'm so glad to see an update. Thanks for sharing.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Oh you've hit it on the head. That's exactly the problem. I'm so glad that you are enjoying this and sticking with me. Thank you for the review.
I hope Hermione will soon make progress in Occlumency. The ending of the chapter was sweet. They deserved this romantic moment. Thanks for posting, Bea!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Self-Writing Parchment)
Hermione is making progress, but in a different way than Severus wants it to be. She isn't him, and her strrength at it isn't the same as his. Where Severus can shut down and put away all feeling, Hermione is by nature more emotional. It will click really soon with them why she's having difficulties. (and it will be in a book) With everything going on - I thought that they needed something that could take them away from all the bad.Thank you very much for stickng with me on this story and the review.
