The Queen of the cliffhangers strikes again. The first time I read that section, my heart stopped. Although I had no doubts that Minerva would be okay, it was still a scary moment, wondering who had grabbed her from behind. ACK!!Once again. you're woven an amazing tale and one that has truly captivated me.
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
One of the fun things about writing serialized fiction is coming up with cliffhangers! That was a nice one . . .Thanks very much!
MMADFAN WROTE: My Muse has gone off in the corner, sulking, her feelings hurt that her contributions are unappreciated, since she has nothing to do with posting, which she considers beneath her and leaves to me to do without her assistance. I know how to deal with her sulks now, though! Dove Dark Chocolate Promises, a hot bubble bath, and some soothing music. And maybe a shot or two of Drambuie. (My Muse has very specific taste in liquor!)ACK...how dare your muse go off and sulk. She should get her act together and come back with some rather entertaining foreign phrases and jibes. I think the ICON and the GLM could have some fun with this...think about it!!!!!
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
She's finished with sulking when I involved her more! LOL! Haha!
You do a great job of presenting both Albus and Minerva's points of view in the chapters. It's a lot of fun to read their reactions to the same set of events. And Fawkes is great, no matter what he's doing. I'm rather partial to the phoenix. wink wink. He's a beautiful bird, a wonderful friend, and an all around intriguing familiar!!
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
I'm glad you liked the two points of view and their reflections on the relationship.I love the phoenix, too. Such a wonderful symbol, as well.
I adore this chapter from start to finish. From the moment Albus' breath is stolen to their very warm embrace at the end. Everything about it just seems os perfect and so natural between them. It's fun to go back and read through the chapters now and pick up on little tell-tale signs along the way. I do believe we're getting a glimpse of the side of Albus who does so love to play with Minerva's bosom. tee hee.
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
You do indeed get a glimpse of that side of Albus here! hee!I'm so glad you are enjoying the re-read so much!
I knew I would find it if I looked around a bit more. THIS is the specific chapter in which Johannes positively stole my heart the first time I read it! Could have been those deadly sexy Latin taxonomic terms, or even the cool auf Deutsch vocab...I have no idea. But his conversation with Minerva, explaining what he knew about magical ivy and yew was very very special.Yay, my sweet fan-fic boyfriend is sooooo smart!
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
This is one bright Ravenclaw! You like the gorgeous geeks, I would guess, and he's gorgeous and brilliant! He's also quite kind. Glad you found it!
Cheers for posting.

Yipee-ki-yay!
Quin is a fantastic OC (although I believe Johannes would be a better kisser...can't really 'splain that one, though); it took me a little while to warm up to Gertie, but she is rather complex, isn't she?Yay!I hope this wee TPP notice didn't make you queasy.P.S. "Three cheers"; get it? Heh.
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
Teehee! You are very amusing! And no queasiness! We all know about your crush on a certain German Herbology teacher, so you don't need to try to 'splain it! haha!Gertrude is quite the complex one -- and Minerva was only seeing one side of her (through green-tinged glasses, too!), but I'm glad you warmed up to her. Thanks!
Response from dmf1984 (Reviewer)
Wait a minute! Tell me again... just how many people know I have a major crush on a certain German Herbology teacher? Doh!Teehee...
Another great and warm fuzzy sort of chapter. Poor Albus and his cold shower...shivers. He should have just taken the moment and appreciated the thoughts of Minerva but he's too much of a gentleman. And I'm so happy that Albus is on time for this most important breakfast. SWEEEET!!!
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
Yes, he ran his tootsies off to get there on time! Haha!Thank you!
I LOVE ALBUS DUMBLEDORE IN YOUR STORY!!!! He's sweet, loveable, and slightly troubled but he'll get there eventually. It'll just take him some time...tee hee.
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
Thank you! I loke him, too! :)
Response from HogwartsDuo (Reviewer)
LOKE??? Is that anything like LOOOOOOVE....ADORE....DROOL OVER???? LOL
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
That's a comibination of "Like" and "Love" when my fingers can't make up their mind! haha! It's cuddly, though! LOL!
Response from HogwartsDuo (Reviewer)
Ah, gotcha...well as long as it's a cuddley thing it's all good. I LOKE him too.
Albus thinking back on the evening was so warm and fuzzy. I love that he planned on taking her the flowers the following morning for breakfast. Too bad he couldn't give her the flowers in bed...tee hee. Of course, that's moving a bit too fast for our dear Albus and Minerva....haha.That morning in Edinburgh must have been an eye opener for him. And bless Melina's heart...she can be a little chatterbox but I do like her. LOL
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
That enthusiasm didn't fade as she got older, either, did it? LOL!Thank you!

Ancora imparo!
What a fantastic chapter. I love that Minerva hesitates when Albus mentions going up the stairs to his bathroom. tee hee. That gave me a giggle. This whole chapter is lovely. It's so sweet of Albus to go to such great lengths to start making amends to Minerva. My heart melted when Minerva was cuddling with Albus....awwwww.You write THE BEST FLUFFIEST MOMENTS!!!
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
I'm glad you like the fluffiness! ;) They deserve a bit of comforting fluff, I think!
I love Egeria and Merwyn. They're perfect parents for Minerva and I'm glad she went home after the ordeal with Carson. The letter she wrote was so sad but it's also easy to see that her main concern was that everyone look after Albus because he'd feel responsible. The letter just goes to show where Minerva's mind and thoughts were before leaving on her mission. Even facing danger, her thoughts were on Albus...awwwww.
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
Egeria and Merwyn have been enjoyable to write, and I'm glad that you found them to be perfect parents for Minerva.I'm glad you liked the letter.Thank you very much!
The gardens, eh? Yes, I suppose Minerva might like that... These final chapters (and holiday diversions!) have been quite a bit of fun.
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
Thanks! I'm glad you've been enjoying them. (I was just thinking a couple days ago that maybe I should have ended the story 15 or 20 chapters ago, shortly after they got together, but I think it's been nice to have them actually "together" for a while.)I do think that Minerva will enjoy the walk in the gardens!Thank you for your reviews!
Cheers for posting.

What a very interesting postmodern and yet anti-essentialist critique! Insightful in its recursion, original through mere repetition . . .
Cheers for posting.
