Reviews for Resolving a Misunderstanding
Just wanted to say you're doing an AWESOME JOB and I'm loving reading back through this story. I love the interactions between Albus and Minerva...woo hoo.
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
I enjoyed writing them at different times in their lives. I'm glad you love it!Thanks!
If only they'd listened to Minerva about Tom Riddle, think of all the things that could have been altered. Sigh. Oh well, hindsight is 20/20 as they say. It's a good thing Minerva thought to call Wilspy to her when she needed her.Minerva sneaking out of her dorm to see Albus wasn't a very smart idea but in some ways I can undertsand her need and desire to see Albus and seek reassurance. He does give off the impression of being in control and everyone is safe near him.
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
Albus knew from his first meeting with Riddle that he was a budding psychopath. He always had his eye on him, but never was able to catch him in anything.Yes, Minerva just needed some reassurance, though she wasn't particularly smart in leaving as she did.
Little draft my eye...gotta love Wilspy and her little matchmaking ways. Albus and Minerva are so much better when they're on the mend and working towards each other instead of fighting their feelings at every turn. However, I know it won't last but the reward is so much sweeter than what they have now.
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
Wilspy is a tricky little house-elf! LOL!Yup, it's only after things fall apart completely that they completely mend, you're right about that! Thanks!
Minerva staring at Albus as he slept was such a sweet moment. I'ms ure it's something that will be repeated over and over again throughout their long life together. And no doubt, he will study every inch of her as well and commit the best bits to memory. awwww.
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
I'm glad you liked that. It can be a wonderful memory to make. Thanks!
Leave it to Poppy to pop in at just the wrong time. tee hee.And poor Albus at breakfast...just a slight glmpse of her bodice and he's twitterpated. I LOVE IT!!!
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
He's got it bad! LOL! And I'd forgotten about Poppy "popping" in -- yup, great timing! Thanks much! Glad you love it!
Awww...he's there for breakfast and right on time. Ya gotta love that about Albus. He's a quick learner...sometimes. haha. Minerva is just too sweet too when she's getting ready for her breakfast with Albus. These first few days after their misunderstanding are among my favorites.
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
He certainly did go to lengths to make up for his former inattention! The beginnings of a courtship without calling it that, really. Thanks much!
Unlike some people...who shall remain nameless, I can read and review a story properly. But, I just thought i'd let you know that I think your story is WORTH AT LEAST FIVE STARS AND THEN SOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HUGS,GLM
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
Awwwww! Thank you! I love getting reviews -- um, a review that says something about the chapter. You always leave extra-thoughtful reviews, and I appreciate that! Thanks!
Cute chapter! Worrying about robes and such, and Albus almost late again, lol. At least he has the flowers for her!
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
Thanks!
I love this story, and I can hardly wait to find out the ending!Keep up the good work!
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
I'm glad you're enjoying it. It's a long story, and I hope you continue to like it as it proceeds!
Thanks for reviewing!
Oh I was saying poor Alby last time, but poor Minnie too! Honestly now! I am unsure which one of them is in a worse pickle! She also has some mighty issues to over come, especially the very logical and expected - he is Albus D. and I am just ...
Love the way you are slowly going through this, am really enjoying it! Much thanks :)
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
You're very welcome! I am glad you are enjoying the slow development. I suppose I could have made it a few stories and just done sequels, but I really like weaving the past in with the present, and I didn't want to break up the story, anyway, as I saw it as a kind of organic whole.
Thanks very much for reviewing!
Response from AshenV (Reviewer)
Oh no, no, no ... I think that if you went down that road and made it a few stories, it wouldn't have been half as good as it is now - this is definitely one story, I totally agree that it's a whole like this, I sure know I'm enjoying it!
I can't believe the story is at an end. There will be a huge void left now in my fanfic reading so you'll have to keep coming up with new plot bunnies for the RaM universe! HINT HINT, WINK WINK, NUDGE NUDGE!Albus made excellent use of his knowledge of Minerva's fantasy of being taken near Greenhouse Three. That was SUPERB!! Of course, all of your lemons have been outstanding and steamy. What a perfect gift for Blampa. I'm happy to hear that she was the envy of the other house elves and the fact that they all harassed their Professors for something was too cute. I'm glad she and Minerva worked through their rocky beginning and have a good working relationship.Albus' surprising Minerva with a trip to Fortescue's was adorable. He's such a big kid at heart but when the time is right, he shows that he's every bit a man...mmm, and what a handsome man. lol Taking her to hte island afterwards was wonderful. I'm sure they'll have lots of fun breaking in the headboard and footboard for the bed. Minerva handled the revelation of Albus and Gertie's intimate relationship well. I'm sure on some level she'd already realized how close they'd become over the years. I'm glad she asked him about that part of his life so that now nothing is hidden between them. And woo hoo about the connecting floo network between their rooms. I'm sooooo happy you put that in there. I was wondering how they'd manage to find time for each other during the week. That was an excellent idea.I'm very much looking forward to the epilogue though with a bit of melancholy since I know that will truly be the end of this wonderful story.CHEERS FOR POSTING...tee hee.TTFN,GLM
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
CHEERS FOR REVIEWING!Yeah, you're soooooo funny! No, I won't leave it there. LOL! Thank you for reviewing, of course, but I'm very glad you enjoyed this last chapter. There will be a couple more little threads tied up in the epilogue, and I probably will write some little shorts, too. That little private Floo Network was just waiting to be created. Poor lonely fireplace in Albus's bedroom! He could have created a connection to her bedroom, but if he Flooed through the private Floo and stepped out into her sitting room and she had a guest, his appearance from her study would not raise the eyebrows it would if he stepped out of her bedroom! LOL! Besides, despite the intimate nature of their relationship, he does have a few gentlemanly qualms about Flooing directly into her boudoir! hee!I hope you enjoy the epilogue! It'll be up in the next couple weeks.TTFN!
I can't believe RaM is (almost) over!!!! This was such a great story. It was quite interesting that the wizard guarding the passageway actually was the wizard who cursed the knight - and it was quite sad that the wizard does not know how to remove the knight from the portrait. I am glad, though, that the knight and Fidelio will continue to serve Minerva - they seem quite appropriate guardians!I also looooved Albus's first surprise for Minerva - quite an exciting way of living out her fantasy - though I am glad that Albus cast a stronger charm to prevent them from being heard! And it was so nice that they were able to spend a night at the cottage before school started. And Minerva's gift to Blampa was so kind and thoughtful - I'm glad that all of the other house-elves that serve the Heads of Houses demanded something to designate their position!
Malcolm sounds like he will be a good teacher - that is, if the girls aren't too distracted by his "dishy" appearance!
I'm also glad that Minerva and Albus talked about his relationship with Gertrude - I do feel as though that would have become awkward had they kept avoiding the topic.
Oh, and I'm glad that Alroy's in Gryffindor! I think Quin will be happy about that!
And Albus's surprises at the end of the chapter - both the door to her study and the private Floo connection - were wonderful. It certainly will make their life together much easier!
This is one of my favourite stories of all time - including actual books - and while I am sad that there is only the epilogue remaining, this was a great last chapter.
And as I said in my review of the previous chapter, MMADfan is our Queen!
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked the various tied-up strands of story.Thank you for all your kind words! I hope that you enjoy the epilogue. (It will likely be up in about 10 - 14 days, and I hope to have an update to DD in about a week.)Thanks again!
Aww, poor Minnie had an "accident". Not too much to be ashamed over. Anyone's meditation could have ended that way if someone interrupted it. Though it would be embarrassing to have to tell why, I guess.
Response from MMADfan (Author of Resolving a Misunderstanding)
Very embarrassing!
Thanks for reviewing!
