Draco Malfoy has changed sides. When he decides to leave Malfoy Manor, he needs help packing. While at the Manor, a surprise arrival changes everything. The warnings show abuse and violence, but I promise that nothing will be bad. It really is more of a romance, but the other stuff is necessary.

I've been posting on here for a while and have decided to update my profile. I'm 30ish... I have a husband... I have two daughters... and other various creatures living at my house. My real life consists of work, fanfiction (which sometimes supercedes work), and chasing after my teen and tween.

Like Hermione said -- Draco is a Healer. I thought about letting someone else doing it, I just thought it would be fun to put Draco up to the task. I'm working on chapter 8 right now. I'm going to let Hermione and Draco have a little private talk about the examination. Snape doesn't have to know everything, does he?... LOL!

Geez, if Snape got to know everything... *shakes head* I'm happy that Draco and Hermione get to talk without any witnesses. I'm just curious to see what the conversation will include. Hermione will most probably want Lucius' 'jewels' on a platter... I'm guessing here. If she doesn't get him, Draco will. *rubs hands enthusiastically* This should make some good reading...

Oh, thank you so much. That's exactly how I feel about HG/SS fics. I used to hate them, but the more I read, the more I loved. I appreciate your taking the time out. I am working on chapter 8 right now. I have the best beta in the world, so I usually don't have to wait very long for a return.
Such a thrilling story so far, cant wait to read the rest. (And I will, its just too late now and I am exhausted)

Wow. A different side of Snape to have faith in Harry. I hope that Ginny will be alright while Harry is away. Looking forward to an update.

Why didn't anyone check out Hermione to see if the rape did damage?This is an interesting story... you have the Hermione/Draco situation on top of the Snape/Granger tension... are Snape and Hermione going to be friends then?(Okay silly question... nevermind it)Thanks for sharing!~*~SeleneAngel~*~

This is such a great chapter... 
I like the uncertainty of the Lucius/Hermione incident. You get a feeling of knowing what happend but then again is seems as if somthing is missing...What curse did Lucius use and what are the consequences ? Why is Severus feeling soft for the know-it-all Hermione? Those are just some of the unanswered questions! Keep up the great and brilliant work.Hugs Carmille

The answer to the curse is coming up in chapter 3, which is being beta'd right now. The answers to exactly what happened to Hermione and why Snape is so soft are coming up in later chapters. I love suspense. Thank you SO much for the kind words. I'm inspired!

loving the story! like the new generation of malfoy, weasley, snape & potter..
love the cute ending.. love hermione/draco, ginny/harry, the other are one big family, even their kids & grandkids are family, too. overall love the story to pieces...
happy that lucius end his life.. how could he did that to his own son & hermione.. u wrote this chapter beautifully..

Author's Response: Thank you, thank you! I've got 2 new fics in the works. One is called Tale of Two Fathers. It's an SS/HG fic, and the other is a H/G called Debt to No One. It shouldn't be long before I have the first chapter of these put up.
Ginny on bedrest again and striking back with emotional invitations! J/K...Well back! I can't wait for the finish of this story...though I'll miss it.
