I am a classically trained singer with three children. I love Star Trek and have watched probably every episode of every series. Favorite HP charaters are Snape and McGonagall. (not as a couple.)

What a terrible accident! What a terrible misunderstanding! Will they ever reconcile? Great action packed chapter, debjunk!
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
Tune in next week for the next edition of... Recovery!!!!
OK...Wow, I think Severus needs to seriously chill.
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
LOL, I suppose he does.
Hmmm. Methinks Severus will use that spell on Mr Duvall!
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
Hmmm, maybe!
Severus is jealous and he doesn't know why yet, I love it.Greal chapter, I love the way it's progressing.
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
He is definitely jealous. Not quite tuned in to his feelings, though. He'll figure it out eventually.Glad you're enjoying it! Thanks for the review.
Loving this story! I've been busy with rl for so long, it was a joy to come back and find five new chapters. I hope you have more coming up soon!
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
Welcome back! Glad you're enjoying it. The next chapter will be up relatively soon.
Lovely chappie!...still creeping towards that conflagration that will erupt?.....still, sounds as though Sevvie now sees Hermione in a 'quite' different light!...oh goody *rubs hands together gleefully*......sniffs air hopefully for future citrus whiff? Keep going Debjunk.....I'm in a state of anticipatory agony!
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
Anticipatory agony! Oh no! Well, the next chapter is on it's way to my beta, so it'll be up eventually. And yes, it does seem like we're creeping. He won't find out quite yet, but it'll be soon.
Severus is having such a hard time letting his guard down and letting people in, everyone except Hermione and Red, of course. I'm afraid after she Transfigures into her Animagus form for her classes the first time, he will be so furious with her that he will want nothing to do with her. It's a good thing that she and Ron were able to talk about how they really feel about each other. Trying to pretend something like that is such hard work, and I have a feeling Hermione will need all her energies to deal with Severus' wounded feelings after he finds out about Red.Thanks for the great update, Deb!Beth
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
Hi Beth,Yes, you're right about when Severus finds out about Red. It won't be pretty. Not pretty at all. I think that Ron is a decent guy, or at least has potential to be when he's not a jealous twit. He deserves someone more on his level. I just hate him with Hermione.
Finally! Severus showed just a tiny crack in his shield.
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
A teeny, tiny crack. Yes. He'll probably throw some cement in there in between chapters. :D
Another wonderful chapter. I have the feeling that Severus is going to start comparing Hermione to Red and see some similarities. I'm looking forward and yet dreading that, because no doubt he will feel a bit betrayed because Hermione hasn't said anything. But the relationship between Severus and Hermione seem to be improving, and I think Hermione as Red has a lot to do with that. If he didn't open up to Red, then I don't think he'd bother getting to know Hermione.
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
The bird is letting him work through his pain, letting him put his guard down a little for Hermione. So, yes, Red is definitely helping!
Without her as an outlet, he'd still be wrapped in his anti-social cloak. Well, he's still got that cloak on, but he's peeking out of it now. Once in a while.
Hey honey! Thanks for the awesome update. I feel so bad for Hermione. She definiteley got herself into a pickle. I couldn't help lauging at Severus when he was talking to Red. I have to agree with him, he sure could use a smart "bird" like her around! Hahahaha. *Hugs* ~ Brena
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
Thanks, hon! He definitely can use her around. But he doesn't realize it in either situation. LOL. But it's true, Hermione is... stuck. And in no good place here.
Nice to see Ron and Hermione part on good terms, and Severus continue his friendship with Red. But it's going to get messy real soon, isn't it?
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
Yes, very soon. One can only live a lie for so long.
I'm glad he didn't get mad about Hermione touching him. I dread to think what he will be like when he finds out that Hermione is red. Great chapter.
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
Oh, he'll be seeing 'red.' :) It is a positive thing that he didn't pull away in disgust.
He is so cranky, but I bet if Severus plays his cards right Hermione will want to be more than just a friend.
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
Probably, but when does Severus play his cards right?
This story is so much fun, I can't wait to see how Hermione helps Severus.
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
Thank you! I'm glad you like it.
Wonderful chapter, I can't wait to see how Hermione goes about helping Severus.
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
Heh, heh. She's helping in a bit of a different way, isn't she? But really, would he listen to her human form? I doubt it.
Hermione has come home to hogwarts, what could be better. Because of her fear of flying Hermione's animagus was surprising, but I can see how it would be freeing to be a bird.If any one can help Severus it will be Hermione, she is one of the strongest willed people at Hogwarts.
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
I know, it's funny that she became a falcon! Who would have guessed. But that's what she wanted to be, and it will help her overcome her fear of flying as a human too.Hermione's determined all right. Who better than to get Severus out of his funk.
Such a sweet chapter, I like the way you are building the trust between them slowly.
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
Thank you! If they are to overcome the future, there needs to be some trust now. Hopefully, he'll remember that later.
Very powerful chapter, I am so glad to see Minerva is willing to fight to get Severus back as her friend.
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
She's regretful of her actions and wants to definitely make it up. He's not really buying it much though. Poor guy has been fooled too many times.
Very glad to see Minerva trying to take care of Severus even if he would rather she did not.Lily Evans may have been what kept Severus going but now that she is out of his head and heart he will have room for someone else and he can finally move on.I hope Dumbledore is able to help Severus come to terms with what has happened in the past and can help him see that he can have a future.
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
He needed to get rid of Lily, whether he realized it or not. Dumbledore would like to help, but their past is a bit... well, you know. And Minerva will keep at it. No matter what Severus thinks.
Powerful chapter, it's nice to see how Severus felt about his part in Dumbledore's death, you don't get to see that very often. I do feel terribly sorry for Severus.
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
He's got a lot of unshed grief and guilt. It will take some time to heal.
Shame on the ministry, how can they not trust Severus after all he did to help Harry Potter defeat you-know-who.
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
I know. We're at the beginning of the Ministry reforms. Nothing's set right yet. It's definitely terrible what they're doing, though.
I love Hermione in bird form, she just too cool.
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
Thank you! I'm glad you like her. Maybe Severus will think the same thing?
Did I tell you that Red and Snape's interactions are really cool! :)
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
I don't think you have! Thank you, I enjoy their little back and forths myself.
You know, Severus just makes me what to shake him senseless. He's so used to people being wary of him, and distant, that he doesn't know how to react when someone actually takes the time to talk to him. It does make him rather endearing, and Hermione is just the person to get to him.
Response from debjunk (Author of Recovery)
Don't you, though? You want to say, "Wake up, you dunderhead! People love you! Just look around and recognize it!"He'd call you daft anyway. He's not there yet. Too bad for him.
