I am a grateful fan of Ms. Rowling and of her overwhelming Byronic Character, Severus Snape! Please check out the first chapters of each fic (except for "How Can I Tell You," which is on Chapter 2) to see pictures of the Heroines.

Great story. Eagerly awaiting the next part.

Thanks!
Hehe I really like this still! Is it perhaps that "Mr. Black's" memoriesare off because he gave some of them away?>o< Can't wait for Hermione to meet him!A~~
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
I can not say. You'll have to wait... but Mr. Black will make his appearance soon!
LOL OH, no ROn it's not you, It's me - yeah right! Lout. he's insensitive and selfish, doens't listen or try! She is better off without than him. I was crushed by her parent's reaction, poor girl. Well, hopefully thins will go up
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
LOL! Yes she is better off without him. Things will get better for her. Thanks :)
Wow this is really interesting! I meant to read it earlier, but I only got around to it now. Harry's obsessive behaviour scared me a little to begin with, but I kind of see why he is that way. I also really like this Eugene character and the Cumbrian slang. It it really different, and I like that. Nice start, and I look forward to reading more about Hermione and this Mr. Black ;pAngela~~
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
I'm glad you are enjoying this little fic. Yes, more up on Mr. Black soon! Thanks :)
This chapter is fantastic! You're staging the plot well and giving just the right amount of "hints" to keep this reader coming back for more!Eugene is an adorable child, and a wizard to boot, if I'm not mistaken. The things he has told Hermione about the mysterious Mr Black make me hope we have found our Potions Master alive and well and living in Grasmere.I felt a tug at my heart when the boy told Hermione that Mr Black talks to a lady in the mirror, that he doesn't want anyone to touch him except for that lady, and he's just waiting for her to come. I found myself thinking about Lily and Hermione... or maybe there was someone else we don't know about. But my heart-of-hearts tells me this Mr Black is Severus Snape... and I sure hope I'm right.Eugene reminds Hermione of Sirius Black, but I'm reminded of Harry and Severus. Anyway, I'm glad that he has a new friend in Hermione, and perhaps between her and Mr Black, they can put weight on his frame and teach him that he is cared for. You've got a magical tale here, and I can't wait for your next update!!!Beth
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thank you so much! I hope that you continue to enjoy this tale.
Hermione's parent's reaction to her Obliviating them (for their own safety) was a bitter blow for the young witch, and she needs time to sort herself out now that she has been made rich and an "orphan" all at the same time. I'm glad for her and Ron that she came to her senses and ended their engagement. They both deserve a happy future, and I don't think they would have found it with each other.Harry's gift of a "blue print" was a sweet thought, though I was surprised by it. One never knows what to expect in that kind of situation, and they handled it as well as could be expected. Her decision to go back to the Muggle world for a while will give her a chance to come to terms with everything that has happened during the last few years. I look forward to seeing where she chooses to go and what she decides to do for the next little while.I'm enjoying your story very much.Beth
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thank you. Hermione needed to go, it was time to end it with Ron and find who she is now, without family, without having to "mother" Harry and Ron. Although, she is a mother by nature, as we will see with Eugene.
Oh how sad. Harry's inability to forgive himself is slowly destroying everything good that he still has in his life... his relationship with Ginny is sure to suffer, as well as his other friendships, if he cannot get a grip on his overwhelming grief.Hermione's acceptance of Ron's selfish way of "love making" is disturbing. Living vicariously through the tender moments between Ginny and Harry can only carry her so far. Sooner or later she will have to admit to herself that she and Ron are not right for each other, that she can't go on this way, and it will probably be a very bad for them both. This is a well written chapter of love and despair and the destruction that can overcome anyone who cannot work through their feelings of inadequacy born of loss.Beth
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thank you. I wanted the chapter to show how palpable the desperation was that Hermione and Harry were feeling, albeit for seperate reasons. Yes, Hermione will have to make a choice for herself. Thanks!
This first chapter is incredible! I'm so glad I saw the "Pimpage" on Potter Place. You've set the premise for the prompt very well, and I'm looking forward to following it!Well done!Beth
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thank you! I hope you continue to like where it goes. Thanks :)
Hmm, nice job on building the plot here; you're giving out information at a good pace. I look forward to meeting "Mr. Black." (ROFL!) Thank you for posting this; I'm enjoying it. Cat
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thanks! I'm glad I could give you a giggle...I couldn't resist!Mr. Black!
Ah, now whose son is this? Why does Snape know that he's a wizard? Very intriguing...
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Good questions! All will be answered in due course. :)Thanks!
I'm thinking we may have found the elusive Potions master. Could he be waiting for Lily? That's just sad.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
This is going to be very sad. Hermione will be in for the shock of her life. Thanks :)
I believe this was the best chapter you've written in the story yet. The reason I'm saying so? There was great plot in this one, not just centered on thoughts about sex, which I've mentioned before, but it felt like a start of a great story. I like the characterization you gave to the little boy, and I think Hermione's done well with him. Good work.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thanks, I had wanted to set the scene that got Hermione in Grasmere. Now, things will be more indepth thoughts on relationships and other themes. I hope you continue to enjoy where I take this. Thanks!
I hate that her parents are being this way, but I'm glad she was able to get out on her own. I think Harry's part was sweet. :)
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thanks, there were mixed feelings about that from a couple of reviewers, but it felt right to me after all Hermione had been through and her struggling inside. Thanks!
The similarities between Snape, Harry and Eugene are astounding. What is he - the reincarnation of Sirius?I'm wondering about the mirror and the lady. It can't be the mirror of Erised, then Snape wouldn't have to wait for "her" to appear. You really made me curious.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Eugene is just a sweet little boy that Hermione stumbled upon and will help to change her life. The simliarities are something that draws her to him and makes her want to protect and care for him.The lady in the mirror and "Mr. Black" will all be explained in due time. Thanks!
Awww I just love little Eugene! He reminds me of my friend Gene in some ways (I call him Genie cause he hates that). I wonder what old Mr. Black is going to say about a certain know-it-all... maybe Eugene will slip up. >.< Can't wait for the next chapter!
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
It's going to be interesting that's for sure! Thanks!
Hmmm... Between two adults, the boy should start to look better fed. How long until "Mr. Black" begins to ask about Hermione?
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
LOL! Good Question! I hope you like the next couple of chapters. Thanks
Perhaps he liked the same poetry? :)
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
HAHAHA!!! All these reviews are making me laugh! I can't say-you'll all have to wait. Thanks!
I'm glad to see Hermione settled in and happy. I like little Eugene, he's adorable. So, I wonder if "Mr.Black's" lady friend has red hair and vivid green eyes, hmmm? I love this story and was glad to see an update.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
LOL! You'll have to see. I hope you will like the next chapter! Thanks
This chapter was captivating! Eugene is wonderful, I can't wait to read more about him.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thank you! He is a really sweet boy, you see more of that side to him as the chapters go by.Thanks!
What an interesting chapter. Is the little boy a wizard? Or was 'Mr. Black' talking through his head?
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Yes, Eugene is a wizard, and he will need all the support he can get from Hermione and the mysterious "Mr. Black."Thanks!
It's rather sad to hear her parents have not forgiven her for altering their memories and have decided to live completely separated from their daughter. I have often wondered how they might react when their memories are restored - it's totally believable, but still very sad.Ron seemed to be very sure of Hermione, or he wouldn't have asked her in front of everyone else. Ron sorely needs to grow up before he should enter a serious relationship again. I don't think Hermione will be still around by then. It's good that Hermione and Ron separated. She has to sort out her own life and can't need Ron around at the moment, as possesive as he is.The story and its underlying motifs are good, but for my taste too much stress was put on sex - you probably wanted to show the difference between Harry and Ron, and what Hermione is seeking for herself.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Yes, I did, and I wanted to get that done and over so I could get on with Hermione striking out on her own. There isn't going to be sex for quite a while for Hermione now, as you will see in the next chapter. Thanks for reviewing!
They seemed to make love how they talked to each other, biting and sniping every other sentence.Interesting analogy.Well, it seems to me that Harry was unable to find a closure in his "relationship" with Sape. Harry has thought of Snape as the bad guy for years - and now when he learned that Harry had done him wrong all the time, he couldn't say that he was sorry. All the trauma Harry had suffered in the war seems to manifest here. I hope he will get more stable soon.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Harry will have to struggle his way through, and he won't be the only one suffering with what is the theme of this story: the inability to forgive oneself. Thanks:)
Good Story. Thanks for updating :)
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
I'm glad you're liking it!Thanks :)
Excellent portrait of the agony that grief and guilt can place on someone. I've seen people who weren't able to let go, and I think you're doing an amazing job of meking his grief look futile, while still making him sympathetic!
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thanks! I hope you continue to like where I take this!
I don't know how I missed this one! I really like it. Surviror's guilt is a really hard thing to overcome, I've always thought Harry should have had a bit harder time of it (poor dear).
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Well, we didn't get to see how he was once the adrenelin stopped and he really sat down to think about it. We got 19 years later, so I decided to do it the way I thought he might react, but he won't be the only one dealing with the problem of forgiveness. Thanks :)
