I am a grateful fan of Ms. Rowling and of her overwhelming Byronic Character, Severus Snape! Please check out the first chapters of each fic (except for "How Can I Tell You," which is on Chapter 2) to see pictures of the Heroines.

A drunken Sybil and unwanted cupping..... *Shudders*
I am so glad Severus has finally been able to open up to some one, and confess how he is feeling. Maybe now he can start to heal.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
LOL! It's amazing his "what-not" ever came out of hiding after that! But, yes, these are important steps he is taking for his emotional health. Thanks :)
I wonder what made Snape suddenly interested in Hermione when he was so completely wraped up in his loss of Lily.
Very interesting to see Severus so uncomfortable having the Birds and the Bees talk!
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
It's been growing for a while. I am sure it hasn't escaped his notice that while he's been begging for Lily to come back to him, there's been a living, breathing woman who already does care for him. Thanks :)
I am glad Harry managed to get away to give the memories back. I though Snape may be more receptive to Harry now, but I guess some prejudices are too deep to overcome quickly.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
The old protective walls of self-preservation are hard to take down after so many years. Thanks :)
Ok, so I know Ginny has a. Lot on her plate right now, but Hermione does not desrve to be treated like that. They are all healing and finding themselves after the war. It seems like Ginny is blaming Hermione for everything that is going on.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Oh, yeah. Ginny is venting big time! She's being very unfair, but in her defense, she is going crazy dealing with Harry and Ron.Thanks :)
Very well done! I loved that they are now married. I love that Severus had that talk with Harry, I am sure Severus needed that talk too, he just didn't know he did. For Ron, well he has always been a prat, and will continue to be so, if anything he has proven one more time how rigth Hermione was to leave.Last, but not least: Wonderful chapter, I loved it:-))
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thank you! I'm happy you have enjoyed the direction I've taken with this fic. Thanks :)
Somehow I knew that Ron wasn't going to be gracious when he heard the news. Taking one last jab at Hermione was right in line with his character. What an ass! Anyways, Severus did very well making Harry realize that his life is to be lived and that his responsibilities are to himself and his family. I'm so happy that Severus and Hermione married!!! I'm looking forward to the adoption and pending birth very much. Fantastic update! :D

Thank you! I'm glad you have enjoyed this fic! Thanks :)
Very nicely done. You handled some delicate subjects with grace, decorum and believability.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thank you very much!
I'm surprised Eugene didn't hex Ron with accidental magic. Or that Molly and Arthur wouldn't stop him from behaving like such a boor.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Nothing ever stopped them before. Whenever trouble was going on between Ron and Hermione, it was Hermione that got treated badly. Eugene probably didn't have to worry. I'm sure GInny and Molly got on him like a duck on a junebug for making a pregnant woman cry. Thanks :)
I couldn't have been happier that Severus and Hermione decided to marry right away, and having Eugene be his best man would have made the young man feel completely wanted and loved. It was a very nice touch.
Severus' talk with Harry was crucial to Harry's being able to begin to rebuild his life. I'm so happy that Severus shared his thoughts and his thanks with the young man. Just knowing that his professor didn't hold any animosity toward him was extremely healing. The gift Harry gave Severus', his wand as good as new, was the best thing he could have done for him, and once again Severus could feel his magic. I think the return of his wand was as important to Severus' ability to regain his stability as having Harry return his memories and Hermione destroy the mirror was.
It was good to see the warm welcome that Ginny, Arthur, and Molly showed the Snapes when they arrived at the Burrow. It was a shame that Severus and Hermione felt it necessary to leave before dinner, but Ron completely ruined what could have been a good reunion for everyone. I swear, I think Ronald Weasley is beyond help. He had always been one to sulk if he didn't get his way, and finding out that Hermione and Severus were married didn't improve his outlook on the world at all. Will he never figure it out? Will he never understand that trouble doesn't find him; rather he is the one who courts trouble by his selfishness and unwillingness to take anyone else's feelings into consideration? Apparently not.
I'm still in love with your story, and am very much looking forward to the next chapter! When I see that you have posted an update, it just makes my day! Thank you.

Thanks! It was very much needed for Severus and Harry to sort things out. Not just for Hermione's sake, but for each other to get on with each other's lives. Thanks :)
you know...i know a clever little charm that can disquise porcupines as pillows... i could quite easily set one on ron, if ya like...i mean...you could always think it was a prank...children you know...~nods~
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
LOL!!! I think he is quite put out enough by loosing Hermione to Snape. But, at least, being so childish, it could work rather well! Thanks :)
It figures that Ron would show up early knowing Hermione would be there and promptly ruin the visit by attacking her for having the temerity to leave him. What an unbelievable selfish git! If there's any justice, Ron will end up with some kind of S&M witch who treats him to the kind of pain he took pleasure in dishing out to Hermione. But I'm glad that Severus made the effort to get through to Harry, who seems to be almost as damaged as Severus was, albeit in a different way. Hopefully, Severus' words are enough to kick Harry out of his funk and motivate him to move on.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
I believe so. Giving Severus his wand back whole was a very important step for both of them. I think it healed Harry and Snape a bit. Hopefully, Harry can knock some sense into Ron!Thanks :)
I very much enjoyed this chapter, really a good story and I need to go back ad review this story. I apparently have forgotten where Eugene came from. I must have this story mixed with another. Really loved the last part with the wand. Great scene.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thank you! I know what you mean, lol! I do the same thing when I get to reading too many fics at once :)
WOW. What an awesome chapter. Well worth the wait. I like that you have keep Snape as close to cannon as possible and this chapter just brought it out. I am glad that he confronted Harry to help ease Harry's guilt I hope that Harry can move on from this and start to live again. Ron need to grow up and get a life. I liked that Severus was upset that Ron had upset Hermione and the first thing he did was go to her and then berated Ron. I will look forward to the next update. Kuddo's
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thanks! I see Severus as the type of man that would go nuts if something threatented or upset his family-especially his pregnant wife. The confrontation was so needed for Snape and Harry. Then, with Harry giving Snape his wand, they have now both given something equally precious to the other: Snape's memories and tangible evidence of his identity, and Harry being released from his misplaced guilt and knowing Snape cares about him living the best life he can. When I wrote it, I had Snape thinking in his mind, "Oh, no, you little tosser! I didn't risk death and spying and faking how I really felt for all these years so you can sit on your arse and waste your life! It was a kinda "kick your ass for your own good kind of conversation".Thanks :)
Wonderful chapter, and Harry returning the repaired wand at the end was just the cherry on top.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thank you! I thought that would be the final thing Snape would need to feel like himself. Thanks :)
That was really nice. Well, not the Ron part, but what could we expect from him. Glad you made everyone else decent to Snape.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Why would they have an issue with Snape? Arthur and Molly, being open people could see over time that Snape probably was afraid to return. Of course Ron is a complete idiot. He's proven that time and again in canon. Thanks :)
Awwwww a very sweet chapter with a perfect dash of drama thrown in for good measure. I liked the interraction between Snape and Harry, and I have no criticims :) Thanks for sharing! A~
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thank you. I hoped it would have just the right amount of tension without Snape being too harsh or Harry too sappy. Thanks :)
Yay, another update! I loved hearing that Severus is going to talk to Harry. And Omg, I'm so jealous she's pregnant! I can't wait to see what happens next! Thanks for posting. Much Love ~ Brena
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Yes, things are going well for a change. Now they will have to see what has been going on with Harry. Thanks :)
Thank you so much for a truly brilliant chapter! I am so happy for the way you make Severus feel loved, wanted and accepted, it makes my toes curl in joy:-))
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
You are so welcome! Severus deserves all the love in the world. Thanks :)
Oh wow, Hermione really gave it to him. I was glad that he at least heard and listened to what she'd said. A baby? Really? Severus a father? cooool!
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Yes, they are coming around much faster with their problems and misunderstandings. Yes! A baby. This is really going to mean so much to Severus since he realized that Hermione has given him more emotionally than Lily ever had. Thanks :)
Typical male, so proud to be "fruitful" LOL :)
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
LOL! So true!Thanks :)
That was lovely. I'm glad they got over their disagreement. He's finally realizing what it's like to be cherished.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Yes, he realizes Hermione has given him so much more than Lily ever had. Now a baby is just the icing on the cake. Thanks :)
That was intense, and I'm glad they got through their argument.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Yes, they are getting faster about resolving their issues, aren't they? I think Severus is feeling much more secure in Hermione's love for him. Thanks :)
Wow, Severus was certainly smug about getting Hermione pregnant so quickly. Must be a man thing. Hopefully it will be a daughter. I always wanted a daughter, but I have two boys.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Oh, yes. I thought that would be typical Severus. SO superior to getting Hermione pregnant while taking a contraceptive. He's super manly now LOL!Thanks :)
Awwww wow - who would have thought she'd be in the family way so soon :p Nice chapter - looking forward to more.A~
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Yes, now they both get what they wanted so much. Thanks :)
