I am a grateful fan of Ms. Rowling and of her overwhelming Byronic Character, Severus Snape! Please check out the first chapters of each fic (except for "How Can I Tell You," which is on Chapter 2) to see pictures of the Heroines.

Requiescat in pace, Livvy. Always.
Reviews for The Unforgiven
Your Hermione is rather good with kids. It takes a lot to have a bunch of kiddos following you around and walking with their hand in yours.I hope they listened to her story and remember it in future.Poor Eugene. He probably has been shut away in the cupboard under the stairs by his vile family ...
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Things will get a bit better for Eugene and the other boys in school now, so that will be an improvement on life. Hermione will not let Eugene be mistreated anymore. Severus will not give him up either. This will be an interesting conundrum. Thanks :)
Eugene's aunt is a real nasty piece of work. I hope Hermione is able to do something about getting Eugene out of their home and into hers. That boy needs to be around people who understand what it is like to grow up as a witch or wizard.Wow! I love this chapter and the way Hermione taught the boys a lesson in tolerance and forgiveness by telling them the story of Severus, Lily and Harry. Well done.I can't wait to see your next update. I want to know how Severus reacts to seeing Hermione, and what he has to say, and how much of his memory is in tact, and... oh, everything!Beth
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Yes ,his aunt is really mean and Eugene will be better off with Hermione. He's a determined boy and has it fixed in his mind that his Mr. Black and Hermione need to be together. The next chapter will show what has been going on with Snape. Thanks :)
hey - just got into your story - love the plot and your secondary characters - but especially appreciate your work in of some great discussion points of faith!! Thank you for that courage and committment - it is even more wonderful when wrapped in a great story! keep up the good work!
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thanks! I couldn't see how I could avoid the themes faith and grace. It's so interwoven with forgiveness. I'm happy you are enjoying the story. Thanks :)
What a great chapter! It was really nice to hear Hermione tell Professor Snapes story to the boys. Maybe she can also get them to be nice to Eugene with the same concept. Speaking of Eugene, I hope his mean Aunt & Uncle don't have him trapped under the stairs too. What a flaming bitch. I hope Hermione really gives those nasty people what for eventually. But first, how will Severus handle seeing her? I seriously hope he doesn't freak out. I'm just going to be hanging out on this cliff till you update again. Much Love ~ Brena
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
LOL! Yes, she is a flaming bitch, isn't she? The next chapter will be all about what is up with Professor Snape. Snarkiness abounds! Thanks :)
Hehe - nice.I look forward to reading more!A~~
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
The next chapter should be really fun. Snarky Severus! Thanks :)
Thank you for a great update! I hope Hermiones meeting with Severus goes tolerabely well, not at least because of Eugene. I am so looking forward for the next update!
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Glad you enjoyed it. The next chapter will be more interesting with the exchange between Severus and Hermione. Thanks :)
Did he know about her? I'm looking forward to their conversation.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Oh, yes, he knows it's Hermione, and he has been waiting for her to come around. The next chapter should be interesting! Thanks :)
You... are... evil... leaving it at that! I do hope that if he has gone a bit crazy, he's curable. I like what Hermione said about people who are hurting and how they like to see others miserable too. Very true.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
*grins evilly* I know I am so very wicked! We'll get Severus at this snarkiest in the next chapter. Hang on... it's going to be a ride! Thanks :)
Well, she seems to understand him well enough. :)
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Harry shared the Pensieve moments... or some of them. But Hermione has always been the intuitive one. Thanks :)
Oh, please update, pretty please! I'm dying to see what happens next... and I loved Hermione's little lesson!
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
I shall get the next chapter to my beta ASAP. I hope you enjoy it. Severus' at his snarkiest! :)Thanks
Now why didnt someone think to put a tracing spell on him or something? ((considers)) I expect they were all in shock and dealing with a ranting Harry was foremost on their minds. Where is Severus? Have you hurt my boyfriend?
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
I think the tracking spell only works when a person has their wand on them. As Harry and the Aurors learned, his wand was found snapped in two and discarded. I don't think he can be traced without his wand on him. I could be wrong, of course. Good question... I will have to look that up!Thanks!
Question of the day: Will Ron ever grow up? Thank heavens Hermione did and realized what little she had with him. Too bad about her parents. I've often wondered if they'd be angry with her for Obliviating them without their permission. It's a shame they chose to remove her from their life entirely.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Fear does strange things to people. Unfortunately for Hermione, no good deed goes unpunished... so she'll have to find her own happiness. Thanks!
Woohoo - go, Hermione! I'm glad she made the right decision, and glad that she handled it well. Good stuff! Thank you for posting, Cat
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thanks, yeah, it's time for Hermione to move on with her life and focus on what she needs to do for herself to get over what happened with Harry, Ron and her parents. Thanks for reviewing!
wow...what an interesting take on the events arround the final battle. i think you have harry donwn to a tee. no way after all he went thru could he come out normal and well adjusted. i look forward to where hermione's going from here. thanks so much
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
I hope you like where I take her. It's really going to be an interesting to see where she goes from here. Thanks!
A big THANKS for this wonderful fanifction. :) You found such empathetic words, I sometimes had tears in my eyes.
I also enjoyed your idea, what can possibly happen when a wizard lost parts of his memories.
Thanks for writing and sharing.
Best wishes,
Dawndancer
That's too bad about her parents but I'm glad she cut Ron loose. They both deserve to be loved. Ron's lovemaking is possessive and a boost for his ego. He doesn't love her enough to listen much less change. Great chapter, I'm looking forward to the next.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Yes, Hermione deserves better and Ron does too. After all, he was supportive of her work, praised her abilities and intelligence. He wasn't an evil git. It's just that he's a bit young and needs to grow up a bit when it comes to sex and tenderness. Besides, Hermione is in no posotion to get married with her parents chucking her out like that. She needs to get her head on straight. Thanks!
Ron just doesn't get it, does he?
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
LOL! No, but hopefully one day he will. Thanks!
Interesting, although I don't think I could give a 'blueprint' like Harry did. I think he meant well and of course sex is different for men then women, but I can't see the kiss as a blueprint.I am glad that he supports Hermione's decision however. I feel bad for Ron, he means well, but Hermione is right. They just don't 'fit'.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
It was just something to grow on. She wants tenderness so badly, now she has something to compare her future relationships to. But of course, Harry is just a young bloke, and means well :)It was very important for Hermione to know Harry 'had her back'. She is feeling very alone right now. Thanks!
I can't wait to see who she finds to provide that tenderness.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
*Grin* Just you wait!
This story is so touching. Please update soon.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thanks! My beta has the next chapter. It'll be up soon :)
It's interesting the contrasts you use; Ginny and Harry have a soft, tender, romantic love, shared intimact, whereas Ron is sexually using Hermione soley for gratifiacation and Hermione is not seeing it. For someone so bright, she is not really considering the relationship at all. You have each character's character down so well: Ginny's patience, caring, and understanding of Harry and his needs; Harry irrational behavior and his trait of hurtling forward without fully rationalizing his actions - coupled with his guilt of Severus death. His 'I didn't get to say good bye in the courtroom was so heart breaking. Hermione, ever the voice of reason and clairty, understands Harry so well, sees Ron for how he is and accepts him, but can't see what's best for herself. And Ron - as insensitive as ever, selfasorbed, thoughtless and dense. But I have a few questions: How did Severus' wand get to Dovetown? Did Severus show up in his portrait? Why is Hermione sticking with Ron, especially when she can 'feel' and 'experience' a love like Ginny and Harry have, even vicariously through the noises that come to her through the wall. In a way this story really brings out the deep feelings of loss and the varying steps that each person goes through in mourning.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
You've asked some very good questions. First, about the broken wand: it is a clue that Harry is hanging onto as proof that Snape is still alive. All I can say is that "all shall be revealed" in due course :)Since Severus was not around to sit for his portrait,it wasn't magical, because I believe the headmaster or headmistress sits for thier portrait soon before they are to stepdown. As for Dumbledore, he had a year to get his portrait done, so I think Snape's portrait was like Muggle one, because they wouldn't have had Snape's magic to make it like a Wizarding portrait. The next chapter will answer the Hermione and Ron question, so I'll keep quiet about that.Thank you so much for your comments! :)
I'm wondering about Harry's fanatical belief that Severus is alive. Could it be magically induced?
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
No, it's the guilt that is eating away at him. He NEEDS to believe that Snape is still alive because if he is, then there is hope for him to be able to apologize to him and make things right. Thanks :)
