I am a grateful fan of Ms. Rowling and of her overwhelming Byronic Character, Severus Snape! Please check out the first chapters of each fic (except for "How Can I Tell You," which is on Chapter 2) to see pictures of the Heroines.
Admins' Note: Livvy6 died suddenly on February 22, 2012, leaving behind her husband, six-year-old daughter, and seventeen stories well-loved by the TPP community. All who knew her—including those in Harry Potter fandom and all of us, here—are richer for having known her.
Requiescat in pace, Livvy. Always.

Thank you! I am so happy you enjoyed it!Thanks :)
Nice chapter. I like how they finally got together and I loved Hermione destroying the mirror.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Yes, I think it was so important that Hermione destroyed that mirror. Thanks :)
Loved, past tense! Hope she remembers that! :)
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Very true!Thanks :)
His declaration, confession followed by asking her to be his wife was so touching. BUt I have to admit to liking the end of the chapter best, when Eugene asks about being adopted and then when he asks about Lily. Really good writing there.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thanks! That was what Eugene wanted more than anything, to be a part of a real loving family. It was what they all wanted, actually. Thanks :)
This is very good, I have enjoued reading the story.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thanks. We are about wrapped up just about three more chapters to go now. Thanks :)
yay! a happy ending is forthcoming (or fifthcoming). thanks so much for this great update.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
LOL! Something like that. I think three more chapters more. I have it finished so I have to look at my files. I hope you enjoy the ending! Thanks :)
I started reading this last night and got interuped. Great chapter. I like that they talk things through. It looks like there are still a few problems ahead of them. This is one of my favorites right now. Please up date soon.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Absolutely. There will be one more hurdle they will have to overcome between themselves, you know, boundaries in a relationship, expectations, and all that. But it will be about three more chapters now. I'll get it in the queue as soon as I can. Thanks :)
It's so nice to see him move beyond the madness. He can finally recognize real love.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Yes, now he has to get comfortable with the idea. Thanks :)
I really like this and I'm glad they are going to be a complete family.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thank you. There will be a couple of bumps still, but they'll get it sorted out :)
Most amazing chapter yet. Her love really healed him, and forced him to fight for his happiness. I can fell a happy ending coming on.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
I do love a happy ending! Glad you liked it :)
How did Severus end up with that mirror? It seems more than just a mirror. I'm realing enjoying your story.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Severus was drawn to Grasmere because of Lily's wish to live there one day when they had been friends. The house was vacant and he needed shelter, so he came upon this old house. The mirror itself showed nothing, just like the mirror that was similar to Hermione's at Garden Cottage. It was his mind that was ill, mixed with the lack of so many memories. Everything he heard or saw was all in his mind with guilt feeding the delusions. Thanks :)
Wonderful chapter! I love how much Severus has come to understand about his previous life and how selfish Lily had been, how badly she had used him. With Hermione, he now knows just how being loved is supposed to feel, and he has come to know that his happiness is intertwined with Hermione, Eugene, and their own children that will come in time. I wish they would get married now... but I guess I can wait until before next fall, before Eugene goes to Hogwarts.I think Severus' decision not to return to his old home was a wise one. Somehow it just seemed like that house and every single thing in it had been cursed, and I don't think everything could be because of "all my faults and mental instabilities." There was just something very wrong there.Great chapter!!!Beth

After a while, when you live in madness, leaving that place and starting to heal can make you so much stronger. Then if you return to that place, city, house, it can trigger so much that a person could feel that the place is cursed. Thanks :)
I was thinking about that mirror...could it have been hexed in some way and used as a tool to torture Severus and slowly push him into insanity? Or was it really all just Severus. I wonder. At any rate, it's probably a good idea that Severus has decided not to set foot in that house again. As for the rest, it's wonderful to see Severus apparently ready to move on and build a life with Hermione and Eugene!
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Places and objects can really give a person triggers that will send them slipping into madness once more. But now it is over and the mirror is gone. He even had an episode with Hermione's mirror in the spare room, but it is not triggering anything in him. He's realizing Lily never appreciated his feelings and emotions like Hermione does. Thanks :)
Hello there! been enjoying several of your fix. was wondering when, if ever, you were going to finish this one.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Now how do you know me? I'm a mystery author! Must be a pretty lousy one if people are already realizing it's me!Thanks :)

Thank you! Next chapter will be a special one. Thanks :)
Wonderful update, I had tears in my eyes both of joy for Hermione and Severus joy and of sorrow for the maddening pain Severus have gone through due to Lily. A truly brilliant story!!!
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thank you! I appreciate your kind words. I hope you like how I start wrapping things up.Thanks :)

Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
What are those? I'm glad you liked it :)
Response from keske (Reviewer)
oh they are wonderful beautiful leafy plants!
maybe it needed that many steps back to finally move steadily forward. superb update. thanks so much
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Yeah, two steps forward, one step back. Things will get better from here on out. Thanks:)
*Sniff* That story about Severus' first kiss just made my heart break. The rest of the chapter was quite lovely, with Severus being so very wonderful, even if it was his first time.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thank you. I was happily relieved when some reviewers said they found Severus' "first time" more on the realistic side." I think a man approaching his forties would quickly learn his arse from his elbow than if he were, say, sixteen. Thanks! :)
Another great chapter. Thanks Please keep them coming.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thank you!
what a sad life he's had. thank goodness he has hermione now. superb update. thanks so much
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Yes, Hermione has given all of herself to him. Now we'll have to wait for the morning after. Thanks :)
That was sweet and very realistic. Thank you for writing Severus caring for his partner, but not a sex god at his first try.Sometimes wonder if teenager realise what severe wounds they inflict on each other. Poor Severus.I really enjoyed this chapter.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
I know. Some of the deepest wounds can be from that adolescent period of life. Thanks :)
Hey There! Omg! That mud room sees a lot of action! Oh to be a fly on the wall in there! Sooooo Awesome. And the second half of this chappy was perfect. I wanted to slap him when he called her Miss Granger after his accident. It was totally him though. Great Job! Much Love ~ Brena
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
LOL! I'm sure Hermione wanted to slap him as well for a moment there. Poor guy! Thanks :)
Somehow the scene in the mudroom far outshined the lemons in the bedroom. But the remembrances - I really feel sorry for him.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Oh, yes! Those stolen moments can be the best. But yes, it was good though for Severus to get all that off of his chest. Thanks :)
