I am a grateful fan of Ms. Rowling and of her overwhelming Byronic Character, Severus Snape! Please check out the first chapters of each fic (except for "How Can I Tell You," which is on Chapter 2) to see pictures of the Heroines.

Reviews for The Unforgiven
That was so very tragic.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
It was very hard on all of them. But now that Snape has his memories, things will start to improve bit by bit. Thanks :)
Awwww that's just so damned cute! You know exactly the kinds of emotions to stir up, you know that? Damned skilled author stirrin' up these ole heartstrings.... Just what I needed today of all days. Thank you. =)
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
LOL! Glad you enjoyed it. I do love to stretch out the angst a bit :) Thanks.
I have a feeling of hope for Severus after reading this chapter. Little by little he is beginning to open up to Hermione and to talk about what his life was like and what he thought was possible for him.For her part, Hermione is patient without being a door mat, and Severus is beginning to trust her. Now she only has to figure out the best way to get Severus' memories back. Ginny is so worn out with her own problems with Harry and Ron that she has no patience left to try to help anyone else.Great chapter!Beth

Hermione is a strong woman who won't take crap. She cares deeply for him, but won't let him take his anger out on her, which is good. Thanks :)
is a very sad day for them all. poor kids...~gives them a werewolf puppy to carefor too...but grumbles when it wont let go of her pants~ gawd dammet what is it with puppies and my pants! i swear to gawd! in the wise words of a song called Time Flies, Every ending is a new beginning
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
LOl! A very rough day for them all, hopefully now that Snape has his memories, things will get much better for him and for all of them as well. Thanks :)
What a surprise to see Harry standing at the door to Garden Cottage! I'm glad that he came to give Severus his memories, and hopefully he will be better for having seen and talked to his professor. Even though it was a sometimes tense exchange, I think it was a good thing.Severus seems to be loads better having his memories restored. Talking to Hermione when he came back from his walk, it seemed that they had crossed a chasm and that there is even more hope for their future.Well done!Beth
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Things will be better for Severus, but it's one of those two steps forward, one step back kind of deals. Still more drama to unfold. Thanks :)
finally! i hope this isn't two steps forward and three steps back! wonderful update. thanks so much
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thank you! I would like to say that it is smooth sailing from here on out, but no, things won't get that bad. Thanks :)
Hermione really is rather brave in dealing with Snape all on her own. Having read the other reviews, I know that his state of mind is due to lacking so many memories. I really like this idea of yours. You've done a really good job with this chapter.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yes, the lack of memeories it the reason, however, all will not be completely resolved when he gets them back. Thanks:)
Ah---very good! Now we're getting somewhere---if even while still besotted with incomplete memories of Lily, he can finally "see" Hermione! Harry, HURRY UP!
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
There is more going on with the "Harry" situation that will be revealed later. Thanks for reviewing!
I'm worried too about Severus, he doesn't sound totally sane. Is it just because he's lacking some of his memories or complications from the snake venom or has he been cursed? I'm glad Hermione is there for him. Unknown author, you're doing a wonderful job with this story.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thank you. No he has not been cursed. His condition is from loss of memories vital for his mind to function properly. It brought on a complete emotioal breakdown that will take time to recover from. Thanks :)
poor severus... he really does need those memories back, why hasn't Harry answered?
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Well, she wrote to Ginny. There's obviously a problem, but it will be revealed in due course. Thanks :)
Why doesn't Harry respond? It's hard to see Severus so... fragile... for lack of a better word. Hermione needs to just go dig up Harry!
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
That is a good question. She has written to Ginny. So what is up with Ginny? That will come out. Yes, I do hate seeing Snape like this, but he won't remain this way forever. Thanks :)
This is fantastic! I can't wait to see what happens next.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
I'm glad you are enjoying this! Next chapter will be up soon. Thanks :)
I was thrilled when I got the notice that you had posted this new chapter! And a fabulous chapter it is.
Hermione's Gryffindor courage was really tested when she was helping Severus. In his dilutional state, he would become quite a handful. When he was sitting before the old mirror in Hermione's guest room crying for Lily, I wanted to cry. However, I did begin to feel a little hope when he admitted that he had blanks in his memory.
Later when he pushed Hermione away when she placed her hand on his back to comfort him after he and Eugene had argued about Lily, I was afraid that he had hurt her badly. Then when Eugene punched Severus in the stomach and scolded him, Severus' abrupt return to reality made me know that he still could tell right from wrong, and his apology to Hermine was a good sign. I became even more hopeful when the Potions master said he would like to accept her invitation to have dinner.
Noticing the smudges on her face, when Severus "whispered, “I don’t think you have ever looked lovelier, Hermione.” Well, I nearly fell off my chair. Well done, mystery author!
I can't imagine why Ginny has not replied to Hermione's owl. It makes me wonder if Harry is sick or, perhaps, in St. Mungo's. Or perhaps Ginny herself has become ill.
This is a wonderful update. Thank you so much! Beth
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
I'm glad you liked the progression and Severus' realization that he had done too far. There is more snarkiness to come. But this was a turning point. As for Ginny, well... it will all come out why she hasn't replied to Hermione. Thanks:)
Interesting development. And what the hell is Ginny up to? :)
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
All will be revealed about what's going on with the Potters soon. Thanks :)
Oh, that bit at the end was just so... sigh.Lovely, of him to try.Eugene is such a wonderful boy.And Hermione must have so much patience!Looking forward to the next chapter!A~
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Hermione does have a lot of patience, but she will have her moments where she will not be able to handle him and won't try. Severus will have to learn to help himself. So happy you liked the ending. Thanks:)
Why hasn't Harry sent the memories? I would think a note saying that she needed his memories to help restore his sanity would have brought the entire clan. (If for no other reason than to get her away from Snape.)
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
That would be assuming that Harry read the letter. Remember, she wrote to Ginny, not Harry. But it will all come out why there has not been any reponse yet. Thanks :)
wow - what a turn around - what can it mean- and is Ginny hiding the mail from a psycho Harry? I can't wait to find out!!
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Ginny hiding mail...you are in the ballpark...but there is much more too it. But all will be revealed. This also doesn't mean that Severus has come to himself and is now a readjusted person. He has still a lot to overcome. But, this was a turning point. Thanks :)
Oh wow, what a great chapter! What is taking Ginny so long? She could at least say something even if it's "Go to Hell". Seriously, this is important and will make Harry so happy! Argh!! It was so scary to see Severus acting that way at the end. Physical abuse is such a horrid thing and with the child hood he had I'd hope he was beyond that type of behaviour even in his current state. Anyways, thanks so much for the update. I can't wait for more! Much Love ~ Brena
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Being in the state of mind he is in would bring about rages that could turn vicious, if not controlled. I think he was ashamed of what he did, and it brought him to his senses. But by the way he reacted, there is obviously something about Hermione touching him that really frightens him. More on that end later. Oh, and also what's up with Ginny and Harry. Thanks :)
oh wow - my heart jsut aches for him - can't wait to read more -
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Yes, there will be more gut-wrenching scenes like that to come. One in particular that will have Hermione reeling and unable to deal with him. Severus will have to come to a point where he has to deal with himself. Thanks :)
It's really sad to see Severus so vulnerable and confused. I think it's very realistic that he could end up in such a state, with all he's been through, and now, missing his memories. Great job, can't wait to read more!
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Yes, it will get more confusing as Hermione learns more about it, and as she tries to shield Eugene from his rages. But Hermione is strong and can hold her own. The next chapter will be a good example of that process. Thanks :)
How sad to see him so unwell. I hope getting his memories back heals him. Poor Eugene, he must feel rejected since he's never known Professor Snape any other way. Chilling and shocking chapter.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Yes, it will be difficult for Eugene to handle. He cares for the professor deeply and knows the feeling is mutual. But Hermione will continue to be there for Eugene and try to explain things the best she can and also reassure him of her and the professor's love for him. Thanks :)
His state is so very sad. I'm sure the memories will help, but his mind is so addled... Hopefully he will recover fully.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
It is going to take a lot of care and patience for Severus to get himself out of this. Because after he finds out the truth, he then has to face reality, and that is hard. Thanks :)
Awww. This is so sad. I love this story so much. I was so happy to see Hermione fighting to get him to be healthy again. I can't wait to see how she ends up getting his memories back! Hopefully Harry will get to see him. Please update again soon. Much Love ~ Brena
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
It will be a hard road ahead for all of them. Getting Harry to Gramere will be quite a feat-not to mention how Snape will respond to him. Poor Hermione! She loves Eugene so much she's willing to put up with all of his crap. Thanks for reviewing :)
Very nice chapter. I can't wait for more.
Response from livvy6 (Author of The Unforgiven)
Thank you!
