Awww, you made me cry but in a happy way. This story has been a lovely ride and I'm so glad I read it.

*beams* Thanks for reading it and thanks so much for reviewing, too!
What a lovely ending to a wonderful story! I really enjoyed this, and am sad to see there won't be any more updates. Thanks for sharing this gift of a story with us!
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
Thanks for following it, for reading and reviewing!
SO wonderful, and I'm glad that Hermione and Severus managed to get through the long distance relationship (although I wish they hadn't needed to wait 6 years)! I'll truly miss waiting for updates on this story, and it's definitely on my short list of very favorite stories. Thanks so much for writing this!
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
Thank you so very much for liking this story despite its OOC characters and the not-turning-out-perfectly ending. I wanted this to be canon compliant, so they just had to wait six years. No way around this.Hugs from Germany!
This was adorable- the only thing missing were the reactions of Harry and Ron
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
I think both of them knew that Hermione wasn't happy, so it couldn't have been too big a shock that she wanted a divorce. And if you referred to her telling them who she's fallen in love with, that didn't happen here, of course, as Carlos has to remain hidden. Thanks so much for reviewing!
that was a lovely story. thanks for sharing it
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
It was fun writing it! Thanks so much for reviewing!
I loved this story, sad to see it end!
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
I'm affraid it's not into me to write really long stories ;-)Thanks so much for reviewing!
Beautiful! I loved the ending from Luca's point of view.
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
Thank you so very much, dear!
Thank you for such an interesting story. I really enjoyed the contrast you drew between the characters "living the wizard life" and those that don't. In your story it seemed getting out of wizarding society makes one much more balanced and reasonable.I am looking forward to your next story.
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
I really didn't think of it this way, but you are right - the wizarding world is a very secluded world, and that is never a good thing. Snape, having escaped it, got the chance to live a completely different life - now how many of us can say that this isn't an appealing thought? Thanks so much for reviewing!
It was good to see a happy ending for Luca and Serverus.. Well done!
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
I like happy endings! Thanks so much for reviewing!
My jaw dropped, it's over? But I wasn't ready to stop reading. So now I've gotten my whine out of my system. thanks for sharing such a neat story-- and giving it a good ending. But are you sure it is really finished? Maybe a sequel?
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
*snigger* I already thought about that, but won't be able to write one in the near future - too much other stuff to do. sorry that you were surprised - I don't have long stories in my fingers and brains, you know ;-)Thanks so much for reviewing!
this was lovely, although i am seriously sad to see it end. i liked seeing the perspective of the little one thinking about mummy's other, secret life, and the dynamic between her and her daddy was very sweet.i know that you ended it in a good way, in a good place, even though this is one story i wouldn't have minded seeing go on for years - i really love the world you created here. i will miss it.only one tiny little mistake this this time: "she couldn't imagine leaveving Daddy" should be "leaving."
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
Thanks for finding the mistake - I managed to put that one in after nss released it ;-)Thanks for reading and reviewing it, and more thanks for liking it although it was OOC and all. I don't have long stories in me, dear. At least not in this world.Hugs from Germany!
Yay! I've so enjoyed this story, I rather hate to see it end, even at such an appropriate stopping point.
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
Thanks, dear. I simply couldn't think of anything else I could write ;-)
oh how wonderful... just perfect. I feel a little sad it's all over now!
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
Thanks - for reviewing as well as for being a little sad!
Very nice, I liked how the families blended.
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
Thanks! I thought hateful children and tears and all wouldn't fit here ;-)
ohhhh, I just love a happy ending! And without reading anything about you, you either have a 6 yr old, or have spent much time around one because that description could not be any more realistic! Excellent story :)
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
*beams*My son is six - I wouldn't have thought it would show in the story! Thanks so much for reviewing!
Thank you for this wonderful story!
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
It was my pleasure - thanks so much for reviewing!
Yeh a happy ending to a very fine story. Loved it all. Glad they are all together on the Island now.
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!
So sweet and happy. I hope that their family life now can make up for the heart ache in the past. Such a fascinating story. I can't believe the amazing path you took, and the lovely closeness you built for them. =] My hat is off to you, dearest!! *hugs*Rhiannon
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
Thank you so very much! I didn't really believe that it would work out so well - actually, this was planned as a one-shot - so I am very glad that you liked it. True love, in whichever constellation, is my weak point ;-)
what a wonderful ending. The whole story has been fun to read and I have enjoyed it. I am sad it is over. Looking forward to your next story!
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
*snigger* The next story will be a threesome: Lucius, Hermione, Severus, inspired by my beta Dreamy_Dragon. I think it is time for a bit of smut again ;-)Thanks so much for reviewing!
And a wonderful ending it was, too. I don't know who was happier, Carlos and Tessa or little Luca. I think Luca getting what she had always wanted was the more heart-warming, in my opinion. Just perfect. They waited a long time, but the strongest relationships withstand the test of time. Thank you for writing this story. I loved every single word of it.
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
*hugs you*Thank you so much for reading it, reviewing it, and erasing the last remaining mistakes, too. I'm glad I didn't offend you with the OOC characters (well, I hope I didn't) and the unusual constellation here with Ron in the picture, somehow, and the adultery, and the long time they needed to get together for good. I did this for the children, actually, which I consider only fair - as parents, you have to do what is best for your kids even if it grieves you. At least for a while. Had Hermione decided to stay with Ron after all, it wouldn't have been good for Rose and Hugo, as I truly believe that an unhappy parent makes unhappy children. *hugs you again*
great plot, a novel approach that worked really well
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!
Such a difficult position Hermione is in. Carlos will be a wonderful father, so no worries there. Her longing for Luca will be terrible. I am sure she will be torn between her two families, for lack of a better word. I am glad she confided in George. I think he can be trusted. He appears to be a true friend.
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
I always loved the twins, and I like George a lot. He surely is a good friend. Epilogue will be up soon. Thanks for reviewing!
That was an amazing chapter. But as I said before, I'm sad for her to have to leave her baby so soon. I know she doesn't have a choice, but were I her, I could never do this, even with the worst of circonstances.
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
Nor could I, I think. But then, I don't have to chose between two families/between children. Must be horrible. I promise to finally resolve the problem with the epilogue! Thanks - as always - for reviewing!
OMG, This was so great! I'm so happy George knows what the deal is and he's totally cool with it. I was also happy to see their baby being born without any additional drama. I was so afraid that someone was going to figure out that she was pregnant! This was such a great chapter! My husband and I are talking about having a baby soon, so when I read about pregnancy things I get all gushy inside, and this was just great! I can't wait till thats me!!! Anyways thanks for the great update, and I can't wait to see more! Much Love ~Brena
Response from chivalric (Author of At the Beach)
Hi, Brena, the scene where Tessa gives birth to Luca (and the time before, her reading and not realising that she's in labour) was adapted from my own pregnancy/the birth of my son. It was a most wonderful night, and I hope your wish will get fullfilled soon. In the meantime, thanks for reading and reviewing!
