A happy sap... yes, that's true. This is the first day of Hermione's return, so he's in a bit of a fog. He hasn't lost all his snark, and we'll see it pop up eventually.

These transitionary chapters are quite fluffy and fun. The Lucius angle will rear its ugly head soon enough and we'll have some action again.
Glad to see that Hermione and Severus are together again. I'm wondering how they will deal with Lucius now. Was a bit disappointed that he still turned out to be a dirt bag.

Good lord, bloody Merlin - Lucius is horrible! WTF happened? I thought that you siad he had changed? She's going to have to go back and knock some sense in his head!! I loved Severus reactions to Hermione's returning... but either she's going to spend days in a Pensieve or craming through her studyguides and journals to catch up! Too bad she lost all that she'd gained from Severs the second time around... in the loop.

Well, Lucius did change! He doesn't hold anything against Muggle-borns, he just wants to rule the world. Not a happy outcome, I know. I feel bad about the loss of what Hermione had gained too. There will be some resolution of that sometime soon. Severus will help her at first, as will Harry. I think, though, every once in a while for quite a long time she'll learn something that will just make her gape.
I think my head just exploded... :)

Oh, no need to fear, this puppy's been finished for a while. It will run its course. I know it's been a very long wait, but now that they're together, it makes it all the more sweet. (At least, that's what I'm hoping!)

It does make it sweeter, in the end. If there wasn't such a big gap between them it wouldn't have had such an impact on the story line - and that would have been...not good. I think what you've written is absolutely thrilling. :)

Severus' Hermione is back, YAYS!!!But that pain-in-the-arse Lucius just changed from causing one form of misery to another, even after all of Hermione's hard work and sacrifices. Not to mention Severus'. That's it ... Mr. Pureblood Platinum Prat Sr. needs to DIE!!!

It's a bit disappointing that after all that hard work, Lucius has only changed in direction. But, as Albus said from the beginning, you never know what will happen when you're messing with time. Something needs to happen with him. They didn't kill off Voldie just to be ruled by a better looking despot.

Yes... FINALLY! Poor Severus has waited so long. Now he can relax and enjoy his love.
Well worth the wait 
I really liked the Doc Brown / Back to the Future-esque explaination that Dumbledore gives Hermoine about her trip. An image of Doc Brown in wizard robes rabbling at 'Marty' Potter kept me in stitches for a good 10 minutes. The reunion scene was wonderfully sweet and endearing. I can't wait to see how things go from here.

I was surprised by the way Lucius turned out. Unfortunately he's still a pain in the ass. I loved the chapter and I'm looking forward to hearing the 'new' back story on Ron.

Unfortunately, there's really no changing Lucius. He's lived the high life too long and somewhere thinks he's entitled.You know pretty much most of the Ron backstory. Severus will explain a bit more. We will eventually see Mr. Jealousy himself in a future chapter. I'm sure you can imagine it won't be a pretty encounter. 
Lucius!! I wonder if this new-and-improved Lucius remembers a friendship with Hermione... I'm glad there is no misunderstanding, that Severus now knows this is his Hermione and they are a couple again. thanks for bringing her back!

Oh, June, he certainly does! Hermione will definitely try to use that past connection. You'll have to wait and see how successful she is with it. Mwahahahaha!After such a long, drawn-out wait for Severus, I couldn't put him through any more. He deserved to know the minute she popped back into his present. Hermione wouldn't have let him stay in the dark for long in any case. She was as anxious to see him as he was to see her.

Yes, it's hard to believe that Lucius Malfoy would ever want such power! Poor Hermione has much catching up to do. She will be surprised over and over again in the next few chapters.

Lucius has always been a maniac, he just has a different viewpoint now. I solemnly promise to never kill off Severus or Hermione (permanently!) You'll find out the plan for Lucius in the next chapter and we'll slowly see what's up with everyone else as time and chapters go on. Hermione has a lot to catch up on. It would be very confusing. Severus will help her to adjust, as will Harry. At least some people know about her little trip to the past, but most will never know.
