A tale of set-ups, sniping and silliness in large doses. When Ginny sends in an advertisement for the 'Lonely Hearts' Section of the Daily Prophet for Hermione, neither friend really anticipates a reply--that is, until Lucius sends one behind Severus' back, neatly forcing Severus to continue the correspondence. Despite their initial arguments, Severus and Hermione soon find themselves enjoying their correspondence, though they have no idea who the other is and that they seemingly despise each other in 'real life'! How on earth will this unlikely match of mistaken identities, verbal sparring and postscripts resolve itself?

known as Coco; also bella, gildedglamour on LJ, etc.
i'm a great many things, including:
indian & burmese
a proud harpy
a little crazy
creative and lovable... most of the time!
always vanishing at inappropriate times thanks to that dreaded 'RL'
really bad at updating regularly
apparently 'elegant', probably really not.
i like writing, slytherin men, writing about slytherin men... oh and reviews too.
:]
REGARDING ALL THAT'S LEFT
In case you were wondering why it vanished off the face of the earth, not to worry. It's undergoing a significant bit of revision, but it'll be back eventually. It'll probably be under a different name, too, but the premise will largely be the same. Thanks to everyone who supported me through it; I just wanted to make a few changes but it'll be back, I promise.
Reviews for Dangerous Liaisons
I loveloveLOVE all the letters or are they owls going back and forth. I was cracking up at Lucius induendo and Hermione's flat Ron refusal. Can you blame her? No I cannot.
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
No, neither can I! I really enjoy writing Lucius, he's very fun and I love to let his drawling style of speech come through. Glad you're enjoying it! Thanks for the review.
I'm glad that the anonymous notes are definitely from teh appropriate person, since it is getting complex and interesting. Keep'm coming!
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
Oh it will get worse, believe me. The one thing with this format is that it's hard to keep up with who's mailing who and I do try to put it in some sort of coherent order, but it doesn't always work. Despite that, the confusion just makes it more fun (for me, anyway) so oh well. Thanks for reviewing!
Wonderful. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to more. :-D
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
Thank you! :)
I'm delightfully surprised that the snarking has begun already and they aren't even writing as T and M yet!
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
Pshh, they're the same people. Ergo, snarking in any shape and form. :)
"P.S. Bite me" hilarious!
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
Thanks sunny! :)
This is delightful.
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
Why thank you

! :)
Some of these lines had me literally laughing out loud. Not a good thing as both the doctors and patients kept looking at me as if I’d lost my rocker! Geeze. ‘Sex-god version of Shakespeare, apparently.’ Is brilliant! That Sybill likes Madam Puddifoot’s nearly made me snort my coffee. ‘Do you like candied hearts and pink confetti, Professor?’ anyway, very well done, enjoying the tidbits and feel like I’m sneaking into their desks riffling through their papers to figure out what’s happening. Too fun.
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
Hahahaha! What a wonderful review. I'm very happy that I made you laugh out loud! Haha, it does feel like it, doesn't it? Or perhaps screening letters before giving them to their recipients. Thanks for the lovely response, beaweasley!
Whew ... lots going on in this one!Looking forward to more.
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
Thanks, Stormy Skize! I'm glad you like it.
Again a wonderful chapter that made me giggle out loud! I hope that there is more where that came from :)
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
There certainly is, carley! :)
What a riot! This is sooo funny! I love the flow of the story. I also love seeing glimpses of the characters lives, friendships, and relationships in their letters. I think your writing style in the form of exchanges great. I love the Draco and Ginny factor. That was a nice surprise. I also like the personalities of Lucius, Minerva, Hermione, and Severus that are emerging.
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
Thanks
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
! I like this form, it allows for much more subtle way of giving information and it's often fun to hide little secrets around for people to find. Lucius is probably my favourite character because he's such an arse. :) Thanks for reviewing!
This was another very funny chapter, you have really got all the people down pat as far as their personalities go with out making them seem silly. Another chaptor soon please.
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
Thanks
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
! I'm really glad you think so, I've been making an honest effort to keep to the characters as much as I can. Coming soon!
This is hilarious! I love it, and I can't wait for more!
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
Thanks

With so much uncensored emotion in these notes, it's a wonder the owls don't spend their evenings gossiping about the missives they carry. I have always thought that the birds on the telephone lines were listening in on conversations through their feet and then sharing the juicy tidbits when they congregate in the evenings - so why not the owls? They're likely not as clueless as they pretend.
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
Now there's a thought. I can really see myself writing a spinoff one shot about what the owls have to think about all these crazy letters. Goodness, don't give me ideas, I'm running madly around writing chapters as it is!
What fun! I look forward to more snippy exchanges in the future. Thanks, JoAnne
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
Much sniping up ahead, I promise. Thanks JoAnne!
Once again...can't wait for an update on this. Great chapter! Thanks for the laughs.
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
You're most welcome, kimbee. :)
Thanks for the warning. i saved my keyboard from water spray just in time! Bite me. Just love it!
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
Hahahaha! Good, so these warnings do come in handy! I think TPP should put an 'extreme silliness' warning, because it's just as bad as BDSM or noncon, I reckon. Thanks,
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
!
Bite me! LOL I love it. Livvy
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
Hahaha, thanks livvy!
Love the letters format. Cant wait to see what the letters to each other are going to be like!
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
Thank you! I'm really enjoying this format. More to come soon. Thanks for reviewing,
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)

This is very, very, very funny! Thanks for the warning in the beginning. I've had more food and/or drink splattered on my monitor than I can remember. Please hurry and update
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
Hahaha! I knew there was a good reason why I put the warning there. Update coming soon! Thanks
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
!
Marvellous, absolutely wonderfully marvellous!!!! I found my self laughing several times while reading, and I am not sure which letter was the best, the combination of the all I think:-))This is a brilliant story, and a brilliant way of telling it, so update again soon!!!
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
Hahaha! I don't think I have a favourite letter either, but the 'Won-Won: No.' one ranks pretty high up! Thanks for reviewing,
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
. More coming soon!
This is almost better than the previous chapter. And thank you for the warning. It avoided great damage on the screen, for which I'm greatful.
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
Only almost? Haha, oh well. Oh dear, you're the third person who's said so. Looks like the warnings are here to stay! Thanks for the review,
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
!
Oh dear! Well, I managed to swallow my coffee safely, but there may be a few crumbs on my keyboard - sniggering and toast don't mix.
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
No, they don't, do they? QAh well, one must prioritise: which is more important, toast or sniggering? You decide,
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
. Thanks for the review. ;)
Oh, there's a great potential for misunderstandings and being torn between the person they write to and the one sitting next to them in the Great Hall!
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
Preeeecisely! Much fun up ahead here. Thanks for the review,
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
!
This is Sooooooo funny! Gosh, those letters between Severus and Hermione are a hoot! I can't wait for more. Simply too good!
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
Hahaha, thanks
Response from bellarossi (Author of Dangerous Liaisons)
! They're so much fun to write. More soon!
I was chuckling through out this entire chapter - I love the last correspondence with her addressing it to the Greasy Git of the Dugeons and the Bite me - well that was priceless -cannot wait to see what you cook up next.
