A tale of set-ups, sniping and silliness in large doses. When Ginny sends in an advertisement for the 'Lonely Hearts' Section of the Daily Prophet for Hermione, neither friend really anticipates a reply--that is, until Lucius sends one behind Severus' back, neatly forcing Severus to continue the correspondence. Despite their initial arguments, Severus and Hermione soon find themselves enjoying their correspondence, though they have no idea who the other is and that they seemingly despise each other in 'real life'! How on earth will this unlikely match of mistaken identities, verbal sparring and postscripts resolve itself?

REGARDING ALL THAT'S LEFT
In case you were wondering why it vanished off the face of the earth, not to worry. It's undergoing a significant bit of revision, but it'll be back eventually. It'll probably be under a different name, too, but the premise will largely be the same. Thanks to everyone who supported me through it; I just wanted to make a few changes but it'll be back, I promise.

Lovely chapter! You had me back into the story in no time, and I loved every line of it. Can't event ell which is my favourite one, there were so many funny and witty comments... *sniggers* - I just hope that this time, you won't keep us waiting so long... ;o)

I love this! The letters are funny, and I can't wait til they find out who they are cooresponding with! I especially like Draco and Ginny together, I always thought they would make a interesting couple. Draco needs someone like Ginny to keep him in line, and the whole rival houses thing, makes it even more interesting. As for Ron, he has never been my favorite, although he did mature somewhat during book seven, in the epilogue, he seems just as immature as ever. I lost interest in Hermione/Ron a long time ago, when I realized that they would never make it as a couple, at least not for long. Do they even have ANY interests in common??? Anyway, looking forward to the next chapter! I hope this is going to be finished!Grace

I've always loved Draco/Ginny, as well as Draco/Hermione. I've been reading a lot of Dramione lately and I think I might take the plunge and write some myself. But I have to admit, Draco/Ginny is my favourite Draco pairing. Hermione/Ron NEVER worked for me; that was the one thing I really didn't like about the latter books. JKR's romance was just... urgh. And that is the short version of why I write SSHG. :D

It actually comes from a real life conversation with a friend about how languages can be very badly misinterpreted, especially when they are harsh like German or Chinese. Can be very amusing. :P Thanks

LOL OMG!!!! I loved that last one. Great homage to the MasterCard commercials. It really is amazing how much you can do with letters and I love the weaving of the various storylines. You are doing a great job.

I actually haven't seen the movie, which is probably a good thing because it allows me to have a totally different interpretation. I mean I know the storyline, it's famous, but the actual details I don't know which I actually quite like.

I like 'Toby' and 'Mary-Jane' a lot because they really are Severus and Hermione, stripped down to the bare essentials. I try hard to make them believable but the fact is that you can be a different person when the person you are talking to has no preconceptions about you. (We would know about that!) :)
