I loved this story and was always excited to see more of it arrive! And while I was waiting, I would read your others. All fantastic but now I'm confused. This Sasha has nothing to do with the other Sasha of your other stories, does it? If it does, then I need a timeline :D But back to this story, I love Hermione and Severus and my favorite part was where she helped him out..all night. *fans self at rememberance* I was upset when you sent her to Beauxbatons but was glad to see them come together in the end. Well done!
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
Sasha is the same child, but in different versions of my HP world. Basically, in my reality Snape and Hermione are together. Naturally, he has not died. And they have one child, Sasha. But the rest is open for variation. They meet somehow. They stay together. Some stories are humorous, some are bitter (like At all costs). Sorry for confusing you - you don't need a timeline, I need a slap for not coming up with another name ;-)Sending her to Beauxbattons was the only way. And you are not the only one who hated me for doing it. But in the end she found the love of her life!
Lovely, Chivalric! And it was so good to see Sasha again!

Hi,
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
! So glad you liked it. And I am really fond of Sasha ;-) They might come together differently from story to story, but most times, they end up with having her...Hugs from Germany, dear. Oh, and thanks for letting me use the spelle! The story should be up soon. And a certain story you betaed for me will be online today...
I'm so glad you decided to write an epilogue. Brilliant, funny and full of lovely fluffiness.
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
Honestly, I didn't have a choice. Too much nagging. Too many reviews saying "That can't be the end!" So I gave in. And am so glad you liked it!
That was just perfect. Thank you. It's always the obvious answer that is the least believable when ideas are laced with sarcasm. Sam had it right and won't ever know it.I like your snapshot of Severus and Hermione here - I've got warm fuzzies now. This has been a wonderful read.
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
Warm fuzzies - yes, that was precisely my intention *g* Thanks for enjoying the story and letting me know about it.
Great ending! I love it. The use of Sam's Point of View was wonderful and ends the story on a delightful comedic note.------ Now I want a story about...Sam! yes! a story about Sam growing up, maybe being a nanny for the Snape family for a few years after he leaves Hogwarts. Good idea, No?

,you are hereby hired as beta for the in-between-story, which will be (possibly) called "Secret Hobbies". Because everyone who suggests a sequel has to beta it. At least in my world.Honestly - interested? I'm always looking for betas who tell me honestly what they think of my stories. Dreamy and shell are perfect here, and that this epilogue is up you owe to CharmedForce. Get in contact!
Hi Chivalric,I logged onto TPP (against my better judgement) while taking a break from work to eat my lunch. What a wonderful surprise!! I thought I was reading wrong when I saw Unkissed on the Recently Added list. This is perfect. Just perfect. It's a lovely, original and funny epilogue to the story. So funny when he says that she's ruining his reputation. Are we to think that this story is a prequel to At All Costs, or do you just like the name Sasha? Thanks for such a treat. Now I want to reread the whole thing as I've been wanting to (and promised you). But I'd really better get back to work. Deadline looms.Red Roo
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
Hi, Red Roo,I must admit, I am very fond of the name Sasha. In my version of the HP world, Hermione and Snape are together and have one child, said Sasha. How they get together, if they are married or not, if their friends now or are oblivious to their luch is irrelevant. So no, At All Costs and Unkissed are not related apart from that tiny detail. Thanks so much for reviewing! It means everything to me.
I quite liked the epilogue. We learned about the baby and how their relationship is still going strong, but we learned it from a student's point of view. I wonder why know one knew that Severus had a woman? He must use a silencing charm on his room. :)
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
Of course he does. He has learned to do so during a certain night :-))) And of course he likes to keep his secrets. Thanks for reviewing!
A beautiful ending, I loved it! I admit that I am still a bit angry at Severus, and Albus, for what I feel was close to an unforgivable betrayal when they sent her away, both emotionally and educationally. But, luckely, Hermione is much more forgiving than me and she obviously came out the winner so I guess she is more correct than me:-))(I absolutely adored Sasha, that, and the "detention" was a brilliant ending to your story!!)
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
She was just lucky enough to end up with the love of her life, in the end. That soothes a lot of ruffled feathers, I guess. And honestly - she paid him back during the thunderstorm! Not that it would have been comforting for her, but they came out even and could start anew. What they did. So don't hate me too much for sending her away. I really didn't see another way to continue this story - she couldn't have stayed, not whilst being that young and his student.Any chance that you will ever talk to me again *smiles sweetly and promises to write a story after your liking*
Response from Sampdoria (Reviewer)
Oh, I will absolutely talk to you, it is Severus and Albus I want to kick in their buts:-) They could have told her why, especially Severus, he owed her that. While she still would have felt pain for having to leave, she migth not have felt so lost and worthless. And they should have made sure she got at least as good an education as she would have got at Hogwarths, they both owed her that. As I said, I wanted the happy ending and I got it so I am quite happy:-))
the ending was fantastic. Good job on your story - it was a pleasure reading it.
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
Thanks!
awww so cute, snape is so whipped by both the woman in his life. i loved this story are you going to be writing anything else?
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
YES! Definitely - I cannot not write, at least not at the moment. There are a few stories in progress, a few to be posted soon. Some I already did post... Thanks for liking and reviewing!
This was great, and a perfect way to end this story! I love Snape's reaction to his daughter. And Hermione's way of handling him! Good job!
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
Thanks! I myself melt like ice in the sun when my boy smiles at me, so I think it's a normal reaction. Especially for a hard man like Snape. I think we all agree that under his cold shell he's a quite emotional person.
Oh, this was just fabulous! Funny and sweet, and I really enjoyed Sam's point of view. A terrific end to this story! (And what's that about a sequel? Hmm?)
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
Erm, yes, um... I'm guilty. I will write a sequel, actually, I have already started it. And an in-between story featuring Sam again. One you might like. The other one everyone with a heart will hate. Hope that helps *g*
nice. i loved that while his baby and wife reduce him to mush, aside from that he's still snape. the idea that he had the baby there to eat later was twisted and funny. of course, the musings about who would slip him a potion were priceless. and btw, that banner for the story is quite lovely.
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
Praise for the banner have to go to my friend shellsnapeluver - thanks again shell! And yes, I wanted Snape to be Snape, no matter how softhearted he gets when looking at his child. After all, he would be half the fun if he changed too much ;-)
"If you wake her, I will kill you with my bare hands! It took me over an hour to sing her to sleep, so you better be quiet!"That is so Snape! Over the top devotion mixed with a death threat. Well done! I love the thought that Snape would be totally ruled by an infant. Finally having something that is totally his makes that completely believable. I think Sam is going to work out just fine. He may be Hufflepuff, but he's clever enough to know this arrangement works out in his best interest, as well.
But, of course, the thought was ridiculous. Who would be mad and stupid enough to dose Snape with a potion? Who, indeed?Thank you for a delightful little epilogue to a wonderful story. I will be hoping for that sequel.
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
Thank you so much for your review! I wanted Snape to be himself on the one hand, and completely in love with his child on the other. Seems it has worked. And the sequel - I will write an in-between story first, featuring Sam and Sasha. The sequel won't be pleasant. Hope that helps *g*
Sam started off in Hufflepuff, but ended in Slytherin. Great ending!
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
:-)))
Lovely epilogue! I thought the story ended nicely with the other ending but this really was the cherry on top! Very sweet and I love how Severus was acting all prickly to uphold his reputation. Very lovely, can't wait for the sequel!
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
Well, I had no intention to write the sequel, but too many readers considered the first ending as too open and unsatisfying. So I went soft. Sorry ;-)
That was a funny, adorable ending! Glad you salvaged the situation for them!
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
I considered a bit of humour was due after all the angst and near-rapes and pain and things. Thanks for reviewing!
Great story. It really runs the gamut from fluff to rescue to smut to angst to revenge to romance. I found it very hard to figure out just which way it was headed. It defies categorization and predictability. Very tough to do. Excellent work.
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
Does it bother you that it can't be that easily categorised? I specifically didn't put it into the Humour-area, as this would have given the wrong idea. But I thought a smile was due after all the angst and pain. Thanks for liking and reviewing!
Response from mikimoto (Reviewer)
No, it doesn't bother me that the story ranges over so many so-called categorizations. I think that is the story's strength. Personally, I hate predictable stories and predictable characters. I loved how in this story Hermione's choices initially stem from innocence then from rage then from freedom and joy. It was wonderful to see a three-dimensional Hermione that didn't worry about her halo slipping. I also like the way the caricature of Severus changes, but isn't allowed to change by his friends. They have him locked in a pretty tight, very predictable box - down to his habits and wardrobe - that he doesn't see himself as limited to. They are thinking "Stepford Severus" and he is thinking "What is the big deal? So I wear jeans." That is so true-to-life. I am always fighting my way out of cubbyholes my friends find it convenient to shove me into.I think you have written a great story. Thanks for sharing it.
This was a great way to end the story! I liked the other ending, but this is actually better! Now I'm excited about a sequel, I enjoy your writing style. Keep up the good work!
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
Thank you! I would have hated to mess it up in the last moment ;-) And the sequel... well, I'll wait what my beta says before I post it. If she hates it, I might rework it.
Nice point of view! I enjoyed seeing Snape and Hermione through someone else's eyes.Good job on a lovely story!Livvy
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
Thanks! That was the first original characte who had a line or two to say (Sasha's too young), and I am glad you liked him.
Oh fantastic! You have redeemed the word 'Epilogue' for me... As always your writing is superb. It is so lovely to have the cosy domesticity written about - they certainly banter like a married couple and his reaction to Sasha was sweet. I also liked that he kept the fact that he had a wife and child from the students - After all he has a reputation to live up/down to. Sam is a lovely gem of a cameo character. I especially loved his reaction to having to go into the Snapes' bedroom. Then there was the rose...sweet!
This is extremely presumptuous, but this little line (in italics) shot into my head and I thought I'd share it with you... But, of course, the thought was ridiculous. Who would be mad and stupid enough to dose Snape with a potion? He shook his head in disbelief,"I bet not even the fabulously brave two-time saviour of the wizarding world, Harry Potter, would try it. He might be brave, but he's definitely not stupid." They possibly had met whilst shopping or something equally boring..."Looking forward to your next fic :-)Cheers.
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
I write because I have to - the stories are jumping at me faster than I can write them down. But I write as well to be read, so reviews and the contact to my readers is the second main reason. I treasure each review, they make me happy, they make my day. I was quite worried that this epilogue would be not of the liking of my readers, so I am really glad that - until now - no one said anything bad.Concerning your little line - I just adapted it for the story. I changed it slightly, I hope you don't mind. And I gave you credit for it. Thank you so much for letting me know your thoughts, for talking to me, so to speak. I really, really love this.Best, hugs, chivalric
I loved the ending, sweet with a undertone (almost an overtone) of traditional Severus acting as the Greasy Git. Hermione was a nice foil for his temper.
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
He might act differently when no one is there to observe him... Thanks for reviewing!
This epilogue left a silly smile on my face. It was a very nice ending after all the angst. And in just one chapter you made me love Sam. ;-)
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
One of my specialities - I have a thing for fluff *g*Promise, Sam will come back in the in-between-story.
Wow, that is sooooo great, especially since I hadn't counted on an epilogue.Really a delightful end to an amazing story.I'm looking forward to the sequel (does it have a name already so we know what to look out for?).Gute Arbeit!gab
Response from chivalric (Author of Unkissed)
Hi, gab, yes, it has a name, but I won't tell you as it would give away too much about the content. As a warning: you won't like it. No one will. To soothe you: I will write an in-between story, called "Secret Hobbies". Hope that helps ;-)
