Poor Hermione. Pleasure notwithstanding, what must it be like to be at the mercy of your own body to such an extreme degree? I vaguely remember a problem I had with birth control pills many years ago, and no boyfriend available - constant unrelieved arousal may sound like fun but it really, really wasn't.
It sounds like Snape has done a little imprinting on his own. He goes so hot and cold I can't figure out which way he's going to jump. I think he's really screwed, and not in a good way. Also: Plot is Good! Very Good! Especially this Plot!!

*shaking my head* Poor them. Neither of them is really equipped to handle this situation, though they both seem to be doing the best they can (which is what worries me). Another amazing chapter!

I've loved every way that you have brought Severus and Hermione together in your stories, but there's just something exquisite in the feelings and emotions of this one. I don't know if I've ever "felt" bittersweet as profoundly. Or if it even IS bittersweet.  But whatever it is that washes over me as I read more and more of their situation I crave more.  Have I been cursed too?? ^.~Rock on Writer Woman!!!

Yes, this has definitely outgrown the PWP designation. The twin points of view in the Great Hall at breakfast were so sensitively done. Great ending to the chapter, too -- can't wait to see what they will do about Hermione's odd insight

The agony does not only shine through the lemons. It stands out as a prime piece of focus in this story. However, I love the emotional binding you have between them. Severus's refusals of the potion throughout the day were telling, Hermione's extempore in the storeroom touching. Their development is clearcut, but I still yearn for more, even though I suspect what we might get.

ouch, you're doing a great job of depicting the pain and agony she feels at the compulsion - and his valiant efforts to help her but keep his heart protected.  I hope Harry gives up on trying to find her a cure; all hell would break out if he discovered what the true cure was.  i hope he stops being mean to her in the morning; it's obviously not helping.  thanks for the new chapter!! 

I think both Hermione and Severus have formed a not-yet-realized emotional attachment to each other. Which would explain why Hermione wanted him without aid from the curse.  It would also seem that they both feel a bit bereft, since Hermione is now starting her normal school routine again.  I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. I'm very curious to see if a countercurse is ever found, and if so, what would happen to the relationship between Hermione and Severus. Would he still want her around, or would he think she wouldn't want anything else to do with him since the curse is lifted?

It might be twice as much, but never enough! I'm already greedy for more, you've cast your own spell on me with this! ;)I can't wait to see if they will try and explore this latest emotion next...~HR

Phew.  Typical Severus, trying to distance himself like that.  The scene at breakfast was so heartbreaking, with each of them recognizing how the other is haunted and isolated by this curse.  I wonder what he will do with her confession at the end.  I'm glad DeeMichelle talked you out of quitting.  This is a great story.  And I agree with Shug that it's definitely more plotty than PWP.  I hadn't even realized you had it under that category actually.  Yes, there's lots of sex, but the story you're telling seems to be more about how this curse and its demands are affecting both of them as people.

Poor Hermione and Severus. They must be going through hell. I wonder what will happen after the curse is broken?  Merlin, what if she gets pregnant?

I'd have more time for reviews if I wasn't so busy taking cold showers!!!  HOT!  While I love a noble, self-sacrificing Severus, I adore a sneaky, snarky, conniving-bastard Snape.  Will we see that?  (He's starting to break, isn't he?)  This story is wonderful torture!!!  I find myself checking my email 10 times a day to see if there's an update.  I would give anything to be in Hermione's shoes right now!!!  Keep it up! Give me more! Harder, harder.... .......ok, gotta get back in that cold shower.

Man, Severus and his restraint! There's nothing like a highly moralistic person to create extra sexual tension in a story.  Great job with this chapter, I really love how you wrote Severus.  I think that you are doing marvelously!

I'm really enjoying this story so far. It would seem that Severus is developing feelings for Hermione, especially after this chapter. It would also appear that she is returning those new feelings, or she wouldn't have been upset at the argument they had.  I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next.
