I was extatic when find out a new chapter posted . Severus is amaising in his descovery of love for Hermione . I hope that in his letter to her he did not intend to do nothing like dying because that will definitly destroy Hermione. I hope that all of as who love this story will not wait to long for next chapter to come .

Hermione's a survivor.  It was distressing that she had to be so passive/helpless in this chapter.

This chapter may not have been action-packed, but it was definitely filled with importance. Severus came to an important realization, and I can only hope that his letter tells Hermione how he really feels.

This was the most heartbreaking chapter in this tale.  I was so delighted to find that you had updated today.  I'm breathless with anticipation of Severus' confrontation with Lord Thingy.  Will we find out what became of Morgen (hopefully something tortuous, protracted, and painful--but listen to your muse and not the blood-lusting reader)?

I was thinking about this story just yesterday and today I woke up to a new chapter... YAY!!!.. Now I do not have any sway over how you write your stories.. however.. I love a good happy ending... hint..... hint!!! I am so glad that Snape has finally faced his feelings.. now the hard part.... convincing him that Hermione loves him despite the curse.

To those of us who have been following this story, it seems like forever since the dinner party at Prince House when Morgen mocked Hermione's choice of attire.  In reality it has been only twenty-four hours, and a lifetime of life changing events have taken place:Hermione, amazing in her all-white ensemble, standing up to Morgen; Hermione, on her knees to the Dark Lord, baldly stating, ‘I have nothing to say to you’; Hermione, her lips fastened about his cock; Hermione, languorous at his side; Hermione, jerking in convulsions. How could he have been so foolish as to flatter the girl’s vanity at the risk of Morgen’s retribution? How could he have endangered her by taking her into the Dark Lord’s presence? How had he ever managed to bring her safely away?And if she died, how would he be able to persevere, to do what had to be done?And now Severus has realized how much he loves Hermione, and is determined to do whatever he must to insure her wellbeing.  Dumbledore's plans no longer hold sway over him.  His own plans to save Hermione and to preserve a Dark-free world for her would guide his actions from now on.I would give much to know what he wrote in the note he left for her, but I know I'll have to be patient.  You'll tell us when you are ready for us to know.I bow to your writing skill;  it is extraordinary!  This was a wonderful chapter which reduced me to tears.  Well done!Beth

At first I'd not thought about Lord Voldermort! I did go back to reread the previous chapter before I posted my comments, and I'd wondered about the compulsion reverting to Dumbledore or transferring to Dolohov or Pettigrew, but I'd completely forgotten about LV. You do write happy endings, don't you? 'Because I find myself thinking a lot of what ifs, and only one has a nice ending. 

Does this mean the end is near???? I can't wait for the next chapter, but at the same time I don't want it to end....BTW, I reread the end of chapter 22 just yesterday (when the new chapter wasn't in the queue, but somehow I knew it was time to reread it and I'm glad I did!!!A very lovely chapter, I understand why you would put the dub-con warning in, but I wouldn't have needed it. He did what he had to do, yet without taking any pleasure for himself: that was noble and respectful and I like him very much that way!!!gab

Ooh, nice chapter. Snape is rather melodramatic, though, isn't he? At first I found it annoying, then I started to see the humour in it. And I love how you write Snape's grandmother. Very good.

this was gorgeous. i was near tears watching poor severus having to hide his concern for hermione at the beginning of the chapter, and you built beautifully to the point where he realizes he loves her, and that she becomes his reason to do what he needs to do. and i'm dying to know what was in the note!

 Ah! Cruel fate. I think you handled the compulsion and the scene with Hermione and Severus in bed very well. It would have seemed a bit much for Severus to have made love to her in such a state. I love that he knows now that he loves her. It was a beautiful revelation, one that we could see throughout this chapter especially. I love the Prince women... they are strong and sharp. I like that. I'm glad Hermione has awoken, but sad that Severus has already gone. I hope that he returns for her. ~

I can't stop reading this story I have to know how it ends It is one of my favorite stories.

Aww, what a great ending; Severus gets the recognition, love, and acceptance he's always been denied, Hermione defeats the bitch Morgen, and they all lived happily ever after lol. Thanks for sharing your story with us! :)
