I love that you have this catagorized as "Porn Without Plot"--I think the plot's fantastic! Well, alright, 'Hermione is hit by a dark curse so Dumbledore makes Snape have sex with her' is a little cheesy...but you're doing it so well! I look forward to reading more. :-)

Hermione frowned. ‘Because they’re books I haven’t read,’ she said simply.  --- This line is SO perfectly her!  And him too.  I loved it.And then, where you left us!?!?!  To quote a LoTM line --"lust puddle!!"  Very anxiously awaiting more!!!

That is probably the best descriptive sentence of Snape I have ever read. This is going to stick in my head for a while.Can't wait for an update :o)

I liked this! A very interesting plot! I hope you will update again soon, and I hope that you will let Hermione's curse stay between her, Severus and the Headmaster, at least at school. Voldydork does probably have spies at Hogwarths other than Severus, but please make this a story where the evil-doers don't get away with their scheeming? At least not let her be kidnapped and taken back to Voldydork for more torture, most stories does that and I would so appriciate a story that strayed away from the path of others. Is there a cure for this curse? I noticed that Dumbledore said that Severus would let her go when this was over? There probably should be a cure, otherwise Severus would never belive that Hermione cares for him at her own free will (because this is a SS/HG story, rigth?)Update again soon, its been a long time since a new story intrigued me like this one!

I love story from the start , and second chapter "Quagmire " is indeed wonderful and powerful . Pleas , update soon , because  I have read  this over five times , and can wait to read more.

This is indeed a very dark curse. One can only hope something good will come out of it.

Author's Response: Hi, CFDM!  I'm pretty sure I"m writing this one BECAUSE of the last book!  We all need some comfort food fan fic to get over it.  Thanks for taking the time to leave a note.

Beautiful. Hermione's thirst of knowledge is a perfect explanation for her trying to read prohibitted books. So clear, so simple. I like the way you shortcut her line of thought. Fanfiction often tends to be explicit, describing the actual process of getting to a conclusion. It is very refreshing to see the alternative.

Another powerful chapter.  How dark and awful for both of them.

Oh you are so cruel to leave not only Hermione, but your loyal readers hanging....twisting in the wind. Wonderful chapter, hopefully all twisting will ease in the next chapter.

You have communicated the horridness of their situation beautifully.  Hermione's restless passion and Severus' rigid self-control contrast vividly against each other, even though both of them are in the same boat.

I like Severus's grandmother, she's a cool character.  The chapter had a good bit of forboding and a sense of anticipation. 

Ah, so Severus has finally admitted that he loves her. His revelation was very in character and very poignant. Thanks for another excellent chapter.

ok, now you have me crying.I can't remember if the story-description gives me any hope or not---was it romance and angst, or just angst?

I had sooo hoped, that it had been Bella, and not Voldemort, who had placed the curse on Hermione, so that with her death the curse would die.  But it seems that is not the case.  And while the curse lives in her flesh, Severus will not believe that true love for him lives in her heart.  And in that mistaken understanding, his love of her will make him seek to grant her the life he deems to be full freedom---meaning not only a life free of the Dark Lord, but a life free of him as well.  He will not be as careful, as cunning, as crafty, as he would be if he sought to make it through this to the other side.  Without her, there is no "other side" for him.Masterfully written.  I am a mess.  Hope?  and happy endings?  Please?
