Care of Magical Creatures recently received two awards on "Secrets of the Dark Vaults," a Russian fanfic site. Best NC-17 and Best Maxi Translation. The Nine-Year Plan was awarded Best Mini-Fic! I'm delighted to be in translation and to please the readers in Russia!

About Mia
I came to the world of Harry Potter relatively early, after first resisting it because it just seemed too trendy. But when the first book came out in paperback in the US I picked it up at the airport when I was about to catch a flight, and two chapters in knew I would be ordering the original from amazon.co.uk in hardcover as soon as I landed.
I came to fanfic late, waiting until after I'd read DH. That means I've been totally obsessed with the fanfic world of Harry Potter, and most specifically the SS/HG ship, since August of '07.
I'm helplessly and hopelessly hooked.

I'm glad Bella makes sense to you. I've had people question the age difference and I can honestly say I don't know because I found so many different explanations for their age. I'm just assuming it was her a few years older, but not more than three or four.
That is a most magnificent way to end a chapter! I can't wait for the next.

This is not just one of my favourite MLC fics, but also one of my favourite SS/HG fics. The Marriage Law Challenge has been done to death, but this story has refreshingly original twists.
I love your take on Severus and Hermione, and their interactions are a delight to behold.

For me, the MLC is new since I'm new to the genre, but I can see how after this many years it would get old hat to people who have been around for awhile. I almost didn't start this one for fear they've all been done to death and nobody would want to read it. But it just begged to be written and so here I am! Thank you again!
Poor Hermione. She is so emotional you would think she was pregnant. I can't wait to see what the extent of her magic is. Because thats one powerful witch. I think Severus should just leave Hermione and Voldie-Butt in a room for a little while. I think she can take him. LOL

Really enjoyed this chpater - first Hermione's reaction to the "tawdy little episode" which seems to show that she cares about Sev more than just to make his life easier, and of course secondly to Sev. who went to her first :) awww
