Great chapter, cute ending.  Did Hermione invoke a wizzard's oath?

Truly a triumph, my dear. What more could one want than exquisite sex with Severus?   And that particular vow is in most of the Protestant ceremonies and quite a few of the older religion ceremonies. It actually is loosely taken from the Song of Solomon, if I remember correctly.  Very good chapter. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Too bad they don't give  a higher rating than 5 stars.

You leave me hanging on a precipice! Now I have to go watch Truly, Madly, Deeply again!  And listen to The Music of the Night for the thousandth time. Please, please send me over the edge!

Fabby chapter.  The way the emotional and the physical are interwoven makes the whole chapter sexy but still moving.

I like as well that Snape realises that Legilimens might be an expression of trust, but it's not always the most effective way to understand what Hermione is actually feeling. 

Also happy that the wedding night scene has been resolved, and that she understands what his look of dismay meant.  

Also liked that Hermione now knows that the only lingering feelings he has for Bella are dislike and disgust - at least any jealousy and curiosity about the relationship won't poison her growing feelings for Snape.  

I liked at the end how you suddenly switch from Hermione's issues to Snape's issues:

"Destroy what?" She glared up at him like the warrior she was. And he felt immensely weary. If not Bella's name or Bella's memory, what about all the other memories of his past? How many other things must remain unspoken and unremembered and denied for him to pretend to be something different from what he was?

In short, squeeeeeee! 

Very intense. Severus's fight with himself is fascinating to read.

I loved their conversation. So was she Obliviated? One of the things I enjoy about this story are the pov choices you make. Here, we know that Hermione believes she was not abused, but I like that we don't have to believe it yet. Had we seen this conversation from Snape's pov we might have thought she was lying, but I like the tension you've actually built, and I look forward to finding out what's going on. And what Snape thinks about all this, of course!

That's what I'm talkin' about. Go Severus! Wow, Hermione has got some issues, I do wonder if she was abused in her past at one point. She seemed so adamant about it. Strange. Now that he's got her attention, let's hope he doesn't screw the pooch again :)

Great chapter! Now how long before the next one dammit? LOL. I got to give you a 100/100 this time around just for finally getting Severus' ass in gear!

Lovely!!  I like how Severus is struggling to make things better in their relationship. They've had a rocky start but both seem willing to try. I'm really enjoying this story!

I don't think there were any lemons in that. I mean, they were toned down. If I were Hermione, that would be enough for me: the fervent cursing of Bella's name (which I totally agree with) and the washing. It seems like it's fine, but I'm not Hermione. I think there may be more not-so-nice things ahead. But I'll just have to wait and see. *sigh*

Anyway, another wonderful chapter to be thankful for.

that was....interesting. in a good way though! im intruiged.this is my favourite fic. so seriously well done. its believable and you pace it so well. it just always leaves us wanting more!which can be infuriating when left with a cliff hanger like this!
