Jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon in 2000 (when Goblet of Fire was out in hardback). Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite in the series, followed by Order of the Phoenix. I read and write in the SS/HG corner of the Potterverse.

Gah! The suspense! I can't wait to find out who it is! My first guess was Ron, but I'm thinking that you're going to throw a whopper of a curve ball at us. hee!
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Me? Nah. How much sense would it make for it to be anyone else? Unless it's Severus disguising himself as Ron as Severus... That made no sense. The question to ask (and one I don't think I answer because it's kinda immaterial) is how the impostor got one of his hairs to begin with. Snape ought to know better than to shed in public, you never know who might steal some.
I have a hard time believing Ron made Polyjuice Potion by himself, but who else could it be?
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
He didn't. This is based in HBP, Slughorn had an entire cauldron. If Malfoy can steal some, so could the hypothetical Ron as Severus.
Response from Shishkeberry (Reviewer)
Ah! I remembered the cauldron that Slughorn had, but the Moaning Myrtle comment was what confused me. I assumed that he brewed some in the bathroom.
Hex him, hex him six ways to sunday, Hermione!!! Thank you for the quick update. Can't wait for more.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
I dunno about six ways to sunday, but into next week, definitely. After all, it was a thursday! Into next week is worse! With all those reviewers who can't wait for more, chapter 17 better not need too many corrections, or it'll be delayed a week until I can correct it. I won't be near a computer for the last week of August!
Great chapter! I'm guessing it's Ron who took the polyjuice potion. Oh Hermione is going to kill him! I can't wait to see how Severus reacts if he finds out. Can't wait for the next chapter.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
You guess right. Let alone Hermione, think of what'll happen when Molly Weasley finds out! (And McGonagall... detention until he graduates, perhaps?)As for Severus, after Hermione and Molly have let Ron have it, he'll be more concerned with Hermione herself.I hope you can wait a week or so, cos if chapter 17 needs correcting, it will be that long.
lovin HErmione's remark about chaining Severus to HER bed. . . <<Bring on the lemons>> oooh, KINKY!!! Severus, Harry and everyone else who's on her side need to realize that she's still, intrinsically, Hermione even though her powers are super-sized now. She is NOT Voldy in Drag!!
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Not many lemons in this story, but you'll reach the first of em in a chapter or so.I think Severus knows she's not 'Voldy in drag'. At the very least, his body does... unless he has some serious issues. (Shudders at the thought of Voldemort dressed as a woman)The possession trick is a last case scenario protection, not something that Hermione'll use if she has any other way.
Awe...... Great chapter. Looking for more!!!!
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Chapter 16 in queue. Glad you enjoyed this one! After 16 is posted, there will be a delay before 17 is uploaded, as I'm on holiday, far from my computer in the last week of August.
So sweet, well the end of the chapter is sweet because in the middle, Scrimgeour made an interesting impersonation of Snow-White's stepmother.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
No poisoned apple though! Sweet was not a word that I thought could be associated with this story. Ah well, you proved me wrong. Hope you enjoy the rest of the story.
Wow! That was really brilliant! (Did that make sense?)
This fic is coming along quite nicely and I'm loving it!! Bloody fantastic, ayerf, bloody fantastic! I am really looking forward to the next chapter. It's going to be wonderful, I know it.
I really liked Severus in this chapter. Well done, well done! Update soon!!
Cheers,

Yup, it made sense!I'm glad you like this so much. Perhaps I oughta put 'bloody fantastic' on the synopsis, as quoted from you!I just hope you still like it by the end... which is done. The story is complete, the only delays now being when I can update. For instance, Chapter 17 will be delayed by a week 'cos I'm going on holiday, away from my computer. So you have been warned!Chapter 16 is in the queue, probably to be uploaded around Wednesday.
Wow! That was kind of creepy. I can see the others being wary of her being able to possess people. If word of that gets out, and I'm sure it will through Robards, it's not going to bode well for her.
Poor Severus having that nightmare, though I can understand where he's coming form. I've been woken up in the middle of the night for stuff like that. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
On one hand, the possession thing might cause trouble for Hermione, on the other, it might make those Ministry idiots think twice. Of course, that's presuming Voldemort doesn't replace the Ministry with his own regime...Severus might not have any more nightmares, but I'm afraid the rest of the story is not all sweetness and light for him.I've just put the next chapter in queue, but you'll probably know more than me as to when it'll be up!
Well done. Though, I was hoping Hermione would write off Potter completely. Bastard, he is. Will there be more Severus in the next chapter? I hope so. This was a fab chapter! Hermione reducing Dumbledore's door to ash? Ha ha! Wonderful! Update soon!
Cheers,

As far as they know. Potter the rotter is needed to kill off a certain dark lord. Plus I don't hate him, so wasn't about to kill him just for the sake of it. Sorry.More coming soon, but not before Saturday. 3 day waiting period and all with two chapters of one story in the queue.
woo hoo an update. wonderful. love the disappearing door. are they not able to replace it or choose not to do so. waiting for more. p
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
That is one of the questions I don't answer in the story, but I think it's the former. Hermione would be able to replace it, but she's a little ticked off.
I get the feeling that the ONLY thing keeping Hermione from World Domination is her youth and emotional inexperience (and her burgeoning feelings for Severus). I got a guilty pleasure from seeing her chew out the scar-headed git, alone and in Dumbledore's office. I love to see her verbally channel Snape! *Voldy should run and piss on himself when she gets a hold of him!* The charm bracelet that Severus gifted her with is lovely.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
The story would be a whole lot shorter if Hermione was: single, older, had no conscience and was more powerful than Dumbledore and Voldemort. As it is, ol' Voldy won't be petrified of her, as he is one of two who can kill her. Although it's possible that she'd manage to take him out even as she died.I thought about having Severus give Hermione a necklace, but a charm bracelet seemed so much more interesting as visible with a school uniform.
Whew. A torrid snog before class betw. SN/Gr and the argument that Harry should NEVER have brought up with Hermione!! *whew* you are dizzying this reader w/the spins and twists!
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
I blame the prolific family of plot bunnies responsible for this. I hope I (or said rabid plot bunnies) don't cause your head to roll off! I'd never forgive myself or them...
No, don't let Minerva turn him into a kitten... I'm allergic to cats Looks like people are begining to realise a few things about Hermione.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
As long as Severus treats Hermione right, he'll remain human. Plus, if he did cross her, there wouldn't be much left to turn into a kitten or a ball of wool. If. He's not going to; he's not stupid.
Oooh I loved the ball of wool line. Keep up the good work.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
It was either a ball of wool or a mouse... The ball of wool was far more reversible, if Severus was to be alive at the end of it.I'm nearing the end of chapter 24, which may well be the last chapter. 'Tis proving a little difficult, as I've gone and traumatised myself by killing someone in it. It was a planned death, too, so it's hardly as if it caught me by surprise.I hope chapter 15 will be up by the weekend, but don't hold your breath.
Very interesting. This story has so many wonderful twists and turns, so many that I dont' see coming until they do. I can definitely see Ron and Harry acting unreasonable given Hermione's actions. I think you have their behavior spot on.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thanks! As a matter of fact, I didn't see a few of those twists and turns coming. They sort of just happened as I wrote. Either my hands have a mind of their own, or inspiration really does come down like dust. The boys are hardly the most reasonable people around... they better hope that Hermione doesn't hold grudges!
How could you leave it here? Harry has a lot to learn. How will Hermione and Snape handle the publicity. I feel bad for them. More please!!!!
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Ah. Cliffhangers. That's not the last of them, I'm afraid. I think, anyway; I tend to forget that they're there.Yes, Harry really does need to learn to think before opening his mouth. As for the publicity... the aim of that display was to get word to Voldemort. I think, in times like they are, the Daily Prophet and other rags won't think much of a teacher/of-age-student affair when You-Know-Who is striking here and there.More coming soon, hopefully by wednesday, but I can make no promises!
I'm sorry, I had to laugh. Harry gets the 'Oppugno!' in this AU! *lmao*
Loved the kiss, as well. But I think I loved the 20 points from Slytherin more.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
What can I say? Harry deserved it far more than Ron in this! You hardly need to apologise for laughing, unless you're apologising to Harry, who has a lot of apologising of his own to do.I think Hermione also loved her 'birthday presents' too!
Response from Shishkeberry (Reviewer)
I was apologizing mainly to Hermione. It really wasn't very polite of me to laugh when she's so upset. *snork*
Wonderful!! I can't wait to see what happens next!
Keep Writing,

Thank you! I hope the next chapter'll be up by the end of the day.As for keeping writing, I am. Part way through chapter 18 at the moment...
DAMN, DAMN, DAMN, DAMN!!!!!!! That is one nasty cliffhanger!!!! But a very wonderful chapter!! I absolutely loved it! I look forward to the next chapter with great anticipation!! Update very soon!Cheers,

Chapter 10 is currently at 10th place in the queue. Give it a couple of days and the poor admins should have time to take a look at it.That cliffie is a little... well, you'll see what I mean in the next chapter, I hope. But as Hermione is definitely very much alive in chapter 17 (which I've recently finished), I can say that she survives reading the book.
excellent chapter.
will snape blast her for not coming to him for help?
waiting for more.
p
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Nah. Ol Snapey won't. What would he really be able to do? While he does know Dark Arts, Necromancy is something else altogether.Of course, she should've brought someone along, if only to run for help if required. But Hermione has a one track mind when books are involved. You shouldn't have to wait too long for updates, as so far I am sufficiently far ahead for fairly rehular ones.
I just love the RoR!! it's a lot like the Holodeck on the newer ST series. Of course Severus would be the only one to NOT pity the 'new' Hermione. Please update soon(est).
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Ahh, what wouldn't I do for the Room of Requirement? I'm not sure if Severus even knows what pity is. He's a scary wizard, I don't think anyone would pity him. He's also hardly a very nice one either, so he wouldn't pity anyone else.As for the update, it's the admins you need to plead with.
To quote Lewis Carroll "Curiouser and curiouser" Yep this fic has definately grabbed my inquisitive nature by the nose and in dragging it further and further in. More please? Oh and A big box of Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans *minus the bogey flavoured ones* as incentive to your muse!!!! Blessings XX
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Would I succeed in dragging you in without the cliffies? Perhaps I raise sufficient questions in the chapters without em.Hmm, lemmesee, carrot, lime, spinach (not so nice), mushroom (yuck!) and... oh my. (rush for the porcelain god) vomit flavour.Thankfully I've already written what was possibly the most tricky scene in the story in chapter 17. (Severus + Hermione + his quarters (his bedroom in particular)= eating chocolate ice cream (well, the sound effects are kind of the same).
Awful cliffhanger. I want to know what is in the book. Please update soon.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Hmm, I just hope you don't have my head... I don't really include much detail on the mysterious book. But rest assured that the next chapter is in the queue.
