Jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon in 2000 (when Goblet of Fire was out in hardback). Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite in the series, followed by Order of the Phoenix. I read and write in the SS/HG corner of the Potterverse.

Oh, dear, I am very disappointed with Harry and Ron. They're acting slightly, well a little more than slightly, OOC. But I'm still enjoying the story very much. You're a good writer! :)

Well, with OOC!Harry, you'll have to thank my beta for stopping him from wreaking havoc in some of the later chapters (still to come up).Glad that you're enjoying the story anyway... I'll just have to make a mental note never to write a story with Harry or Ron as the main character. But I thought they'd have to be (especially in Ron's case) completely mental to have no misgivings about having a Necromancer for a friend. Thanks for reviewing. You had this author gibbering in shock as her reviews increased past 80.
Wow. Hermione is just like Phoenix from the Marvel Comics. Poor thing...made me very sad, :(
Great story!

I can see the likeness, but she won't be:destroying stars, bursting into flames, coming back from the dead... oh wait, that last one has already happened.Hmm, good thing Hermione ain't a redhead!
Hmm...Hermione is a brazen, little thing, isn't she? Still, I liked it. This story is very interesting! :)

Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
She's never given me the impression of being shy, that's for sure. Insecure, yes; shy, no.I'm glad you like it.
Oh, my. Wow, poor Hermione. And, call me crazy, but I actually felt sorry for poor Bellatrix, :(
She is very dumb to stay with such a cruel master...but I still felt sorry for her. Good job on bringing the characters out!

You'll be feeling even sorrier for poor Bella when Hermione meets Voldy... although, if you are primarily a Snape fan, you might cheer Hermione on.The problem with focussing on particular characters is that it can be a struggle to hide the fact that the extras were sometimes an afterthought... Bella wasn't.
Whoa. Hermione isn't in shock because of her parents? Hmm...well, other than that, I love the idea of her being a Necromancer! :) Have you ever read The Abhorsen Trilogy by Garth Nix? If you haven't...I'm sure you would enjoy it! :)
Well done!

There are many different ways of experiencing grief... and I imagine being a Necromancer rather changes how she feels too.I have read those books, and I'm doing my best not to copy Nix's ideas about the powers of a Necromancer... although some similarities are inevitable.
Oh, my! So it was Severus that was writing those letters! Ok...now it makes sense. Lovely! Reading on...

JKR left me an opening... we never see Hermione read any letters from Krum, so how do we know that they're really from him?
Oh, how exciting. I'm too anxious and excited to read the next chapter, I can't leave a long review. Well done! :)

Fortunate for you that you seem to have discovered this when it's got half of the chapters up! Thanks.
Oh, that was a NICE chapter. I can't wait to read more. Fantastic job of keeping the reader...or, rather, ME, on the edge of my seat, hehe. Well done!

Be careful what you wish for: there are 12 chapters up... and at least 12 more to come.
I'm a llittle sick of Quidditch myself, but not this story. Keep it up.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
I'm glad to hear it. Chapter 13 coming soon: hopefully by Saturday, while I'm in progress of writing 22 of 25ish chapters.
Well, this is an interesting development. Literally allergic to anything Quidditch...that's very interesting and creative. Though I don't exactly approve of how Dumbledore cast the curse at Hermione. The Room of Requirement scene...that was rather funny. Poor Severus, ouch. Once again, you've written a brilliant chapter and I, as always, await the next chapter with great anticipation! Update again soon!
Cheers,

The allergy curse also gave me an excuse not to write Quidditch games. Not that a story focussing on Hermione and Snape needs broomsticks and enchanted balls. As for Dumbledore, he can be both manipulative and underhanded... and I don't think Hermione would stand still with a wand pointed at her.It might be interesting to write a story about Severus's nose, with details of every time it'd been broken.Next chapter won't be up before another three days because I had two up in the queue at once... a rule I only noticed afterwards.
The plot thickens......Mmmmmm.......I am gagging for the next bit and can't wait for Hermione to meet Ole' Mouldy Wart! This is going to be a fantastically explosive scrap! *Brit slang for a fight*More soon PLEASE?Blessings x
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Hermione gets the pleasure of meeting Tommy in chapter 20 (has been written and betaed, but will take a while yet to be posted).TWO chapters are in the validation queue now that I'm getting ever closer to writing the end, so more is coming soon.Explosive is a very fitting term, considering my plans for the end of the story. I'm well aware of brit slang, being a brit meself. It's slang of other nations that I don't have a clue of...
Brilliant!! A lot more of Snape in this chapter! I'm very pleased! This fic is coming along quite nicely! Again, I cannot wait for the next chapter. Also, thanks for the mention in the AN in this chapter. I'm quite honoured! Until the next chapter!
Cheers,

I'm glad you like it. There are at least ten more chapters to come (I'm coming ever closer to writing the end). The next two are in the queue.I'm honoured meself to have loyal reviewers like you! IT's encouraging to know that I'm doing something right.
One word, three letters... WOW! That was awesome! I'm a sucker for noble self sacrifice and suffering and all that jazz. I thotoughly enjoyed this whole story, sorry I didn't review earlier chapters, I just have a habit of reading to the end before I review. Right, I'm off to read the sequels now. Keep up the good work! ;)

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for reviewing.

Thanks, I just hope I can keep it interesting. Of course, different people might find it interesting if I killed everyone off in the last chapter... just kidding!Chapter 11 is in the depths of the queue, and will hopefully be up soon enough to put you out of your misery.
excellent chapter. thank you. waiting for more.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thanks. I hope you won't have to wait too long. It'll possibly be up by the end of the week.
whoa. Hermione is saving lives as a result of her newfound power, but she's still Hermione enough to snap at Harry for hanging onto the HBP book. . . . Go Herm!!
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Well, if she didn't hate the concept of cheating, she wouldn't be Hermione anymore. If that happened I'd have to call her 'Necromancer' or come up with a title to use ('Lady Nocturne'?) all the time, and that would be both wearing and stupid.
This is great!!!! Really well written and unique. I can't wait for more. Thanks!
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thank you, glad you like it. More coming as soon as the admins validate it. Hopefully I can finish (and post) this before vanishing into the black hole that is University.
I like that Mr. Granger has all his terminology wrong :D
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thank you! I hoped it would be funny that he gets the wizarding terminology as wrong as Arthur Weasley gets the Muggle terminology!
Very nice :)

Very sweet :) Poor Severus, though, having to be pulled away from his Hermione after that mindblowing experience.

Thank you! What can I say? Dark Lords have a rather strange idea of good timing.

Oooh, that had better not be Ron parading as Severus, he's going to be in so much trouble!
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Big trouble...

Scrimgeour is just plain mad! It's surprising he's not on Voldemort's side. Lovely chapter, especially at the end, very sweet.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
He quite possibly is mad, and frightened to boot. Thank you!

Harry is such a dolt. Part of me almost hopes that Hermione won't befriend him again, but I suppose she must. Wonderful chapter :)
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Definitely a dolt. He still has a lot to learn. Unfortunately, Hermione needs all the friends she can get.

Oh my! He kissed her in the classroom in front of everyone? Even after the rest of the chapter I'm still getting over that - it was brilliant :D
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thank you! I seem to remember that aspect of the plot sneaked up on me, too.
