Jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon in 2000 (when Goblet of Fire was out in hardback). Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite in the series, followed by Order of the Phoenix. I read and write in the SS/HG corner of the Potterverse.

Love how you didn't give in for a typical 'happy ending', but instead are making us readers work for it. ;)
Ack! Gasp! You killed her off! Well, due to the author's notes, I gather that she'll be back, but still. *grumble, gripe, growl* Poor Severus. Didn't even get the opportunity to wed before she was gone. :(Very nice story that draws the reader in.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
I did! If temporarily, as you have gathered.Thank you! I hope you enjoy the sequels too if you read them!
Posting this after having read the whole thing: You never resolved who attempted to kill Millicent Bullstrode. *pout* I really was curious as to the motivation, if it had anything to do with testing HG's mecromantic power development.Nice twist to the tale.

D'oh! I dropped the ball there. It's quite a long time since I wrote it, but I think I intended it to be Draco's handiwork. Scary thought if it was anything else, as that would mean there was more than one murderous person in the castle!Thank you!
Interesting tactic you included having a duplicate medical registry in Moldy Butt's possession. That would definitely give him the inside scoop on the effects of his DE's raids. Nice touch.

Thanks! I do get the impression that Voldy has eyes and ears everywhere.
Should have posted this on the prologue. You had me gasping when the car flipped. I had a sinking suspicion, since you took so much time in the car, that there would be something bad happen. That definitely qualifies as something bad.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thanks, that sort of reaction was what I was hoping for!
The boys both need their butts kicked, and I love the way Snape made them feel an inch high. :)
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Glad you thought the boys got at least part of what they deserved!
Scrimgeor(sp) should be run through. Someone get me a sword. Another nice chapter.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Heh! Poor Scrimgeour!Thank you!
Love that declaration! “It’s just an acceleration of my original personal plans for after Hogwarts.” Nothing like throwing the man a curve ball.

Thank you! Stumping Severus was fun.
So she's only mostly dead? This was a great fic.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
That's certainly the implication! There's a couple of sequels, Tabula Rasa and Resurgam, which detail the answer to that question.Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for reviewing.
The boy-who-lived-to-be-bait. AHAHA! Love it!
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thank you! Delighted to hear it.
Tht was what Sandra Bullock did in "Miss Congeniality" for her talent act. S.I.N.G: Solar plexus Instep Nose Groin. Very effective and totally funny in this scene!
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thank you! It struck me as what Scrimgeour deserved.

That is interesting that the boggart could hurt Hermione - and quite scary.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thanks! Glad you found it interesting. Definitely scary, possibly most of all for Severus.

Poor Ron, just as well Hermione Oblivated him at the end there - I think the poor boy would have had nightmares for weeks (I'd say years, but does Ron's memory work that well? LOL)
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Those were certainly memories he could do without. As to how good his memory is, it probably depends on what that memory is...

Good on Hermione for killing Bella, pity she couldn't leave her that way. Ooh, Severus has asked Hermione to marry him...say yes, Hermione!
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Bella certainly deserved it! Yes, too bad she couldn't leave her dead.

What a powerful chapter. Amazing. And the perfect last line.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thank you! I hoped it would be.
why do these young fools view love, our greatest strength, as a weakness?Brilliantly put.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thanks! I think this Dumbledore almost said it all by himself, with no conscious input from me.
Not clumsy at all. (ahem)Very nice. And thank you for the link!

Thanks! I really do have no confidence with writing sex scenes. Which does beg the question of why I'm writing a threesome fic...No problem, glad to help!
Oh my. I'm breathless and aching.
Well done.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thank you! That's the sort of reaction I hoped this would garner. If you read the sequels, I hope you enjoy them!
ok,ok, I will care ... and leave a review.
This is a great study of these four characters and their interaction. This necromancy is .. brrrr.
A great scene there when A.D. uses sectumsempra, but ... wasn't he described as whiter than white?? Would he be able to cast the curse? I think he might have studied it for such a purpose with Hermione, so that is OK -- Is his soul now at least a little off-white?
We missed the Christmas-slug-party, didn't we? I understand that you must alter the story, but I'd have liked to see how this point came out.
Good stuff anyway, and I need to read on.
Merry Christmas,

Thanks for reviewing!
Necromancy is a little dark, I suppose.
I suspect Dumbledore would know how to cast Dark Magic even if he didn't intend to practise it. Also, just because Severus perceives him as whiter than white does not mean that he really is...
The Christmas Slugclub party might have been interesting, but by this point in the tale, I'd moved too far from the plot of HBP to consider including it. Sorry!
Hope you enjoy the rest of it, and Happy Christmas.
OH MY GOODNESS! BLOODY BRILLIANT!
I started your story yesterday afternoon and had to keep reading until I had finished, so sorry for not reviewing each chapter. By the time I had finished reading it was quite late and I was very distraught! I had to go to bed to recover.
Very emotive story, especially the last chapter. I Loved it and am now off to find the sequel.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thank you! That means a lot to me, particularly that you came back to leave a review.
Hope you enjoy the sequels just as much!
Bah. They're so cowardly! I'm seething at thier fickleness. A pox on you both you imbeciles!
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
True. But they just needed a little gentle manipulation encouragement...
Kicking butt and taking names ftw!
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
That's our Hermione!
Funny to hear Hermione echo my thoughts from a pervious chapter. What an incredibally. dull muggle way to die. >.<
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Great minds think alike? That's the phrase that springs to mind.
