Jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon in 2000 (when Goblet of Fire was out in hardback). Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite in the series, followed by Order of the Phoenix. I read and write in the SS/HG corner of the Potterverse.

Nice. Very nice. It's true that Dumbledore always did favor Harry even though he never would've gotten anywhere without Hermione...or Snape.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thanks! It sometimes seems to me that Dumbledore needs a prophecy to be sure of someone's importance. He must be a believer in fate...
Whoa. Where' s the next chapter? Cheers,

Out of my hands, in the midst of the validation queue; so coming soon.
Yay I love it so far. Hope you continue soon.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thank you. Next chapter is in the validation queue.
Wow. That's harsh. Very good start. Add more soon please.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thank you! I'm afraid things will get worse before they get better for Hermione.I hope the next chapter will be validated soon.
Thrilling start! I am defenitely following this.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Glad you thought so. I fully intend to complete this too!
Oh wow...... Wholly engrossing first chapter. Talk about grabbing the reader's attention....
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thank you very much! I've never been in a car crash, so that lack of knowledge obviously didn't detract from it. More coming soon.
Ahhhhhh! More, please, please pleasepleaseplease! ;) Evil little cliffie there.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Muwhahahahahaha. I know, especially as there are warnings for character death and all. Chapter 1 should be up within the next few days, just bear with the admins in validation.
Ooh I like the begining.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
I hope you like the rest of it too. Chapter 1 is out of my hands, to be validated.
Brilliant start! Hope we see an update soon.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thank you. As for soon, it should be, as Chapter 1 is currently waiting to be validated.
Awesome start, can't wait for the next chapter...
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Glad you thought so. I hope the next chapter will be up during the weekend, but that depends on the admins.
oh my what next??
waiting for more. p
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
My first reviewer! More up soon. The next chapter is waiting to be validated.
Not my favorite chapter so far, but I guess this part would have to be told.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Sorry, every story has its rougher parts. I hope you like the future chapters better.
Very interesting start...I'm looking forward to the following chapters.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Glad you like it! More coming soon.
Horrendous?? it isn't, it is ruddy brilliant. Sorry that I use Ron's terms.
Well, you did avoid telling us just how the letter-exchange started but really, this is great.
You caught the characters really well. Many small things that add favour to this story.
no time for a long review ... need to read on :-)
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thanks, I'm glad to hear it.
Not so much avoided telling more about the letter-exchange: it's another story. More is revealed about it in the sequel to this.
I hoped I had done a good job with the characters. I'm pleased to hear that is the case!
Hope you enjoy the rest of it!
Excellent story very well written. Looking forward to the sequel... and prequel??
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Both sequel and prequel are being planned, although the prequel is likely to be a one shot and out far sooner than the sequel.Thank you for the compliment! I only hope the other parts of the story will be up to the same standard.
Okay, you've got my attention. Now what?
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Glad to hear it! Read on, and I hope the rest of the story keeps your attention.
i like the story but i wish not to have to wait a year to see what happens next
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
It would be lovely to have the time and inspiration to do it now... Hopefully I've overestimated the time it'll take, but I can make no promises except that it will be up eventually.
Wow. Awesome story there – you had me sitting on the edge of my chair every time I read your marvellous work. So much unusual ideas, so much unexpected turnings. It was highly gripping. Thanks so much for writing and sharing this with us.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thanks! It was fun to write too. As for those unusual ideas and unexpected turnings, at times it seemed like 'attack of the killer plot bunnies'... parts of it almost wrote themselves, for instance sometimes even I didn't see some of those twists comings.Fingers crossed that I get the same luck in inspiration for the sequel and other fics I'll be writing in the interval!
You are, indeed, evil, but I anxiously await the sequel. You did an excellent job with the premise you devised, here. You might want to go back and edit your author's notes in the Prologue, though, since you seem to have abandoned the Horcruxes entirely rather than going with your original idea.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
That's me, evil. As for the sequel, I'm gradually planning and plotting. As for the AN in the Prologue, the Horcruxes were never intended for more than a mention, and I forgot to do that. Well, and when I thought of it, it didn't quite fit in with the tone of the story. Perhaps I'll include the Horcrux cocktails in the spoof...Thanks for reviewing!
Nope, not clumsy at all. Very nicely done.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
That does seem to be the consensus, thanks!
It only makes sense to leave us on a cliffy. Isn't that what JKR has been doing for six books now? Thaks for the story...
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thanks, you're welcome.JKR certainly left us in a similar position at the end of book 6, that's for sure.
Ok so yesterday I didnt pay attention to that there was another final chapter! Even with the sad ending I loved it. I wish I had a time turner to give you! But i will wait ever so patiently for the sequal!!!
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
I'm glad you that despite the sad ending this met your approval. Doesn't everyone wish for a Time Turner at some point? Thank you for reviewing! I'll probably post a sneak peek of the sequel as an epilogue to this, but don't expect it too soon, as to post it too long before the sequel is ready would be soooo cruel.
I'm sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next!! Update soon!!
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
You may be waiting a long time- oh, wait. You're reviewing the penultimate chapter here. The last chapter (24) was posted on September 21st, so read on....And if at the end of the last chapter it's still the same response, my free time is pretty limited at the moment, so the sequel won't be up before 2007 at the earliest. I make no promises as to when I'll post it, as I haven't written it yet. Am still on the planning stage!Expect to see other unconnected stories up here in the mean time, because unless you have a Time Turner you could give me, the sequel won't be up anytime soon. Sorry!
yep. you're evil.
the masses demand a happy ending to that sequel. now. TWO YEARS?? how sad, how sad. you have to make a big announcement and let us all know what it's titled.
I loved this story so much, even without a happy ending. Thank you for writing it.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Muwhahaha-cough! cough! Ugh! I don't recommend evil laughter when you've got a cold.A happy ending to the sequel NOW? Ok, I could do the sequel now but it would be a whole lot shorter than if I did it when I have more time and inspiration on my hands. I'm fairly sure that you'd prefer a longer, better quality story... so please be patient. My muse won't let me forget about the sequel, so no worries there! As for the title, I don't actually have one yet. No, I lie, there is one idea so far: Double Trouble. That does hint as to what the story will be about, but I don't think it's a spoiler. Maybe I'll translate it into Latin to fit in better with Redivivus...I'm glad you did love my ickle story! It was a pleasure to write. Thank you for reviewing!
Response from togspled (Reviewer)
Gemino Perturbo--double trouble. just fyi.
Nope, it's not a spoiler at all. Or if it is, I'm just stupid and don't get it.
Sorry to hear you have a cold. I have the flu. lol. Get better so you can write more! I don't wanna hafta call Madam Pomfrey on you. lol.
I'm squealing each time a see an update. This is such an intriguing story. It is unlike anything I've read before and I've read a lot of stories. I hope you will go on writing stories, I would be glad to read them.
Response from ayerf (Author of Redivivus)
Thank you. I'll try to continue writing, but real life will cut down on how often I can. Plus inspiration for a story like this one rarely comes along... just be patient. I daresay something else will crop up, completely unrelated to this.
