Thanks for stopping by. I'm off to stir my cauldron.

Very interesting beginning. Oh, if you didn’t just capture the inexperienced groping of teenage boys in heat perfectly – no one could!

Bwahahaha! :) Glad to see you reading. Hope you like it.
Another great story. I literally could not put it down. My family and I went camping and I printed and took the last 6 chapters with me. Thanks for helping me have a most relaxing weekend. 5 Stars

Yay! I'm so happy you liked it. Weehee! Next time I go on a long trip, I'll be taking some printouts, too. What a good idea.
Just finished reading your story. It took me two days and I haven't been able to put it down, well apart from sleeping.
Beautifully written, excellent storyline and I loved the happy ending.

Thank you. I was just thinking about an epilogue for this today.
ahhh perfect story...would love to see more about their evolvin relationship.

Thank you. I've been thinking about doing something more with it. :)
Darn you for enchanting me. I couldn't think of anything but this story for the past two whole days and nights while I was reading it, procrastinating my other duties, like RL. Now that I finally finished the story, I feel that I can finally move on with my life, just like Hermione and Snape can.I love your writing style, imagination and ways to make unbelievable things believable. I'm certainly going to read more of your stuff when I have time. Keep up the good works!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Luring the Enchantress)
Thanks for reading and letting me know. I appreciate that. When I was writing this story, it was always on my mind as well. I actually missed it a little when I was finished. Cheers!
that is so great that you got the tone from a NIN song! i always imagine severus as being trent reznor-esque. you are by far my favorite author, your stories are always so well thought out and interesting, i can't wait to finish this one to see what happens! great job!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Luring the Enchantress)
Hey, thanks. I appreciate that. I LOVE NIN and Trent! :) Hope you continue to like it.
This was such a great story. Took me a few days to read it and I couldn't put it down (or my laptop at least). I love reading your fanfic. Keep up the great work!!!

I appreciate your kind words, and I'm very happy that you liked the story. Thank you!
This is a fantastic story. It nearly took over as my favorite HP fanfiction! However, don't be disappointed, that goes to ladyofthemasque for "For Someone Special", and if you've read it, as talented as you are, (extremely) you will understand, I believe. I've read that one twice. and will probably read it again. I think you portrayed Hermione and Snape very well. What you spoke of, involving the age and experience difference is very true. What did she take an aging potion or something? (for the others) I mean how many 18 year olds could compete with the knowledge and ecperience of a 40 year old spy for the two greatest wizards in the history of magic? I truly enjoy all your writing you have a way with words like lotm that makes it seem as though one is simply reading another HP book. Hopefully I can find the time and courage to begin my own HP story. Good luck and Happy New Year!

I have read For Someone Special by LotM, yes. She's one of the many friends that I've made since I began writing. FSS, however, isn't one of my faves of her work. I'm more fond of much plot and less sex, as you can tell with the stuff I write (not too much shagging, but some), and I skipped a lot of stuff in the long story to find the "good" stuff (Frejne will always be a fave character of mine). Oh, and I don't like "asshole!Dumbledore" in stories either. LOL So, I guess one person's fave is not as appealing to all. I'm rambling. It's been a long time since I've read it. I think the last thing I read was most of "In Annulo," which I plan to finish when I have time, and that was--in my book--a much better story by her (lovely plot twists and characterizations!).Thank you for your kind words! I'm happy that you like my story, and you should think more about writing your own story. It's great fun and takes some work to get things the way you want it, but worth the trouble once you start. What's keeping you from starting? Nerves? No time?

<>I've written all my life. It is actually my fav pastime and gift that God gave me. I am 31 with twokids and going to college full time. I also get very nervous about people reading my stories. Plus my plot I have in mind has other characters, of my own, mixed in with the HP characters. I'm not sure people would enjoy that. Sometimes I don't enjoy that. Plus it's been a while since I've read the HP series, as I don't own them. I'm afraid I might get my facts mixed up. Don't know, maybe I'll try writing a short one and see how people respond. If they like my style of writing maybe I'll do the longer one....We'll see. Thanks for the support. I love In Annulo also. But then again lotm is one of my fav writiers. You are also one of my fav's as well. As I have been reading many of yours lately and enjoying your imagination tremendously. :) <><>

Well, if you need a sounding board or help with anything, let me know. I think starting off with a small one shot would be a nice way to get your feet wet, test the waters so to speak. I'm fond of writing as well. It seems like such a great way to get emotions out and escape for a while (for me anyway). :) Plus we get to have things the way we want. Teehee. As far as posting for the public, it's definitely easy to get a little nervous. Some people are very inconsiderate with their words or just plain picky. I've learned that it's hard to please everyone, and someone will always have something to say about something, but on the whole, the encouragement received helps to overcome that. And eventually, you get thicker skin and make a style that's all your own. Heh, I always ramble. The moral to mah post is: if you need help, let me know. :)

Thanks! I'm working on a story now, off the top of my head. May not be as good as future posts, but we'll see how it goes. I was trying to find a challenge to do, but there doesn't seem to be a current one. So I am making up my own story.
This was an awesome story :)
I read it each time I came onto the computer {Like, two chapters each}
I really hope there'd be like a somwhat sequal? when your done your novel of course :)
Best of Luck.

:) I'm thinking of adding an epilogue. I'm just scared it would mess it up more than help it. Thank you so much.
Epilogue! Epilogue! Epilogue!Loved all the Slytherin/Gryffindor pairings in this one!Loved this story but 42 chapters? It took me days to read it! Loved it though!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Luring the Enchantress)
Thanks! :) HAhahaha... Sorry about that. I'm a sucker for long stories. Snerk. :)
awesome story. Tears in my eyes. I can't wait to see what happens to them next. I hope they have babies and Snape can finally have the sense of peace that they need.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Luring the Enchantress)
Thanks so much. :) I'm glad you liked it. I need to get my ass in gear and do an epilogue.
I don't think you could have written a better ending for this one. It fits perfectly! ~

Thanks so much! :)
Brava!! *applause* ... *standing ovation!*
That was a beautiful ending. I feel all weepy now. *sniff* Congratulations on finishing, even though I know you are going through Luring Withdrawal.
What a good end to a fab story. I really hope you do write an epilogue, it'll be good to know how Severus and Hermione are getting on :P. *Hugs* I'll be sure to review another one of your stories soon :P lol. xox
excellent...I enjoyed this story from beginning to end...COngrats on a job well done...
Sigh.... not sure what to say. My first instinct is to shout "Epilogue!!" (15-20 years in future?) but then again, this really is lovely as is. Although if the potion had NOT worked, you would've heard my screaming and rants for sure! The Lucius-Hermione talk - too bad Severus didn't hear it, as I'm sure there are hidden nuances there that only Severus would've understood. I suppose the thing that strikes me most about this chapter is that I'm glad/sad it's over; your characters are so enchanting that I want to see more of them, and I want to see them happy (well, except for Lupin and Tonks). So I'm happy to see this ending, but sad that is is an ending, which explains why I'm not dancing with joy. (leaves trail of Snickers bars for SW to follow, all the way to the keyboard.... epilogue where Harry Potter grovels to Severus... Severus wins lottery... S&H lemons...)
Hey, great ending. Congrats on finishing this.
You need to write more. Now. Now. Now. Now. Now. Now. Are we there yet? Please? I'd really like to see how this ends. And I love you oodles and bunches.
Reading this from start to finish. Knackered now, but really enjoying it. Catch up with you again in a few more chapters tomorrow.
betwixt= sun's new fave word.

Wow! Great chapter! I hope that spell didn't actually kill Severus. *worries*Can't wait till the next one!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Luring the Enchantress)
Thanks! It wasn't a Killing Curse, no. Teehee
Oooh, yes, celebrate some more. *snicker*
I wanted to say that I enjoy how you never let the reader forget that Hermione is still a teenager. It is in her demeanor and her words, and it is perfect.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Luring the Enchantress)
Right on, babe. And I get so annoyed when someone says, "Oh, Hermione is so OOC and acting immature."Well, WTF? She's only 18 and never had a real relationship. LOLshrugs naughtily and haughtily (rhymer)I'm glad you like it. :)
