Oh, thank god he stayed! I was so worried that he would mess it up and leave her. He may have been the "one in need" of comfort in the act, but she is the one who needs reassurances after the act. If he left it would have really ruined the progress they have made in their relationship.

great story. i like the realistic relationship between Hermione and Severus: it seems right that she can't stop thinking about Ron immediately. the scenes where Snape acts cheerful are really fun , especially when there are frightened students around.update soon please

Of course he's a greedy bastard - it's why we love him so much!  I want her to be over Ron - REALLY over Ron - but I know the way you are writing her is so much more real-to-life. Another lovely chapter, dear Avery!

Oh gosh - the chapter ended when they were getting to the good part.  Cannot wait for the next chapter.  I hope they find a little happiness in it.  They are both deserving of it with all they have been through.

dang those porcupine quills!! grrr... Okay, the good things: he took her to FRANCE for a romantic picnic! (okay, not "romantic" in the traditional sense, but it was still a picnic in a lovely setting) they communicated. they didn't end up angry at each other. she's probably overanalyzing things a bit, but hopefully that stops soon - it's still been only three weeks in the story, right? I'm still hopeful for these two! thanks for the new chapter.

I'm not sure who I feel sorry for more him or her.   But I know I don't feel sorry for none of the others in that school.

Man, I was beginning to think there'd never be another update on this one. Thank god! And what an update! I'm glad to see Sev and Hermione are making progress, but what a place to end the chapter. I hope your next update is a bit quicker.

Oh man I'll say having a bad day.  Poppy is jealous.  And a bitch.   And is everyone out to make her life miserable.  And I just bet Severus heard everything Hermione said to Poppy and took it badly and that is why he is feeling hurt and taking it out on her.

Having just come clear of reading both your 'Marry' and 'Choice' stories, I must say your writing matures. Severus tends to be very childish in face of Hermione, often she being the grown-up in their relationship, but he is excused. The sexual tenssion she puts him through might be quite tenious as time progresses.

With their morning and evening meeting, when would they realise that life might become simpler if they lived together? Accompany each other wilst studying, marking, or whatever duties they have, although maybe not sharing a bed for the time being?

Love it and anxiously awaiting more!!!
