Thank you! I love writing Snape, he's so much fun when he's grumpy.
I am very excited to see what you might have up next. This concept is fascinating. The romance angle is lovely, but also the potentional for unique magical situations is enormous. Snape was a most lovely balance of snark and sweetness.

This was beautifully written, your story captivated me from the very beginning. You made a great plot out of Hermioned scar, and the line "you are a phoenix" totally won me over. Yup, I am very, very sure that I will have a great time following this story!!!

Very creative. I especially liked the exchanges between Snape and Hermione, very much in chracter and yet a side of Snape we only get to see in fanfic. Inventive idea - the curse's effects is different because of another spell's infuence and of course the idea of Severus Snape singing! Oh, I'd have love to hear that! I bet he did sound like a phoenix! Wonder what he really thought of that?
Are you going to have another chapter? I hope so.

Thank you very much! Of course we never see the less-than-evil side of Snape in canon -- it would never have done to resolve the tricky issue of his loyalty until he was lying on the floor and bleeding to death.The second chapter is already in the queue . . . I hope you like it.
