I like what I see so far and lookforward to the next chapter.  I like how you've portrayed Snape as being completely free of both Dumbledore and Voldemort and not having a clue as to what to do next.  I like this new Hermione with passion.  Very nice. 

I liked the dream.  Couldn't tell you what it meant, except that drowning in the past part, but I thought it sounded quite dreamlike.  Hermione is certainly keeping Severus guessing.  She realizes it, of course, and I hope she continues doing it.

The dream was well done. Hermione woke him up just at the right time, it seems.

I'm curious to see where it's going, now that he knows of her interest in Potions, and has acknowledged her as a person, not just one of the Gryffindor golden trio.

Severus' dream was a doozie.  I'm glad Hermione was there to bring him out of it.  And deep down on some level, I think he was glad of it, as well.

I enjoyed his reaction to finding out that she had attended Peniche.  And her smiles... her smiles and her songs take him back to a happier time.

Good chapter!  I like the dream.  I like her waking him up from it.  Doesn't he owe her one for that?  Of course, they all 'owe' each other for saving the Wizarding world from Voldemort. 

I like their thoughts mixed in with the dialouge, just like we all have that unspoken part of our conversations.  Nicely written!

I enjoyed that.  Snape is confused, and that makes it fun.

Very interesting.  The dream was thought provoking.  I'm looking forward to seeing how things play out.  Looks like it's going to be a very involved plot...and I love those kind!!  Patiently (as much as possible) waiting for next chapter...

Not so fast... nothing about Severus Snape is ever simple... but it is always interesting.

Your discription of Snape's mindset in the second paragraph is one of the most accurate and best I have read. A part of one line I thought was truly well written was,"He felt immediately mended of all his woes and wretchedness," what a wonderful way to express how a miniscule amout of attraction, affection or kindness can take the rough edges off someones pain and begin the healing process. You have inspired me to continue reading. I had to take a break from reading and reviewing to handle some real life issues and when I came back found it hard to do either (as much as I love ff) because of the quality and lack of updates. I see you have either written or have planned out this story so I will take a chance. Look forward to your next update.
