That was a sweet chapter. Sadly, I'll have to come back to this later this evening... but it'll be nice to settle with a cuppa; the lights down low; the CD in the background; no kids! :DOh! I have to thank you too! You inspired the ending of a chapter of mine and the sequence of events that will carry the plot. Cheers! :D

I am quite find of this chapter myself. Glad you liked it.And of course, I am very curious now about what kind of inspiring effects I had on you!Cheers. /M
Another lovely chapter. I really like the flowing style with the subtle eddies and undercurrents. And never in my life have the words 'an old lady' been so cunningly misapplied while behind them, forces are gathering.

The old lady is indeed pulling strings here and there.I am so glad you are enjoying this.Cheers. /M
'Aurё entuluva!'The Elvish got me thinking, and I had this vague recollection of reading something from 'The Silmarillion', so I went and found the bit. The above is what Hurin cried out and translates as 'day shall come again'.It just struck me that that is what Severus is about to have: day coming again. Of course, Hurin was battling huge armies and cleansing Middle Earth, not embarking upon a cup of tea with a woman :DAnother beautiful chapter.

A cup of tea with a woman might just be as scary as battling huge armies, at least for Severus Snape ;-)Cheers. /M
This is is just superb. Very masterfully written; so sensitive and perceptive. As an aside, I'm teacher training at the moment--going to be a Chemistry teacher with an additional specialism in Biology, and yes... I wonder about the dunderheads too, and my sanity.Any survival tips would be most welcome.

You're making me blush!!Becoming a teacher? Are you insane? LOL Email me, I'll tell you how to handle dunderheads. Cheers. /M
Only chapter two, and I've fallen in love with it.It flows so deceptively smoothly, and when you pause, you can suddenly see so much in each sentence. 'Severus held onto his coffee cup for dear life': Great description!
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of The Way Home)
Can't you just see him clutching that cup? ;-)So glad you like it. I'm writing a sequel as we speak. Oups, midnight, should go to bed./M
Woo Hoo! I have free time, and what a lovely way to spend it. I really liked this. The style is a little different, I think (not that I know what I'm talking about!), but it's lovely, engaging and as is typical, it is rich.

Hello sweetheart!!Glad to see you.If you are referring to Morgaine's Story when you're talking about 'style' then you are quite right. This story is somewhat lighter. To begin with, anyway.Glad you like it so far.Cheers. /M
