Hermione Granger had a job that gave her everything she wanted. However, money can't buy the one thing she desires most, the love of the reclusive Severus Snape.

I am a classically trained singer with three children. I love Star Trek and have watched probably every episode of every series. Favorite HP charaters are Snape and McGonagall. (not as a couple.)

Ah well sometimes dates go that way... its a shame. Good chappie BTW am very anxious to read more.

Yes, it takes all kinds. Unfortunately for Hermione, she gets these types all the time. But her misfortune is our good luck, as you will see.
Wonderful so far. It has really captured my attention. I like it that Hermoine has a book store. it is so fitting. Keep up the good work and will review all the chapters to come. ;)

Thank you! I'm glad you like it already.
Wooo-Hooo! That Rocked my Sox! I'm so happy with how everything is progressing! I'm also relieved to see that there's still more to come! I was afraid that them getting together would be the end of this tale. Much Love. ~ Brena

Well, it's close to the end. There are some loose ends and other things to go, but we're coming to the close. There's about three chapters left. Glad you liked Severus finally coming to his senses. Silly man.
Wow! I'm so happy that the douche bag Steve got what he deserved. Sorry it took me so long to start reading again but you know how RL can get in the way. Crazy Holidays. Anyways awesome chapter and I'll be moving right along to the latest update. Much Love ~ Brena
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Thanks Brena! It was nice to give Steve-o what-for. He deserved it, the nasty jerk.Crazy holidays is right. I find myself shopping almost every day for stuff I don't even want.
i like the fact that it took a while! but i'm worried about this residual dizziness. i hope it's nothing. i look forward (as always) to your next update. thanks so much, my delightful deb!
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
The residual dizziness is simply an after-effect of the drug. It can stay in your system for up to 24 hours. She'll be fine once it's totally erased from her body. There will be no sudden deathly illnessess here. Thanks kimjo!
Yes, FINALLY!!!!! Great story! I am so proud that Severus took this leap of faith! I'm looking forward to more.gab
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Thanks gabi! Finally, indeed. I'm glad you have enjoyed this so far. His leap of faith will make him a happy man, I figure. I'll have a new chapter up soon.
Lovely. Truly lovely. I think your pace in driving our couple together was just right. I can't wait to read more on how everyone reacts. Well done!
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Thank you so much. For me, they really needed to build up to this. There's just so much fun in the anticipation of something to come. And now, they know that their feelings are real and not something imagined.
SQUEEEEEEEEE!!!! *breathes* *calms self* They kissed! They admitted they loved each other! Oh, I am so relieved. This is what I was hoping for, but with our irascible Severus, you never quite know! Good for him, allowing himself to love. I always love reading stories about him post DH--where he has forgiven himself and can move forward with Hermione and allow himself to love again. He deserves a happy ending! Thank you for writing one! (at least for now...) Hugs, Deb.

This man sooo deserves a happy ending. After all of the years of torment he's been through, he deserves to have someone see him for what he's worth. That was quite the squeal of delight there. You should have seen my grin. Yeah, something like that. You're so right, with Severus, you never really know. Sometimes he's so down on himself he can't fathom anyone truly caring for him. Luckily, he got past that in this story. Thanks as always, kizzy.
Yahoo! They have declared their love for one another, and now we will get to see how their friends react to their news. I hope they don't catch too much static... but even if they do, I'm sure they will handle it with their usual Gryffindor strength of heart and Slytherin determination. The Gondola ride was divine! I love how Severus played with Hermione's fingers. Well done!Beth
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Thanks for the cheering section! They're very cool. Ah, that Gondola ride... someday I'll do that with my hunny. You can imagine that her friends might be a little shocked to find her head over heels for Severus Snape. It will remain to be seen if they are true friends or not.
Hmmm, I don't know much about date rape drugs but I'm concerned about her dizzy spells. Shouldn't they be over with by now?
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
I don't know that much about them either. Another reviewer had pm'd me and mentioned the lingering after effects. On further investigation, I found that it takes up to 24 hours for the drug to completely leave your system, so it's not impossible that she should have such reactions. Don't worry, she'll be okay.
Wonderful, I am so happy they finally told eachother about their feelings:-))
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Isn't it great? They finally 'fessed up. And it only took fourteen chapters.
*Sigh* FINALLY (you wanted me to write that and who am I to deny you...). I hope there will be no further after-effects of that strange drug.
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
We're done with the side effects. Luckily for her, there were no scars to recouperate from. Thanks for giving me my huge sigh and expression of thanks that they finally woke up!
You must be psychic....FINALLY, They get together...YAY!
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Yes, it's definitely about time.
That was a great way for him to tell her he loved her! I kind of wonder what he might have done to the guy aside from obliviate, that will cause him to never do it to another woman.
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
I imagine it's some sort of permanent hex that will bring pain with just the thought of copulating.
They did it. Admitted it. Yay!
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Yay! It only took 14 chapters! Whoo hoo!
Everything about this chapter was superb... the only thing that was off putting was Snape calling Hermione his princess. It made me gag, a little tiny bit. Lol. Other than that, excellent. This story is fantastic and has captured my interest from the beginning. I'm happy to see that this is not the end, as I'd feared. I'm interested to see how other people react. ~Mm
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it, except for the part where you threw up a little. There's a couple more chapters left, so there's a little more Snapey/Hermy goodness to come.
You did a nice job - and realistic - with the effects of the drug. I'm impressed, there are side effects people forget about all the time. Good thing Severus decided to clarify things. Whooot!
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Thank you so much! I had a bit of help from another reviewer who shared some information that she was aware of. It helped me to make this a bit more realistic with the dizziness after-effects. As some others have said, it's about time they got together!
Whoot! Thank gods for those little hairs! What good timing. Too bad he thinks she said/confessed to him wasn't real and he thinks it's cuz of the drug!
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Yup. the man has a real sixth sense. I'm sure it's kept him alive for this long. It would be ashame if Severus missed his opportunity here, don't you think?
*happy sigh* It was about time. I'm just worried about Hermione's dizziness. Were they to have already make love I'd say she's pregnant. So I hope it's nothing really important. That would be so hard for them to be separated whereas they find themselves.Snitchette the Happy Ending sucker
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Yes, I too am a Happy Ending sucker. There's no terminal wizard cancer in Hermione's future. She's just feeling the after effects of the drug that was in her system. Sometimes it takes a while to completely get such a thing out of one's system. She'll recover and be fine.
*doing victory dance* ...it is about time!! That was great. I like that he "beat her to the punch" so to speak. She squirmed a bit, but he came thru. =] Now it's to the others in her life to muck it up for them. LOL Excellent.
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Yes, others have a way of messing everything up. We'll see how the bestest friends take everything. It could go either way, really.
I'm happy now.
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
I'm glad you are!
I don't know with the 'princess' comment, if it's Snape or not, but it was the best way to end that....encounter. It's so sweet and feels so natural for him to say after what they've just been through. Lovely story. I can't wait to see how Snape will react, if he will start out pretending nothing happened or he will do something...else? He can't just ignore it completely - that's for sure....right? Poor Hermione though not going to remember anything the next morning...
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
I wondered if it would be a bit much, but every time I went to change it, I couldn't. Heh, heh. I guess he really wanted to say that. The next chapter is in the queue, so you will see what he decides to do soon. I can say that he won't simply ignore it.
Great the dat rape drug! Hermione fell prey to a creep. Why can't Severus at least make an attempt at a move. Surely a Slytherin can be subtle enough to ask questions in an innoucuous way to gain information. He was a spy for crying out lud.
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
You're so right! The guy's been hurt more by Lily than he realizes, I think. Her rejection of him makes him question any advances anyone else might make at him. This little incident and what follows will help Severus to realize he's been totally wrong about Hermione and how she feels about him.

Good. I can't wait. Well, I'll have to, but I'll try to be patient.

One of these day, Severus will learn to moderate his tendency to cut people off who express concern for him or interest in him. I imagine that day will arrive as soon as he realizes that Hermione, the woman of his dreams, has been drugged and kidnapped. And then "Steve" will be toast. As I read this chapter, I found myself wondering if Hermione's client, Master Nottingham, might have some kind of nefarious motives for wanting Holt's The Potions of our Time. And then "Steve" shows up, pulls his dastardly deed, and now I'm wondering who he is or who he is working for.I checked out the Hotel Danieli on the internet, and it is just as beautiful as you describe it!!! Nice touch.I was happy to see this update. Well done!!!Beth

Oh, what a diabolical mind! Sorry, they're not related in the least. Steve-o is just a tourist looking for a good time without any consequences. Isn't that hotel to die for? It's exactly what I'd picture an old European hotel to be. One of these days... As for our dear Potion's master, he needs a good bang over the head. This will definitely serve as a catalyst for that.

You are so right about the cliffie. At first I thouht Severus was going to burst in the coffee shop and demand that she explains herself. This new developpement is more exciting if not frustrating. Hope you hold your promise to not make readers wait for too long before next chapter.

I will, I promise. I sent the next chappie off to my beta and will put it in the queue as soon as she's given me the o.k.
