Hermione Granger had a job that gave her everything she wanted. However, money can't buy the one thing she desires most, the love of the reclusive Severus Snape.

I am a classically trained singer with three children. I love Star Trek and have watched probably every episode of every series. Favorite HP charaters are Snape and McGonagall. (not as a couple.)

I think you've had fun describing the opulant aspects of Hermione's lifestyle, as we've hd fun reading your imaginings. Glad to see that Severus is not immune to the charms of a female.

The man is only human. You'd have to be made of stone to ignore Hermione's womanly wiles. And, yes, I have had fun with her riches. It's a new story angle for me, and I'm really enjoying it.

I like the way he talked himself into helping, into re-entering the Wizarding world. Hermione has the right kind of bait to lure him out, an intellectual puzzle. Charming

He definitely couldn't resist her dangled carrot. Lol. Thanks so much.

A good, lucid acount of the survival of Severus Snape. *Skips happily off to next chapter*

He'll never die in a story of mine. And definitely not in such an ignominious way. The man deserves so much more!

I like your "five cauldron restaurant!" that's so cute, instead of the stars or diamonds we muggles use.Oh, gosh, don't we all know someone like Pierre? Very nice continuation. I like stories in which Ron is not an arse. Nice try, Ron!
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Thanks! Ron isn't a jerk in this one. I thought I'd give him a break. (Sometimes I'm not quite so nice to him.) Now Pierre, I think everyone does know someone like him. Maybe they aren't quite so smooth, but full of themselves? Oh yeah.

An offer he couldn't refuse? LOL, she knows him better than he thought.

That was really good. I love that she didn't push.
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Thanks. She's too smart to push him. She's actually done her homework about him from afar for quite some time. She also knows that he'll never like her if he's feeling like he's being forced into working with her.

I really like this story. Hermione luring Snape with an elusive book is very entertaining. Of course, he has to take the bait and at least give it a try. The possibility of finding that mythical book is too much to resist. Please update again soon.
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Oh, and the things that book is supposed to contain! Who could resist? Especially Snape. The book is a book on Potions, no less. Hermione had him before he even realized it. <---Hermione.

Oh this was a fun chapter. She completly had him and it took him a week to come around? Silly man.

Sweet. Knew he'd crumble like a hobnob in a hot cuppa! Now they can get on with the serious business of shagging... I mean finding the book. ;)
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
You called it all right! Yes, finding the book. That's Hermione's goal. Et cetera.

Oh yes, the temptation of the book above all books should be able to worm even Severus Snape out of hiding, I wonder if Hermione knew or even suspected that leaving him alone for a while would make him change his mind?Keep up the good work, I look forward to read more!

We'll find out what she thought about leaving her crumbs for him in the next chapter. Thank you! I'm glad you're having fun with this one.

This is a simple detail, but I really like how she addressed him as "Master Snape". Most fics, where he doesn't return to Hogwarts, seem to have Hermione continuing to call him Professor (while he is annoyed because he isn't a teacher anymore, and doesn't want to be reminded of it) because she always tried to treat him with respect ('Mister' sounding wrong, just 'Snape' sounding rude, and 'Severus' being too informal address for someone who was recently his student and not been given permission to use). Since he was a Potions Master, that would actually be his correct title; especially for one wanting to show how much she respects him, his achievements and his intelligence. This is the first time I can think of where she came up with this solution to her 'what should I call him now' dilemma.Liking the story so far, and look forward to seeing where it goes next.
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Thank you very much. It just seemed to be a natural progression to use 'Master' for him. As you said, he is a Potions master. She also addressed Cecil Nottingham as Master Nottingham, so such a deviation from Professor, or 'hey you' would be natural to her. If anything, Hermione Granger is respectful to those who deserve it.

Now that's the kind of development I like... I will be on holiday for a while, but I am already looking forward to reading more of this when I return!

I hope you have a marvelous time! I think we all like such types of development, especially when it surrounded by snark.

I love how his own mind wore him down! Now to the fun!Livvy

A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Even Severus understands that! He hates himself for it though. Imagine, having to leave the security of your mundane life to step into the world again. Shudder the thought! What on earth has Miss Granger done to him?

Exciting! I love it when little treasures like this story are found. Honestly, I'm almost having a fit waiting for the next chapter. Kudos to you and your beta. The two of you make a spledid pair.

I'm honored that you think of this story as a little treasure. Both my beta and I thank you for your enthusiasm and kind words. I will have a new chapter up soon, so don't have too big of a fit. I wouldn't want you in the hospital, missing my update!

Hermione knew she would need one. Cecil Nottingham's request has given her the perfect opportunity to make contact with Severus.

Yes! *pumps fist* Hermione IS thinking about Severus, and, not just thinking, but forming a plan to tease him away from his self-imposed seclusion. Good girl! And good luck! I hope she is successful.Great chapter!Beth

Thanks Beth! Hermione is always one to be counted on for a good plan. We can only hope that Severus goes along with it.

A smart girl, our Hermione is. She knows that good looks aren't everything, and I'll wager she is thinking about Severus and wondering what he is doing.Good chapter, now I have to go read the next one!Beth
