I am a classically trained singer with three children. I love Star Trek and have watched probably every episode of every series. Favorite HP charaters are Snape and McGonagall. (not as a couple.)

She should have been a Slytherin!

She's pretty crafty when she sets her mind to something, isn't she?
What a wonderful chapter, I loved it!!!
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Aw, gee, thanks! I just love these mushy endings, or almost endings as this happened to be.
AAAWwwwwwwwwww. That's so romantic. Despite what Severus says. As this could have been a perfect ending, I truly wonder what you saved for the last chapter. !hope to find out soon.
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Thanks! It's an epilogue showing what they're doing in a couple of years. I'll have it up soon.
It was a good bit of fluff. Reminded me of when my DH proposed to me 24 years ago. I bawled my eyes out too, lol!Thank you for such an enjoyable tale, dear author.

Thank you so much! Yes, we women do the craziest things. It's a wonder any man understands us. I guess after a few years of blisfull marriage even we can become predictable to them!
AH he tried to be the romantic. I loved his reaction to her crying - so perfect and so him. Thank you for this tale. I fully enjoyed it. *dabs tissue to own eyes*
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Thanks hon! I'm so glad you liked it. He's still a bit unsure of women's reactions, as you can see. But she makes him happy, and we all love to see Severus happy.
Just wonderful!

Awwwww this was such a great chapter. I loved how you developed Severus' relationship with Cecil. I can't believe there's only 2 chapters to go! This has been an amazing story. Much Love ~ Brena

I know! I'm kind of sad to see this one end. Oh, who am I kidding, I'm always sad to see them end. But end they must. Giving credit where credit is due... the kudos for Severus and Cecil go to my beta. She made the suggestion for a mentor for Severus and I ran with it. I think it's one of my favorite parts of this story, too. Thanks Brena. I appreciate your reviews and support. Happy New Year!
Oh dear - I truly hadn't expected that. How wonderful that Severus has some other influence outside his life than the two manipulative wizards and one odius muggle that are his cannon male influences. How delightful!
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Thank you! It is nice to think that Severus had somebody to lean on for a good part of his life. He really does deserve a good male influence!
I like this reconciliation. And it's nice to see Hermione's friends not acting like children. Thanks for the update!
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
I agree. They can definitely go that way, but I think that for this story, they're secure enough not to be blazing idiots. Their concern is only for her happiness, not because Snape is a slimy git. Well, I guess that factors in a tiny bit, but they're willing to give him a chance.
I really liked the interaction between the trio. Their bonds of friendship are very strong and were put to the test. Ron's protective comment referring to Severus not being able to sire children was amusing as well as telling.
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
They just want Hermione to be happy, really. It's hard for them to imagine Severus being the 'bringer of happiness' for her.
A girlfriend, a father figure. My how his life has changed! :)
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
That it has! And he can thank Hermione for it, and his intense curiosity about the book.
Whew! Thank Merlin! that Harry, Ron, and Ginny got over their shock that Hermione was, not only dating Severus, but that she was completely enthralled with him. Another few minutes of their diatribe and I was prepared to pop 'em up side the head. And I don't have a wand!Severus' reconciliation with his mentor was so perfect. I'm happy for both of them that they were able to talk about things that had happened in the past and come away with their "father and son" relationship restored. All told, this was an especially satisfying chapter! Thanks.BethPS- Now... what is this very important date you're hinting at? Hummmm?
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Those three can be annoying at times, but their hearts are in the right place in this instance. They just want Hermione to be happy and treated well. Sometimes you just want to kick them, though.I'm glad you liked the part with Cecil. He's really good for Severus and it's nice that Severus has someone other than Hermione to be friends with, don't you think? The man deserves a little more happiness! The important date will be revealed in the next chapter. Yes, it's probably what you're thinking.
*sniff, sniff* oh man, you made me cry! that was so touching. i'm glad you gave sev a mentor since dumbles turned into such a sh*t. great update, my deb. thanks so much
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Wow! That's cool! (Probably not for you!) Dumbly was just a jerk. It was so hard to see Severus be treated so badly by Dumbledore. He really needs someone who is a true friend, and despite their disagreement, Cecil is that.
Hah, that's the spirit! Thank you for a wonderful holiday chapter.
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Thank you so much! Happy Holidays to you!
Wondeful update. I'm glad everyone will give Severus a chance. But only two more chapters, I'll be looking forward to them. Merry Christmas!
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Thank you, and a Happy New Year to you too! Yes, only two more. I'm kind of sad to see it end because it's been such a fun ride.
That is so cool that Severus and Cecil got back their friendship! I am also happy that the boys are going to get over the past and give Severus a chance.
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Well, those boy's main concern is Hermione's happiness. When they see that Severus can treat her right, they'll loosen up a bit. And Cecil will be a good friend and father figure to Severus.
Cool, RW, HP, GW didn't react nearly as badly as I feared, and Severus and mentor made up. Whooot!
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Yes, it could have been much worse, but they just want Hermione to be happy.
awwwww. I absolutely adored this chapter. It was so unbelievably sweet. I love Snape with a father figure. Much love to you and Merry Christmas!MM
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year too! Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed this.
Your chapter makes a lovely Christmas present. Thanks for the update.

Thank you! Merry late Christmas, and a Happy New Year!
It' a very good idea to have deepend the relationship between Sev and Cecil. And this chapter is a nice christmas gift. thnak you so much and happy holyday to you.
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Thanks! It's nice to see Severus not only happy with his love life, but with this friendship too. Happy Holidays to you too!
I really like that Severus has a connection with Cecil. I think it's nice that he'd have something like family. I'm glad that her friends have decided to respect her decision, thought I'm betting it's easier said than done. Thanks for a great story! Happy Christmas.
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
I'm sure it will be quite tough for them, but as they see Severus treating Hermione well, they'll be more likely to ease up on him. It's nice to see Severus have someone else in his life too, I think.
What a wonderful update! I really loved that Severus have someone additional to Hermione, I just love that he has a friend/fatherfigure who will stand by him unconditionally like Hermione has Harry, Ron and Ginny. I really loved this!!!
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
Thank you! It seems that this little plot twist was well received. I too like Severus having someone. He's been so isolated for so long, and with the loss of Dumbly (a true friend?) it's nice to see him have a father figure.
Thanks for this update! So happy they both came clean about their feelings. very sweet! and I am glad to see discussion of such dangerous drugs, since we all need to be wary of that posibility. Well done!
Response from debjunk (Author of All She Ever Wanted: Money Can't Buy Everything)
It's really sad that our society is as it is, and this kind of thing is not the oddity, but something that could happen to anybody. It almost makes you want to go back to a time when people were much more respectful of one another. As for our couple, it's nice to see them be honest to one another. I don't think Severus will be having any more questions about her feelings from now on.
I love Hermione's teasing him about only buying her clothes in London! so cute. This is a charming tale.

I loved how she said "foolish wand waving" with him. That made my morning.

It certainly didn't make Severus'! Lol. He's not one for being predictable.
