Care of Magical Creatures recently received two awards on "Secrets of the Dark Vaults," a Russian fanfic site. Best NC-17 and Best Maxi Translation. The Nine-Year Plan was awarded Best Mini-Fic! I'm delighted to be in translation and to please the readers in Russia!

About Mia
I came to the world of Harry Potter relatively early, after first resisting it because it just seemed too trendy. But when the first book came out in paperback in the US I picked it up at the airport when I was about to catch a flight, and two chapters in knew I would be ordering the original from amazon.co.uk in hardcover as soon as I landed.
I came to fanfic late, waiting until after I'd read DH. That means I've been totally obsessed with the fanfic world of Harry Potter, and most specifically the SS/HG ship, since August of '07.
I'm helplessly and hopelessly hooked.

Another very good chapter! Loved "Ah, there's my girl." He said MY...I love it! The progression of their relationship is just wonderful and I'm loving it...looking forward to when they finally make love!

Hermione seems to have an amazing grasp of what Snape needs from her -very mature in that regard. Woefully naive in others - which is part of why we like her so much.

Have I mentioned how much I detest Voldemort? This was such a poignant chapter! I loved it, you know! Beautiful, romantic, and very Snape-ish! LOVE seeing this side of him.

"You tasted unlabeled potions? You, Miss Granger," he hissed softly, "are an idiot." "And just think, you left your life and welfare in my hands." She popped a bite of baked apple into her mouth and smirked. "What does that make you?"ROFL!!! So funny!!The end of this chapter was bittersweet, but hopefully a bit of foreshadowing, as well. Perhaps they will both live through the nightmare to come? Perhaps someday they will have a child, one that is very much wanted by both?

Wow. I must say that this was not at all what I was expecting when I read the summary of your story! I mean that in a good way though! You never fail to keep the reader on the edge of her seat with all the twists and turns you've made. I'm also amazed that you're writing this as you go...it must be exhausting (mentally as well as emotionally). I stand in awe. 
I've been catching up on your story over the last few days and was so wrapped up in it, that I was a bad little reviewer and am just reviewing your most recent chapter.

Ah...a drunk Snape is always very interesting. At least he came back from Voldemort in one piece- well, physically.Ooh, I can't wait to see McGonagall's reaction to finding Hermione there! That's going to be so good!!Great job!

SNape and Hermione singing a duet huh? I am surprised Albus didnt question him more about how he healed her. Bigger fish to fry I assume. Oh and don't think I didnt notice yet another comment about muscle tone. This time Hermione's, out with it sneakypants what is going on???I really enjoyed Albus' reminder that Hermione was an adult before her marriage. Ha!

Well I'll have you know that I hooted with laughter while reading this story. Thus I have alerted my coworkers that I am not, in fact working. Hermione and her howlers are a thing of beauty. I am worried about that bed, and Voldy and if she will be up for a quickie tonight. Or should I say will Snape be up for it??

My goal is to get caught up with this! I seem to pull to within a few chapters and then <<shiny>> I am off again.
Ginny’s description of Harry’s power and how he has changed physically is kinda freaking me out. Is there something more sinister going on? Not that you would tell me…
I was really glad when Severus asked Hermione to cease with the “Mummy” crap that was getting on my nerves too.
