Wowwee wow wow wow...Evil cliffie/brilliant chapter...I couldn't "put it down". I can't wait to see wtf she was thinking?! I am sure her howler was fantastic though I would like to know what it said! (Skips off to wait for more!)

Oh, my gosh – that was hilarious! “I have a book…” Of course she has a book. Rotfl!  Priceless! The fact of Ginny needing a book and turning to Hermione to learn how to entice a boy to have sex. Lol   And what’s up with Malfoy? Dark spell to turn Hermione against Harry? Yeah right! This story is delightful and I’m hooked. I need to be typing – and I’m hooked.

What a truly beautiful birthday! I loved the conversation with Hooch. She really doesn’t want to  admit that Hermione could be her ‘type’ cuz she doesn’t want to duel it out with Snape! But her reaction when Hermione sucked the last of the firewhisky from her finger and at dinner was priceless! I totally loved Snape’s reaction to the reactions Hermione got – but he asked for it – so he should have just accepted it. Too bad all the attention made Hermione uncomfortable. Terrific chapter… on to the next!

Ooh, this was fun. The Howlers, Ginny's anxiety/curiosity about the book and sex... hee. Eek about poor Hermione though! That bed really seems to have it in for her.

I love the fact that Severus messes with and manipulates Lucius for a change. Too brilliant that he recieved a howler in front of the Dark Lord.I wonder what exactly happened with Hermione when the bed bit her.

Aaaaaahhhhhh. *deep sigh o contentment, floating in bubbles of happiness*. Snape the white knight (or is the black one in this case) saving the princess. for Snape.

Favorite line: "Fucking hell," he snarled and pulled her back to him. "This chair isn't big enough for you to get in a snit. If you wanted a chair fit for quarrelling, you should have transfigured it into a sofa."And of course, Severus' thought process after finding out about Hermione's howlers.  Perfect!I must say that this is likely my favorite marriage law fic ever.  Your version of Hermione is spot on, I think, in that she is a great mixture of teenager and woman.  She has the adult ideas, but seems to go about many of them in an adolescent way.  I also love your portrayal of Snape, his evolution from seething trapped man to quite in love without losing his core essence (ie... all those things we absolutely love about him).  Excellent job to both you and your beta; you have my votes!

Lol.  Is it bad that the last few lines are my favorite this time? :)  They made me smile! 

Great up date! I had to refresh my memory of where we were in the plot line, and I still can't wait to find out what happens next. :)

LOL - I loved this latest chapter - a howler to Lucius in front of the Dark Lord - oh dear and then the last line said between Severus and Hermione - true gold.

I love the way you've made something as simple as sharing lab space very sweet and exciting.  I also love the way that Snape menaces Lucius.  Now I'm going to be quite anxious as I wait to find out what precisely Hermione was up to with her fellow Gryffindors.  Great chapter!

I'm not quite sure how much I buy into the conversation with Ginny about 'nice girls'... at least I don't ever see Ginny saying that phrase. And "My darling boy."??? *ponders* Guess the plot is now progressing toward a climax, though!

Author's Response: I don't think that just because a fifteen- or sixteen-year-old girl is off kissing boys in corners it naturally equates that she's sexually active. I think you can go either way with Ginny, but I like the Ginny who worships Harry and is waiting for him to notice version for this story!  As for the other--welll, just wait.  LOL!

Maybe I just have too many friends who use the phrase, and they're definitely NOT what I think about when I think of Ginny!

You know, I was wondering if their entangled souls meant that if one died, the other dies as well. Apparently yes. Or at least they will know if the other is in pain. Well played. I hope little Peregrine will be okay at the end of this fic. He seems like such a nice boy.But the howlers...really. Just hilarious. What a self-righteous little prat Percy is. Honestly. the fact that she sent one to the Minister, and Umbridge (UMBRIDGE!!!) is just too good.Though, now I wonder if Voldy isn't a tad suspicious about Snape. That's not good. What kind of nicely cowed wife sends howlers to her husband's friends? Not the kind that's actually cowed. *sigh* Poor Hermione. It is just not her day.PS--not sure how I feel about her calling him a darling boy. It just rung kind of wrong. "Darling man," maybe, but "boy" was just...slightly squicky. That's my one piece of concrit to offer.

I like the idea that she takes "I'm going to kill you" as affection.  

"She didn't want to know which things Ginny might classify as indecent; she really did not."  Ah, but I'd like to know!  And I bet Hermione has done them all....OMG!  This chapter is amazing!  Howlers all around, and the whole dungeons burst wide open - what in heavens name is going on with that bed?!?  And what did she want Colin to take pictures of?And what, pray tell, is the darling boy (*screams with laughter at that alone*!) dealing with here?!? You have hinted that the next few chapters are coming out quickly - you had better be right, woman, because otherwise I may explode, right along with a fair part of the lower castle!!

Now what was that all about?  I understand the Howlers I would have done that long ago, but the bed?  Well done! Irish
