I am so relieved that potion was not something nasty. I just knew Snape would come up with something "special" to give his wife.I loved the ending. It seems Snape may just believe they are Soul Mates after all.

Dear Mia Madwyn (or should I say Dear Santa),I' ve been a good girl and I know I'm a bit early but as I don't know how much time you will need I'm writing to you now.As I said I've been a good girl: I visit my grandmother every week-end, I make cookies for my friends and I've just cleaned my entire flat, so I would like to order a Severus Snape for next Christmas. Of course I wish for the one who gives birthday's presents, who asked my family for my favourite dishes and last but not least the Sex God One. In one word the Severus Snape present in this chapter. My last birthday I did the whole dropping hints for a full month before hand (and not subtle hints either) and my hubby still managed to get the wrong thing and give it to me a day late. If I ever had a birthday even half so wonderful, I think I would then have to kill myself (or just retire to a cave somewhere). Nice sleight of hand with that potion, by the way, as you had us thinking that perhaps it had something to do with what he is supposed to be brewing for her to follow Voldemort's orders. Sensual chapter - Severus said over and over that he is not a teenager - but when was the poor boy ever. He sure is sensual enough with Hermione in this chapter (lucky girl) - I do not think he is giving himself credit. I cannot wait to see how his feeling progress.

I think Snape's clothing is unutterably sexy.  No wonder Hermione likes to steal his gear, cheeky wench!  *g*  Severus couldn't be more delicious than if he was dipped in chocolate *yum*.  I liked the scene where Hermione flaunts her new billowing cool robe/gift to Par&Lav.  Plus you've got them with matching smirks anticipating lunch.  5 snaps!!

And you've done it again, another superb chapter.  You are a master at writing conversations.  I always read a new chapter twice, thoughly first and then just the spoken word the second time to make the conversation flow.  I may just cry when this fic is finished, it has become quite a habit of mine to check for new chapters each day.  I can't tell you the joy I feel when I find a new one.  Happy writing...

Oh my, there is just so much angst, so many complications, I think they think too much or they both are a touch neurotic. It's good to know Severus is admitting to himself of how aware he is of his sexual attraction and desires for his wife and I found it very comforting that he offered for her to call him by his first name. Progress, slow and steady it seems, but as long as it keeps going in the right direction. I don't know if I can take another backslide. I'm WAY too invested in this fic! And impatient for them to get things going where htey are on teh same page. I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm complaining about the pace of the story, It really makes me have to think and re-read to catch little subtle things. And you do pack a lot in a very few words. Ohhhhh. . .That was another delectible chapter. . . I like how 'birthdays suite Hermione' (paraphrase). It's so. . . for lack of a better word, cute how she lounges around on the bed like any other day. And those robes. . . she billows! And they 'sport matching smirks' ('nother paraphrase)! Tee hee! He is definitely contagious. Severus' insecurities are so appealing. . . he could do so much worse than having dear, dear Hermione as a 'soulmate.' (I'm not sure I entirely appreciate that word, either. . .) The way you have their souls kiss - sort of - is so perfect. . . I love that she "billowed" and that she had to resist the urge in teh Great Hall and then was completely aware of doing it in front of Parvati and Lavendar. I think it shows us that she is at that age that teeters between young and matured or child and woman. It was a great touch.
