About Mia
I came to the world of Harry Potter relatively early, after first resisting it because it just seemed too trendy. But when the first book came out in paperback in the US I picked it up at the airport when I was about to catch a flight, and two chapters in knew I would be ordering the original from amazon.co.uk in hardcover as soon as I landed.
I came to fanfic late, waiting until after I'd read DH. That means I've been totally obsessed with the fanfic world of Harry Potter, and most specifically the SS/HG ship, since August of '07.
I'm helplessly and hopelessly hooked.

I am glad that Hermione was able to enjoy her birthday. Hopefully the potion worked as well as it was supposed to work. I definitely enjoyed how her new robes billowed. I'm very fascinated with Severus's billowing robes.

I do get lost in your eyes, you know.Sigh. The best line in this fic so far. Gorgeous chapter, wonderful conversation on their bed, awkward and amusing, I loved it. Why oh why would anyone allow someone to make them drink something that they didn't know what it was? Strange. Now I can't wait for the next chapter.

Ok I know that wasn't a poison. But I'm wondering what it is. And how come he's got the book? And what is he waiting for to confront her about it?I'm not liking Ginny at all in this. She's just acting like Ron and Harry's little lap-dog trying to take over Hermione's place in the trio (at least to my eyes).Love the chapter, love the story, love your muse.Oh how many chapters can we still look forward too? Ginny is all about Harry. I don't begrudge her that. After all, Hermione is now all about Severus!
But Ginny is protective of Harry and if anything hurts Harry (or hurts his feelings) Ginny will be all over it, so that's just Ginny (the way I see her in this story, anyway).
I don't have any idea how many chapters, except that we're drawing closer to the end. And the next chapter is in the queue. Thanks!

I was feeling it, too.
Her injuries seem to have appeared out of nowhere. Didnt she realize something was wrong after her wedding night? Or did the most recent sex make things worse? I did like their pillow talk and cuddling.

Hermione reads books. Books told her it would hurt the first time but that was normal, so it hurt, so she figured it was normal, and went on about her business. Poor Hermione.
He should get a patent on that breath potion and make his millions. The Grangers would be impressed-or would the scoff at the neauvelle rich?

I wonder what potion Severus gave her. One that will cancel any poison he feeds her eventually? Was it the poison itself? Hopefully we'll find out what exactly Severus wanted with Voldemort when he planned the meeting. I don't really think he was trying to get out of doing something for Hermione for her birthday. He seems so mysterious!
