Yeah! Afer going through TPP withdrawl when it was down I came back to an update! :)Really like this story. Can't wait to see Hermione and Severus' confrontation. Hermione is being a little daft - Harry, McGonagall, (probably even her own heart) is telling her that Sev. loves her. What could she possibly want Ron for?? and why won't she accept that Sev. wants her?? Silly girl!

Oh that big prat, Ron! How could speak for her like that!  Can't wait to see how Snape will react to his letter, if he'll come to her or let her come to him. I hope he comes to her, but I'm just a sappy romantic! *running away from Snape's scowling face*

Yippee another chapter!  Such a great chapter too - Hermione is recovering, Severus is brooding, Harry is full of angst and wise words ...................Ron, well, Ron is still a prat!

Life would be simpler for Hermione if Ron just died. Then she wouldn't feel the need to be with him, thinking she's doing the "right thing." Hmm . . . I wonder what happened to Hermione at the end. I'm looking forward to an update, to learn what the casualties were. Great story so far!

I am so glad Hermione caught Ron trying to be sneaky and confess like that. She needs to send the idiot packing to Lav-Lav.

A great battle! It was very exciting.

I trust Hermione won't be as foolish as to go with Ron after everything... not eventually anyway! 

I really hope it does not take hermione long to realize she wants to be with snape. i'm also hoping this isn't one of the stories where snape feels like he's a bad person and has to be convinced to be with hermione, but i suppose you will make it wonderful even if it is. glad the final battle is through with. i really really want some sshg action along with some upset ron of course....

Gosh I hope Severus gets out of Azkaban - maybe to heal Hermione, who has to have been cursed when destroying the horcrux.

Really like how she was able to help the Malfoys with Draco, and how Severus saved her from Bellatrix. Having Hermione use the wand of Voldemort's 'most faithful servant' for the final battle was a nice touch. Wish Ron had stayed put, or that George had taken him straight to St. Mungos rather then them fighting Rabastan. (But then again, conflict is what makes stories interesting, isn't it?)

Hope Severus, Rabastan and Hermione are all okay. I liked that she publicly admitted (at least in front of him, Ron and George) that Rabastan was her friend, but wish she hadn't said anything to commit herelf to Ron while she's still unsure. Hope Rabastan's comment makes it through to her (“He’s fallen for you.”), and her words to Ron (“I’ll go with you. I still want the same things.”) don't hurt Severus (or her chances with him) too deeply...

Am looking forward to the start of "the real story"!

Wow, great battle. You certainly made the anxiety level increase with each person Hermione interacted with. I didn't know whether she was going to try to protect the person, trick them, hex them, or convince them to trust her. It was touch and go many times. I hated Hermione's answer to Ron about what she wanted to do in the future. I wanted to give Hermione a kick up the butt. (I get so emotional.) Anyway, my guess is that Hermione has been injured destroying the Horcrux and that she will end up with both Ron and Snape worried about her. Of course, I could be wrong. The chapter was a great Christmas present. Thanks.

Can't wait to see what's going to happen to Sev - and what the hell happened to Hermione for that matter!?!Obviously the horocrux was destroyed if Voldy's dead, so at least that worked out - oh the stress of wondering/worrying about everyone...lolLooking forward to the next installment.

How exciting! You did very well keeping the battle scene clear. It was easy to follow, and so action-packed! Poor Snape ... captured and misunderstood once again. And poor Ron!
