Well, I think in the long run, she did the right thing.  Still going strong.

I'm sad for her. This is a painful decision even if it increases her chances to end up with dear Sev'. I'm sure he'll find (create) the right potion for her ;D

I think she is doing the right thing.  Ron would never be truly happy with out fathering his own children.  Resentment, it would happen to both of them down the road as sad as it is, sometimes love it just not enough. 

That was one way to clear the air. :)

oh my, veritaserum.  I totally get why she did that, though. But I wouldn't blame him for being very angry.  Excellent story.  Looking forward to more!

Well, at least she can say she's talked to Ron now, even if her pragmatic side pushed her to dose him with Veritaserum to do it; sometimes the unfiltered truth is best, though it still hurts.  Lovely chapter.

I am completely torn as to whether she made a good or bad choice in telling him, but under the use of veritaserum.  I sort of feel like once she heard his answers, she never should have said that she Hopefully with some distance, she will become more level-headed.

I agree with Harry.  If she really loved Ron, none of this would be an issue.  I think she is lying to herself about how she feels about Ron.  He is convenient and comfortable and someone she constantly disagrees with -- even about Shorty.  I think she genuinely wants Ron to be happy and I think part of her is relieved she is not tasked with providing that happiness.  I think Harry thinks she is "irrational" because a woman in love wouldn't think like that.  However, she is not irrational, she is just not in love.

I like the way you handled this somewhat obliquely instead of head on.

Loved that they finally met even if it is obviously a long way yet for marriage and love. If only Hermione could get over her obsession for Ron I would be totally happy, they are so illsuited it makes my brain hurt just thinking about Hermione beeing so dense sha is unable to see that for herself.

Good chapter, i hope Hermione dosn't tell Ron I never did like them together.  I hope Severus dosn't think she put herself on his list that could cause all kinds of trouble.
