I'm a 30 something home-maker, writer and researcher. Harry Potter fanfiction is my passion and my great escape from everything. I am deeply in love with Severus Snape and he is the only man I would ever consider leaving my husband for. I am most fond of happy endings. Life is too full of angst and heartache, my dreams and thoughts need something more uplifting.
I was born in Sri Lanka and have lived in India, Poland and now, obviously the UK.
I love food, so many of my stories will have detailed descriptions of things I'm currently craving. I also love travelling, the arts and crafts, cooking, baking, oil painting, especially the pre-Raphaelites, literature and culture in general. My favourite colours are at present are royal purple, silver, emerald green, true red and fucshia. Colour is like music, it speaks silently to the soul when it needs it most.

Oh,I get so upset every time I come to an end of a chapter.I am so hooked on your story.Well it looks like Draco's turn next.Post more soon..

Hello :) I haven't worked in Draco into the plot at this stage - though it is on my to do list :)More up soon. I need to get it betaed first.
I am so glad that Hermione has Narcissa to talk to. She doesn't exactly have an abundance of girlfriends, does she? After all, a girl can never go to the restroom alone, even men know that rule :)

Indeed. Hermione did need a friend, and given her mentality, she needed someone as clever and as smart as she is.
I have a feeling Hermione's sweet peck to Lucius and her being seen arm-in-arm with Narcissa is going to create some real shockwaves in Wizarding Britain when those pics inevitably hit the Prophet's pages. Her burgeoning friendship with the Malfoys is guaranteed to raise more than a few eyebrows and make them seriously question the insinuations being made against her. Unfortunately, I'm sure the Weasleys will find a way to twist Hermione's actions to look as sordid as possible. I do hope Arthur can find a way to get Molly, in particular, to see reason and accept the help they so desperately need. Hm... since Bill has experience and training in dealing with the Dark, perhaps he can give his father a helping hand?

Hello. Yes, indeed, I think the Malfoys and Hermione being all cozy is going to raise one hell of a stir in the media. As for the Weasleys, I think they need a real wake up call before things can change for the better. Hopefully, they will accept some intervention soon.
Love her reaction to Snape's erection. Fits with her age and experience so well. :)

Hello :) I'm so glad. I didn't want her to be too goody-goody, but I didn't want her brazen [at least at this stage]. Thank you for the review :)
awwww! i read this chapter listening to Dan Gibson's Solitudes version of Sunshine on my shoulder...so this all made me just die with cuteness ^.^

I'm so glad :) I loved writing this story.
Things seem to be looking up for Hermione and Severus...I was glad to read the serious talk between her and Harry, and Harry's dedication to making things right for her at the Order of Merlin awards ceremony. Also I hope that Ron's exposure to the training in the Auror program with Neville and Harry will help him to finally realise that maybe Minerva and Kingsley were right about his taint of Dark magic. If Ron can be made to see the light, then maybe he can at least get his little sister to listen to him. I still think that Arthur will have to be the one to put his foot down with Molly, though. However, the thought of a mass Weasley intervention is kind of funny... The shopping expedition sounded like loads of fun--I have often wondered what it would be like to be able to spend as much as I wanted on anything I liked the looks of! Being able to read about it was nearly as much fun as actually doing it.Finally, I'm glad that Severus is at least willing to entertain the idea of a marriage of friends, if not true love. Gotta do those baby steps! Just sneak love in through the back door while he's not paying attention...his jealousy of Harry was an encouraging sign, perhaps. Looking forward to seeing what happens next with everybody!

Hello my dear. Thank you again for the review and the pretty stars.Yes, Severus is taking baby steps but the Dark Curse is not making it easy for him to find love. I think it's not going to happen anytime soon for him. But Hermione has got enough Syltherin in her to understand and begin to manipulate him when she thinks he's backing away.I enjoyed writing about their shopping. I know what you mean, I'd love to be able to just go to a shop and say, I'll have that in red, and black and perhaps, in green too. The Weasleys are a tough nut to crack. But time is the best healer, as are of course, friends :)
I started read your story the other day and didn't get a chance to review.I just had to tell you that your story is great.I woulld love to see Hermione dance with both Malfoy men.It would set everybody on their ears.Maybe Harry and Mrs.Malfoy.I would like to see something good come out of his for the Malfoys.I wonder if Sev will figure out that he really has started to have feelings for Hermione.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review and the pretty stars. It does mean a lot when readers take the time to let me know that they are enjoying the story.I suppose it will take time for Severus to realise that he's got real feelings. A dark curse is not going to let him find love, or indeed, to recognise love easily.
