It's getting there, but we've still a couple chapters left. Umbridge will get her punishment. She definitely deserves to suffer for what she's done.
I see the story is wrapping up. Enjoyable chapter, I can't wait to see what Albus has to say about all this.

Umbridge gets what she deserves! 
Severus is rid of this horrid wizard. 
Dumbledore will be saved! Severus 'Black Knight' Snape to the rescue! Oh, and Harry did a good job capturing them.

Oh my, what a developement. I hope nobody let Umbrigde get off to easy by claiming that she didn't know it was Lestrange she was dealing with? That toad should spend the rest of her days in a cell next to him in Azkaban!

I think it was best Harry decided to be a little quicker than he should have, who knows what he might have apparated into lol. I hope Severus Brings Dumbledore back safely.

That's true. He's good at his job and has a sixth sense for when to do things.
Just goes to prove the point that no one should underestimate the talent and cleverness of Hermione Granger or Severus Snape!But I wish that Severus wouldn't go to get Albus all by himself without telling anyone where he was going. But if something awful and unexpected happens, and push comes to shove, Hermione and Harry could give Lestrange a bit of Veritaserum to find out where his "hidey-hole" is located.Great chapter, and I'm looking forward to more SSHG snogging, etc. Especially the etc.

Severus feels he needs to do it himself because he feels responsible for Dumbledore's disappearance. Hopefully, everything will work out. As you said, there's always Veritaserum!Mmmm, more SSHG snogging... yum!
Hmm...maybe Azkaban should take a cue from those Texas prisons and make the prisoners wear pink uniforms. As long as Dolores could bring her precious kitties along, she should be right at home.
I'm not so sure that Severus going off on his own to LeStrange's is such a good idea, though. Lord knows what kind of nasty surprises await him there. And God only knows what mental state Albus will be in after all this time. Yikes.

Too true. There might be some surprises. Severus feels the need to do this alone to 'repent' for letting Albus disappear in the first place, I think. Hopefully, all will work out well.As for the prison cells, we don't want Umbridge too cozy now, do we? Maybe Lestrange should have the uniform and the kitties?HermioneDiggory's response: Good point about Dolores, so definitely the pink and the kitties for Lestrange.
As for Dolores' punishment at Azkaban, she should have to wear ugly Chudley Cannons orange uniforms and have plates of rottweilers and pit bulls on her walls. That should send her right round the bend!
Umbridge deserves some serious punishment.

No Severus, don't go alone! Without telling anyone else the name of the town, or the street, or the house number, so that when you get into trouble no one will know where to look for you... arrgh!!! What kind of a double-agent are you, anyway!? 
Seriously though, I'm glad things are moving quickly and that Umbridge was shown just how foolish she'd been. Not that I imagine she's sorry for what she did to Severus, just that she was used by another Death Eater... Still, I'm sure there will be some time served in Azkaban for her duplicity, and perhaps all her little kitten dishes can be there with her for company. Make the place homey and all that.

That's it exactly with Umbridge. She's mortified to be associated with a DE. I don't think she deserves homey where she's going. But that will be up to the Ministry!Severus feels he needs to do this alone as he feels very responsible for what happened to Albus. (Like it's his fault!) But that's Severus.
Whew, got three chapters to catch up on and just one to go! This one was absolutely hilarious! Holding the kitty plates for ransom, Umbridge's "I'll get you..." remark, and finally the return of one of the kitties as a hairless wonder! Reminded me of Doctor Evil's cat in the Austin Powers movies, Mister Bigglesworth. Then I thought of a bald Umbridge, which took me to a Very Bad Place... 
Can't wait to see where Umbridge's trail leads, and hopefully soon someone will be able to find and save Dumbledore! On to the next chapter!

I'm glad you found all that entertaining. I must admit, I too thought of Dr. Evil's cat while writing this. It's truly fun to wrangle Umbridge. She always makes such a fuss when it happens!
OMG, this chapter was awesome. And a whole lot of fun. I was seriously scared when they were strolling thru the ministry. And I loved how Hermione handled Umbridge when she got in there! Very awesome, I was kinda suprised that threatening the kitten plates actually worked! Very funny. Thanks for the update and I can't wait to see what happens next! Much Love ~ Brena

Thanks, Brena! I think that those plates are the closest thing to a family that Ubridge has. So, of course, she wouldn't want to see her little darlings hurt. My Aunt had real cats. (Only two, although we called her the crazy cat lady when she wasn't within ear-shot.) She'd never been able to have kids and she treated those cats just like family. Perhaps she was even more protective of them than she would have been of a child!

Well, she did have her dragged through the forest. And I'd like to think that the Centaurs were... well... not pleasant to her! We'll have to see what happens now. Hopefully they'll burn her at the stake!
I've caught up! This is brilliant. Hermione you are the brightest with of your age. So glad Severus is back with us and that he was able to express his feelings to Hermione I think i'd burst with all that emotion inside of me not able to release it. Now it's up to Harry i'm sure he'll do a fine job.

Yay! I'm glad you've caught up! The pent up emotions were a great deal of the torture, I think. It would be so frustrating to not be able to say or show anything! But, yay to Hermione and her brains for setting him free. (It worked out pretty good for her, too!)

Yes! *pumps fist in the air* I was so worried when Hermione chose not to be with Severus when Harry revived him, but the Potions master was not about to let this opportunity slip through his fingers.I hope their plan to expose Umbridge and capture Lestrange bears fruit, and that Dumbledore can be brought back, as well.Very nice chapter, dear!Beth

Thanks, Beth! Hopefully everything will work out as planned! As for Severus, he'd been trapped without being able to say or do anything for way too long. He wasn't about to let future happiness slip through his fingers, especially knowing how Hermione had felt about him before.
Somehow that was easier that I had anticipated. YAY!And they accepted their feeling for each other.Now the chase begins! I can't wait to read what is going to happen next.
