I'm not sure what happened there at the end. But it would appear that Snape branded Hermione with a complimenting tattoo on her chest. Please, oh please update soon. I'm on pins and needles.

Not sure if I've reviewed on this story before, I read so many I don't always have the time to, so apologies if I haven't! I have been following this story and absolutley love it! And I really loved this chapter, what a corker!Is what he just did to Hermione good or bad?I loved the insights into his tortured mind and soul, really fascinating.

Great chapter, but why did Severus place the pearls on Hermione's chest?

I'm pretty sure I read this, but returning to a well written story is like having a conversation with a good friend.  See you next chapter!

Very intriguing...I'm loving it.

I will admit:  I'm completely confused in this chapter.  Particularly whatever Hermione is thinking about before Severus enters the hallway to see her laughing.  I don't understand what she figured out about Dumbledore or the phoenix brand...  Or rather -- *how* she could have figured any of that out...  I'm lost.

I've just read these first four chapters and wanted tolet you know I really enjoyed them. I like the slow moving pace and the mystery as well, looking foward to more!
